Liyu Yousu is located next to the bustling theater and wubu town in Yangshuo County, about 1km away from the well-known West Street, about 1km away from Shili Gallery scenic spot and 850m away from Yangshuo bus station. The surrounding scenic spots have Yulong River, eternal love, impression of Third Sister Liu, Ruyi peak, Yinyan and so on. The transportation is very convenient. All rooms of the hotel are designed with the functional layout of the resort hotel, with independent shower, dry and wet separation and open toilet, which solves the problems of daylighting, ventilation and exhaust. It is more convenient and comfortable to use and more fashionable in sense. In terms of decoration style and soft clothing, it is more simple and fashionable, so that you can have a leisurely and comfortable after high-rhythm work, and have beautiful company with your family during the holiday life.
"The hotel is located near the city center. I think the hotel is good for this price and I loved the bathtub. But the only problem is that my window was directly facing the trash station which was not a good sight plus the trucks made a lot of noise that disturbed my sleep very early in the morning.
The receptionist was really kind and friendly. She helped with my DiDi order and responded to messages on WeChat quickly.
I’ll definitely stay in this hotel again."

Everything about Liangsu Hotel in Yangshuo exceeded our expectations. The service from the staff was absolutely impeccable—everyone was so warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It didn’t feel forced or “hotel-like” at all, just very natural and thoughtful. They really go above and beyond to make your stay special.
The room was something else. Waking up to that view every morning honestly felt unreal—it’s like living inside a painting. The design is beautiful and calming, and every detail in the room felt carefully thought out. It’s one of those places where you actually look forward to spending time in the room.
One really unique touch we loved was the complimentary 30-minute travel photography session. It’s such a thoughtful experience, and the setting makes for incredible photos—you’re basically surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. It’s a small detail, but it made the stay even more memorable.
The whole hotel has such a peaceful, dreamy atmosphere that makes it really hard to leave. It’s quiet, scenic, and just feels very special compared to a lot of other places we’ve stayed.
We’ve stayed in many “luxury” hotels before, but this one stands out because it combines stunning design, nature, and truly genuine service.

"Perfect location with excellent views of the Yulong river. Also within walking distance to one of the bamboo raft docks.
The hotel staff also offered well priced private tours (buggy with driver) which I used on one of the days to sightsee along Yulong River and surrounds e.g. Moon Mountain, Shili Gallery, lunch in one of the villages, cafe spots etc. The friendly receptionist also helped book tickets in advance so I didn't need to line up when I got to Ruyi Peak (just show passport and enter)
Chinese style breakfast was included - hot and delicious noodle soup with egg, fruits, tea. Perfect for a day of exploring!

"Amazing service, from the get go, upgraded my room. Then I spoke with Nini the receptionist and she gave me tips and suggestions on what to do. Not only that got me discounts, stayed in contact with me even when she was off work, and wasn’t obligated too; absolutely amazing and lovely people. The room was lovely had a bidet toilet like Japan, I was missing those. Beautiful view too!"

Parking facilities are available near the hotel, including conference room, coffee shop, western restaurant, small bar, viewing pool, wanghong viewing terrace, the most beautiful sunrise viewing angle of Yangshuo (the first bay of Lijiang River), bamboo rafts on the wharf, lights on the fishermen's house, and wanghong shooting scene, which records the wonderful time in Guilin.
"Our first impression was that the hotel staff are very enthusiastic & efficient. One young lady just came out as soon as we alighted from the taxi & quickly to our luggage to the lobby. Talk about quick service! Our room was great with river view - the balcony space with 2 comfy chairs & a round table made it a very nice place to sit to have a drink whilst looking at the beautiful views. The complimentary afternoon tea was a surprise & it was a real treat to sit at the rooftop enjoying the views plus photo spots. Breakfast was good! You can eat outdoor with a view of the river & mountains. Staff are very kind to ask & check if you need anything. Housekeeping staff also very polite & communicate well.
The young lady recommended their restaurant (under same company) just opposite the hotel for dinner & it was the right choice! We enjoyed the dinner so much & we went again the next day for lunch. Restaurant service was great & hotel guests gets a discount on the bill. Upon checking out, we were served by Jessica who helped us to bring the luggage to the taxi & warmly bade us goodbye. Overall an enjoyable trip to Yangshuo made even better by the wonderful staff of this hotel!!"

"Super best hotel because they have BIDET. We need it so much. It is located near a local market. We bought a lot of orange fruits which taste soooo sweet & good. The kids like it so much. A lot of local foods restaurants around the hotel. Its also within walking distance to the spot in the 20 rmb bill. The family room has a very good view from the window. We can rent a bike from the hotel for 20 rmb a day. The host are very friendly & nice. Thank you very much"

"Very friendly staff. They were extremely helpful advising what to see and do. On arrival we checked into a very large room but unfortunately it was on the ground floor with no privacy. The inn responded promptly to our concern and switched us to the 2nd floor in the main building. We were very grateful for that arrangement."

