"Cleaning ladies were demonstrating 53 days in front of the hotel when I arrived. The rotating door was covered with mud and confetti, while the black women danced to loud African beats. A complete shock! They continued during my stay… The front desk was super helpful after I contacted their manager. My flight was delayed and I arrived a day late so they managed to modify my reservation without extra payment. My card didn’t work so I gave a cash deposit and they sent me an email when my suitcase that had been delayed arrived (so as not to wake me up). The housekeeping was average- twice they didn’t restock the water. Once they forgot a cleaning chemical. Another time they didn’t restock the decaffeinated capsules. Also they could have been more generous with the toilet paper. It’s the very thin recycled one, that goes fast. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant spacious, with a garden overlooking the marina. The room was large, modern and quiet, with an amazing view of the harbor, including both sunsets and sunrises! I even saw the incredible half an hour long fireworks for Bastille day right under my window! The bed is big and comfortable, pillows a bit too soft, lighting is good but there are no toiletries (which was initially problematic due to the lost luggage). Room service wasn’t available the only night that I wanted to order it - due to Bastille day celebrations. The QR code don’t work on my phone so I had to call the reception to order. Also there was no alcoholic drinks listed, plus I had no fridge in the room, so I couldn’t fully relax and enjoy my holiday. The hotel doesn’t have a spa, which is a shame. So I made a reservation online and got a massage in the Hammam spa a few minutes from the hotel)very expensive and not great). The closest one to the hotel was closed. The pool is gorgeous but in another building which requires another elevator to be taken at the ground floor. A bit of a hassle…The gym is basic but good. Gets pretty busy and dirty at the end of the day. There are many nice restaurants nearby and even a small Proxi shop. There is a bus stop 1min away, that goes to the Terrace du Port. And the taxi conveniently dropped me off right in front of the hotel. The Mucem and Cosquer caves visible from the hotel, are a bit pleasant 25min walk away and the well worth the visit. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, and would come again if the above issues were resolved."

"Very nice hotel, good services . Great location right on the old port. Beautiful view. Close to tourist office for buying tourist package card. Very good location for travelling by buses metrols and tramps. The during stay , there was christmas market right next to Hotel. That was the bonus"

"This place is nice for a night. Not really near anything of importance, but if needing a place to stay before heading to the airport it's ideal. Near some restaurants in a seemingly dodgy part of town. The parking is a bit odd. I got stuck in the private parking for the apartment complex next door. When going into the parking stay to the left side. There's a nice pool and dining area to relax. Rooms are of great size and comfort. Very affordable in terms of a Crowne Plaza. Very good staff, was given a free upgrade. I highly recommend."

"Second stay at this hotel. Convenient for when traveling to / from the cruise port or airport. The hotel itself is very nice, small but great character and good facilities. We had a double floor mezzanine family room. Great room with comfy beds, clean, good amenities and nice bathroom, fridge, coffee machine etc so everything you need. There are two big downsides to this hotel that are out of their control. The old big French doors / windows look great but are not good at all for sound. We were on the 5th floor and heard cars, sirens, mopeds and people until the early hours and this does impact sleep. The second thing is the area, not a pleasant place at night. Lots of Homeless, rough sleepers and not a welcoming place. For us, simply going there to sleep and be comfortable and have a nice room it was good and we’d stay again, but it is expensive when you consider the area and noise at night vs some other better located hotels in Marseille"

"Hotelli on myös erittäin ystävällinen ja tervetullut, ja me arvostamme sitä.   Me olimme kuitenkin melko pettyneitä yhteisten alueiden puhtaudesta. Hallit johtava polku ei tyhjentynyt useita päiviä, ja käytössä puuvillan lautas pysyi siellä kolme päivää ennen poistamista. Tämä antoi yleisen vaikutelman laiminlyönnistä.   Huonemme oli tilava ja mukava, mutta pesu- ja pyyhkeet olivat pukeutuneet ja tarvitsivat korvausta. Se parantaisi kokemusta huomattavasti, jos ne uudistettaisiin. Lisäksi käytävä olisi voitu pitää yllä ja puhdistaa huolellisesti perushygieniastandardien noudattamiseksi."

"The room was nice and clean although it was basic. Yhr room was not prepared on time and desk staff seemed stressed. When we went to the pool the door was locked behind us and we had to call over staff from thr restaurant to let us back to the hotel. The staff were polite and tried hard. "

"I’ve stayed in this hotel chain before, in Dubai, this hotel was also lovely! My flight landed at 9am and I was very lucky that they allowed me to check into the room as soon as I arrived to the hotel!"
