According to name, I assume the hotel link more to the lake, which is located on the opposite site of the park and further steps... We booked for going to Haicheng Ocean Park, that was very convenient. There is no shuttle service but taxi ride is quite convenient and fast to be fair. Staff did not speak English, not even try to speak English, always denied and did not understand a word. Room was big. Play Corner for kid was OK. Breakfast was variety. Freshly made omelette was delicious. We communicated with hotel before we arrived about a special arrangement for our son's birthday... They promised a cake, but didn't get it. Asked at reception, none know about arrangements at all.

I chose this hotel because of the Irish pub attached to the hotel but it was closed for the week I was there. I look at the gym facilities at every hotel and this looked good however being there was another story. The gym does not get cleaned, I arrived on a Friday and the following Friday a dirty tissue still lay next to the exercise bike. The hotel has very dated decor and shows signs of aging. Room cleaning staff were very helpful and the in house restaurant has a western menu

The hotel is Ok, a typical Holiday Inn. But the location is disappointing. I am in search of the old Songjiang town and thought this hotel's location is good for that. But it looks like there is no such thing as old Songjiang town. This location will be good for business travelers.

This is the hotel that I stay regularly when I come to Shanghai. During my last stay, the front desk staff were so helpful, especially Ms. Carol - thank you for all the assistance provided. The location of the hotel is strategic, a stone throw away from local restaurants, cafe, bar, massage & pool center. The subway station distance is not too far from the hotel. Distance to Disneyland and Hongqiao Airport is within 30 minutes or less if traffic is smooth. The hotel room is comfy and clean. I like the pillows where you have the selection of soft or hard pillows. The setup of the working desk and chair in the room is perfect for business travellers. Highly recommended this hotel. 👍

Very friendly and helpful staff. It helped that the front desk staff spoke English. We were traveling with a small baby and needed an extended check out due to his feeding schedule. This wasn’t a problem at all. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The view from the 16th floor (where our room was) was quite lovely.

I had a very satisfying stay at Holiday Inn Shanghai Hongqiao.The room rate was very affordable compared to other hotels in the area, making it a great value for money. The service was excellent staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The hotel also provided very good complimentary services, which made the stay even more comfortable and pleasant. In addition, the hotel is in a very strategic location with easy access to transportation and nearby facilities.
