"Recently stayed at Mango Hills in a 2 bedroom apartment. Exterior of the hotel is clean and landscaping is beautiful. Staffs are friendly and polite. However the 2 bedrooms apartment we stayed is worn out and cleanliness is lacking. Linens are old and dirty with stains.
Breakfast is average and restaurant cleanliness is substandard. Hotel has potential but in need of upgrading works."

"Stay was very good. Location with horticulture garden is only plus point.
Reached there via Google maps and it was direct. Also no steep road.
Restaurant food was good but they have time limitations. if we ask them to order snacks at room at evening they will deny due to either restaurant is closed or dinner time.
Complementary breakfast was good except idly, which were sticky due to i think, less cook time. Room service was good. Suites does not have view but they are very big. "

The hotel is in a very convenient central location, making it easy to travel around Ooty and visit nearby attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was very pleasant. The staff were polite, helpful, and always ready to assist whenever we needed something. The most special part of our stay was on the last night, when I requested the hotel team to arrange a candlelight dinner as a surprise for my wife. They arranged everything beautifully and at a very reasonable price. The decoration, ambiance, and setup were amazing and it made the evening truly memorable for both of us. I would like to give a big thank you to the kitchen and restaurant team for their excellent arrangement and service. Chef Karthik prepared delicious food for our candlelight dinner, specially we love that gobi 65 and mushroom starters amd overall food was also so good and we really enjoyed it. Special thanks to the restaurant team members Babu and Dinesh for their attentive service during the dinner. "Fabulous setting up on a hill about a 20 min walk down to the town(definitely get a rickshaw back). Didn’t realise we could order eggs for breakfast until our second morning (not offered them on the first morning). Cake at breakfast was yummy.
Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned on arrival and there were splatters marks on the wall above the tea/coffee area. We also returned to our room late afternoon to find maintenance working on our balcony - did feel this could have been done after checkout!
Fabulous shower.
We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was very good. The high taxes in Tamil Nadu added to the price (almost 25%) so bear this in mind . Cocktails weee excellent.
We did the morning ’hike’ which was well worth getting up for.
We were brought a hot water bottle on our second night which was a lovely surprise.
Tea & biscuits served between 5 & 5.30pm which was a nice touch although more of the breakfast cake would have been good.
Would recommend staying here as rooms, location & restaurant are excellent."

The property is good to stay clean and well maintained, but no restaurant except breakfast, city restaurants are too far auto charges 700 rs return for 3.5 km that is too much, zomato and Swiggy is there, less option of restaurant for vegetarians 2 to 3 only,rest all is good no complains, room 101 should have tinted view glass for privacy reasons, that should be taken care off immediately, request to owner to open restaurant as well for guest atleast . staff is very well trained and behaved thanks 👍

On our family visit to Ooty & Coonoor, we stayed at Aakash Rooms and Cottages. Overall we had a very pleasant stay. Me and my family felt very comfortable staying at Aakash. Staff is polite and very supportive. Pros - Walking distance of 10 mins from Ooty Railway Station & Ooty Bus Stand - In-house Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks & Dinner available - Free Wi-fi - Daily house-keeping is done - Ooty daily tours package available I would recommend everyone to choose Aakash Rooms & Cottages on their vacation to OOty.

Had a great stay with family at Hotel Carnation, Ooty for 3 nights. It is very near to Charring Cross junction and other market areas. Botanical Garden is also walkable at 1KM. There's a restaurant ”Madras Rasoi” and a Food Truck at the Hotel serving both Veg & N. Veg food. Room was very good and spacious. Geyser is there in the bathroom, so 24/7 hot water there. Kettle is provided for heating drinking water. Hospitality was great by it's owner Mr. Mariadas, very nice person. Mr. Prince who is at reception is a young chap who is very helpful and friendly and well mannered. All other staffs were also very good and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here. I will definitely come back to this hotel next time as well.

The hotel services were excellent top notch. The staff were professional, provided me with a lot of extra services with no additional cost, rooms were clean. And most importantly the location is absolutely great. Just beside the botanical garden i had some amazing experiences. The only con is the room size is too small and i mean it. It's so small if you keep your luggage on the floor you won't be able to walk properly. This can be a major issue to a lot of people
