"A lovely hotel in a very accessible area. We came to the hotel from the ferry port of Marseille, only a few minutes drive away and left the hotel the next morning needing the A7 Road which was very close by. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are super clean with very functional bathroom including a bath tub. The free continental breakfast buffet from 7am is a great bonus with a nice few options and coffee. Underground parking was available at €15 per night. I highly recommend Toyoko Inn Marseille."

"Perfect location. Especially for those who will only going to stay for a short trip because you will not waste your time going to the point of interest of Marseille because it is at the heart of the tourist area. The view from the room is gorgeous and worth the money. Restaurants and souvenir shops are lining up the area. Based on my limited stay I learn that Marseilles can give up different vibes only in a few block so the location of the hotel made me more comfortable. The AC works properly and there is an elevator. I believe there is also a car parking service but I don’t use it. The receptionists are professionals and helpful."

"The location is excellent just across Gare Marseille St. Charles. Hotel room is spacious, with AC, hair dryer and electric kettle. Linen is very clean. Bathroom is very neat. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast served with various types of cold cut, cereals, bakeries, fruit salad, juice, milk, soy milk, coffee. I stayed for 3 nights and breakfast menu throughout was the same. No bottled water was provided in the room but it wasn't an issue to us. Free water machine is provided at the hotel lobby.Room wasn't tided up daily but I trust they are willing to do so if guests requested. Overall it was a pleasant stay and will recommend to friends."

"I would be very careful before booking this hotel during the summertime. They say there is AC but it's extremely weak, perhaps 10% strength, we tested out four different rooms. In the end I had to sleep with a wet towel. Thankfully they allowed me to leave the next day with a refund, all of the staff claimed a taxi would be €15 Euros but actually it was €30+. Other than that, the hotel seemed good, soft and clean beds, spacious enough, powerful shower. Didn't seem noisy either."

"It's a pretty OK place to stay for one night. I just needed to crash one night before taking the flight the next day. The staff at the counter don't communicate well unless you speak French. The location is a bit further away from the main station, but there's a metro within walking distance. The neighborhood is a bit chaotic."

"Hotel has nice decorated hall, bar and private parking. Staff at the reception was polite and often did their best answering our requests, but sometimes they were more eager to explain us all the rules and cared not much. Bar closed around 10 pm. It was not a restaurant, most of the dishes from menu were absent and there were not much to eat at all. There were no bathrobe and slippers which is pretty not standard for 4 star hotel. Breakfast was not good. Everyday was one sort of ham, sausages and scrambled eggs, croissants and yogurt with fruits. It always ended at 10. Not even longer on weekend. Staff at the breakfast was so arrogant. I felt superfluous. Cleaning was okey, but very chaotic, they always forgot black tea or towel or paper or etc. Always pushing reading lights into pillows - this is crazy. Room, bed, pillows, bathroom, tea facilities were convenient. Nice pictures of Marseilles, nice colors of the furniture. A/c was good, but not the coldest, though we were in the hot period where it was 40 outside. Windows are not big, no balconies, so it is a little bit gloomy. Shower and wc worked good. There was grocery shop just around the corner and shopping mall. Hotel has strange location though everything seems close on the map, in fact we never walked even to the Old Port, because for us it was too much walking. But it was convenient to use a car with private parking. This made our trip really good."

"This place is nice for a night. Not really near anything of importance, but if needing a place to stay before heading to the airport it's ideal. Near some restaurants in a seemingly dodgy part of town. The parking is a bit odd. I got stuck in the private parking for the apartment complex next door. When going into the parking stay to the left side. There's a nice pool and dining area to relax. Rooms are of great size and comfort. Very affordable in terms of a Crowne Plaza. Very good staff, was given a free upgrade. I highly recommend."

"We arrived an hour early, the staff were friendly and let us check in when we got there as our room was ready. The lady at reception was very thorough in making sure the room was up to standard prior to letting us in. The room was spacious and it was clean. The only downside to the accomodation is there isn’t much around, however for the price it was easy enough to get on the tram which was a few minutes walk down the hill."

"It is near to the train station. However if we want to go back to the hotel from the old city area, we need to walk long stair. Also, the environment outside the hotel is little smelly which is like urine smell but maybe this is the smell of Marseilles"

"Оказался самым лучшим решением цена-качество на 3 дня. Было важно безопасность района, его чистота, близость к центру =порту. От выхода из метро ”... порт ” - 1.5 минуты. Был номер на 4м этаже. Вид из окна на тихую красивую улицу и такие же дома напротив. Погуляв в первый раз по городу, решили, что с видом намсказочно повезл:в целом тихих, безопасных и чистых улиц в городе мало (( завтрак сносный. Такси можно вызвать, что оно подъехало почти ко входу, Bolt до аэропорта стоит 30-40 евро, ехать ОЧЕНЬ рано утром без пробок 30 минут. В номере нам для комфорта не хватало сейфа и холодильника"
