The rooms are incredibly luxurious, boasting 5-star amenities for what felt like a 3-star price. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by how modern and well-appointed everything was. They’ve thought of everything: a hot water dispenser right in the room, a large Sony TV with seamless Wi-Fi connectivity, and even a comfy recliner single-seater sofa. Plus, the convenience of a separate foldable extra bed is a huge bonus. What truly surprised me was how cozy and warm the room stayed, even without a heater – perfect for Ooty's cool climate. Location-wise, it's ideal. V Grand Hotel is very close to Charring Cross, putting you right at the heart of Ooty's action, yet it remains remarkably calm and silent.

It was so peaceful and had such a great vibe - the staff were super friendly and polite, which made my stay even better. The room had all the standard amenities and was well-kept. Also, they had some amazing childcare facilities and fun games to play, which was great for my little ones. And let's not forget about the food - it was top-notch quality and absolutely delicious! overall, we had a fantastic time and left feeling very happy and satisfied.

Room & Ambiance: The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable. The interior decor was a nice blend of modern and traditional, offering a cozy atmosphere. I particularly appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail in the room setup. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with all essential amenities. Food: No food service Location: Astoria Residency is conveniently located, making it easy to explore nearby attractions like the Botanical Gardens, Ooty Lake, and the famous Nilgiri Mountain Railway. The scenic drive to the hotel itself was a pleasant experience, and the peaceful environment ensured a relaxing stay. Overall Experience: For anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great views and hospitality in Ooty, Astoria Residency is a solid choice. I stayed at Mango Hill Central Ooty with my wife for 2 nights and 3 days, and we had a really wonderful experience. The hotel is in a very convenient central location, making it easy to travel around Ooty and visit nearby attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was very pleasant. The staff were polite, helpful, and always ready to assist whenever we needed something. The most special part of our stay was on the last night, when I requested the hotel team to arrange a candlelight dinner as a surprise for my wife. They arranged everything beautifully and at a very reasonable price. The decoration, ambiance, and setup were amazing and it made the evening truly memorable for both of us. I would like to give a big thank you to the kitchen and restaurant team for their excellent arrangement and service. Chef Karthik prepared delicious food for our candlelight dinner, specially we love that gobi 65 and mushroom starters amd overall food was also so good and we really enjoyed it. Special thanks to the restaurant team members Babu and Dinesh for their attentive service during the dinner. I would also like to appreciate the front office team – Cerok and Rohit for helping with the decoration and for their overall support throughout our stay. Because of their efforts, my surprise for my wife became very special. Overall, it was a memorable stay and a beautiful experience for both of us. Thank you to the entire team at Mango Hill Central Ooty for making our trip so special. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ooty, especially couples looking for a pleasant and memorable stay.

A decent hotel nearby ooty lake. We stayed at triple deluxe, the third bed was sofa cum bed, although not so comfortable, easily 3 adults can stay with that in place. Restrooms were clean. No food available.
