"I stayed at 3 hotels all near Flagstaff stations for this trip, just to try something new and compare. Excellent location and the Flagstaff garden is right in front of my window so the view is superb! The bed is too soft but so as the Pegasus and the Jazz hotel so I guess it's the standard?.. Staffs had excellent service. It's my favourite out of the 3 and I would stay here again, though this is a pure hotel so there's no kitchen for those who need to know, unlike the Pegasus and the Jazz."

"It was my first trip to Melbourne, and Canterbury international hotel added an exquisite experience to it, 10/10 to the place, services. Hope to see it again."

"Almost everything here was great, and the staff is lovely. My only complaint is that the noise from the doors shutting loudly in the hallway is quite bad (at least on the 4th floor). It woke me up several times, and is even quite rattling during the day since the walls seem to shake whenever the doors open and close (I think the hospitality closet is also nearby so the frequency increases during those hours as well). They do provide a UE Wonderboom 3 speaker in each room which helps block out some of the noise, so that's a nice touch. Overall, very happy to be staying here and it's in great proximity to explore the charms of Fitzroy, Collingwood, Carlton, Brunswick, etc. They also did double-charge my credit card despite the reservation being prepaid, so once I caught that, I had to email and call to have that reversed, and the refund came back lower than the initial (mistake) charge due to forex conversions, so I lost a few bucks for a charge that should have never happened, which is frustrating. Still 4-stars overall though."

"Really liked the location of the hotel - was convenient yet in a location that’s not too noisy, just off King’s street at Flinders Lane. Really convenient many eateries, but will still need to walk about 10 minutes to Little Bourke street to access areas with more shops and eateries. Room was really good, a bit small, but clean and amenities were all there. Liked the fact there was a Nespresso machine as well."

"Good location situated just besides M CITY Mall where food and grocery stores are conveniently available. Clean and cosy and room size and is reasonable large leaving plenty of room to move around with a super king size bed and 2x 24 inches luggage. Just small improvement is on house keeping. It will be more convenient if the tea and coffee supplies can be replenished on daily basis without having to request daily. However the staff were quick and friendly to replenish upon request during the stay so no issue, just bit inconvenience. Breakfast is ok although not many choices but is sufficient for a nice morning meal. Overall the stay was value for money and we were quite happy."

"I had a pleasant stay at Mercure Melbourne Doncaster. The hotel is modern, clean, and located in a convenient area close to Westfield Doncaster shopping centre. The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and well equipped with great city views. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to assist with any requests. Breakfast had a good variety, and the restaurant offered quality food in a relaxed setting. The rooftop pool and fitness facilities were an added bonus. Overall, it’s a great choice for both business and leisure stays in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. Highly recommended for comfort and value."

"Awesome location- close to office. Great team - only a bit frustrated was twice during reception time in morning, there should be someone there, he was not. First, in the morning at 8am but reception was not yet opened and had to wait for the person to arrive 15-20 mins, I called the number on the desk but it couldn’t go through and I was late for my next appointment. Others were waiting too. 2nd time, 10am I wanted to get my car park remote, waited another 15-20mins. Phone was not working as well. I was running late for my next appointment, and as I closed the lift door, I heard some voices. Went back there, and he was there. If the phone was working, great but both time when I really needed the team, they were not there. Reception team - Brian and Sarah was excellent for my pre-arrival questions/booking via both phone and email. Parking arrangements was awesome. Basement parking and lift goes up to your floor level. Corridor smells stale like student accommodation I used to live in from people cooking. Cleanliness was great. There’s mark on the walls and etc.. just like a student accommodation but for the price I am paying, I’m happy. Pets are allowed apparently as I saw dogs on reception area and heard from my balcony. The wall are sound proof so it’s awesome, thank goodness. I will still come back next time for location, service, convenience and it perfect for a short stay for my work. Internet, table to work, washing machine + dryer, u can cook if you like, just perfect for me. I’m out most of the time, so only back home to sleep. It’s perfect. I had park view but the blinds were see through. I can see out, hopefully ppl can’t see in and was conscious about that."

"全新酒店，環境設計服務非常棒！ 非常貼心到位， 還送了酒店專屬的Toe 包包。"

"The Best Western Plus Buckingham International was very nice. Located out of the City in the suburbs but within walking distance to local shops, train station and a large shopping mall 5 mins drive away. There is still some sort of construction going on but I didn’t hear any noise as I was out all day. I didn’t try the restaurant or pool. Reception is currently operating from a ground floor room instead of its original location. One thing though, the phone in my room and the safe did not work. If you plan to use these I’d suggest you check them at the beginning of your stay and talk to the staff. The staff were great. I’d stay there again."

"Location and service were excellent. Bit of an older facility and swimming pool is tiny. Wi-fi is a bit slow"