"We had a great stay at TUI Blue Xiangheli Hotel in Yangshuo and would highly recommend it, especially for travelers looking for a modern, design-forward hotel experience in the area. The rooms were a standout—extremely clean, thoughtfully designed, and very modern with a high-end feel. Everything felt new and well-maintained, which made it easy to settle in right away.
Service was equally strong. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the stay, which made a noticeable difference in the overall experience.
The breakfast buffet exceeded expectations. There was a wide selection of both Chinese and Western options, and the quality, presentation, and variety were all impressive. It felt well-curated rather than generic, which you don’t always get with hotel buffets.
One of the most unique aspects of the property is its amenities. The hotel offers a range of experiences you don’t typically see—spaces for calligraphy, a rock climbing area, and even an on-site cave to explore. It adds a layer of character that makes the stay more memorable.
Design-wise, the hotel is beautifully executed. There’s a clear attention to detail across every floor, and the overall aesthetic feels intentional and cohesive. The pool and rooftop garden were highlights. Both offer incredible views overlooking Romance Park, including the iconic three-headed statue and the surrounding karst mountains, which are especially striking when lit up at night.
That said, there are a couple of things worth noting. Because the hotel is directly across from Romance Park, there is noticeable noise from the park’s performances in the early evening (roughly 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM). Additionally, there is ongoing construction on the opposite side of the hotel. While it didn’t take away from the overall experience, it may be a consideration for anyone specifically seeking a very quiet, retreat-style stay.
Overall, this is a beautifully designed, amenity-rich hotel with strong service and standout views—just go in knowing it’s in a lively area rather than a secluded one."

We like how the style of the hotel reflects and complements the natural beauty of the area. There are abundant amenities and plenty of activities to pursue just around the property. It’s perfect for people who want to enjoy the beautiful pristine Shanshui of Guilin uninterrupted.
We travelled with our extended family of 7 and everybody had a great time (especially our 2yo). The hotel is very kids friendly and the staff are wonderful. The swimming pool is immaculate and well equipped. We were also happily surprised by the quality of the food provided at the hotel. The ingredients were local and super fresh and the beer fish was very tasty. We ended up eating most of our lunches and dinners at the hotel.
The room itself is gorgeous. We woke up everyday bathing in the morning sun with unobstructed views of the breathtaking Shanshui along the Yulong river! If you wake up early and go to the top floor, you will be rewarded with a special bonus!
We are already looking forward to our next trip to Yangshuo and Xishi Jinshe!

The electric scooter rental is great and the price is also good.
Location is beautiful, stunning, magnificent and breathtaking! You cannot go wrong with the view in this location and what this hotel has to offer you. There are also many attractions and view points in the location.
Breakfast had a nice touch to it and you get a few options,mainly western but also their local noodle dish which you can have for breakfast a great way to experience a different culture.
If you need to do laundry then they have the facilities for you to do so.
Over all I would come back for sure.

However, there was this one person whom I would like to highlight in the hopes that he can be better trained. One of the front staff, a young man with curly hair, kept singing when he pushed our luggages and he also sang a bit while at the counter. This is actually very unprofessional because the front desk staff represents the hotel to a certain extent. He was also quite unhelpful when we asked him questions as he would give a one liner statement and go back to doing whatever he was doing. The other staff at the counter had to step in to answer to our questions.
In terms of cleanliness and view, it was quite good. The view in particular from our windows was amazing and had a very peaceful vibe; you can see the surrounding mountains and the ambience of the room added on to the quality.

It’s a bit outside the ancient town, but we actually preferred it that way, especially since they offer electric scooters you can use to ride there yourself. This gives you a lot of freedom. We hiked through the valley and went to the starting point by scooter. You can also simply ride around and enjoy the amazing landscapes on the scooter.
The room itself is lovely; the hotel is brand new and the view is absolutely stunning. If there hadn’t been a small road in front of the hotel, it would have been even more perfect. The staff (we believe it’s a family) run the hotel together, and that really sets it apart from other hotels in town. Breakfast is cooked with vegetables freshly picked from their garden, and you can also enjoy delicious homemade dinners here. With the help of a translation app, communication was smooth, and they also picked us up from and dropped us off at the train station.
Overall, it’s a beautiful, clean, and modern hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere thanks to the people. Thanks again!

LLeonie WigleyI had a wonderful stay here. Highly recommend this place. The owner is very helpful, friendly and happy to help! The staff are also great. I arrived In Yangshuo by boat and could not get a taxi for some strange reason, maybe due to roadworks and very busy time of day, as a result I quickly contacted them and asked if there was another way to get there as I could not get a taxi, and instantly got a response that the boss will come pick me up and in 5min the owner had come and picked me up from my location . The homestay is very close to Yulong river and bike rentals and electric scooter rentals are offered at affordable prices and it has a beautiful ride along the river , bamboo rafting is close-by too. The owner is very friendly and knowledgable and quickly gave me recommendations and suggestions of activities best to do nearby and how to get there. On my last day the owner also gave me a ride to the shuttle bus for Longji, refused to let me take a Didi! Very hospitable, Kind and good energy. The room was more spacious than expected. It was big, clean and great view! Definitely worth a visit and Ill be going back for sure. 😌

We booked a family room with a bunk bed, which was comfortable and suitable for families. Overall, everything was good and well-maintained.
One downside worth highlighting is that the toilet glass partition has been removed, so sounds from flushing, hand washing, and showering are quite loud. The bed head is located just above the toilet area, so it can be disturbing at night. Also, when using the bathtub, be careful as water may splash onto the bed area.
Aside from this issue, our stay was pleasant and the location is a big plus, especially for first-time visitors to Yangshuo.

The owner greeted us when we arrived and shared her extensive knowledge of tea while pouring us endless delicious cups. She also recommended places to hike and eat. The rooms are lovely, super comfortable beds with stunning views. The amenities are wonderful, a beautiful pool in a tranquil courtyard, hot-tubs upon request, discounted tickets to numerous local attractions, and an excellent breakfast - to name a few. There are also cocktails served in your room from 8pm to midnight. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, always smiling and offering drinks or snacks. We loved every minute here and I would have liked to stay forever.
While it is outside of town, don’t let that deter you. Yangshuo proper is a short Didi ride away. The hotel also has electric scooters for rent, which are great fun to zip about on. There are many lovely restaurants just a few minutes away, especially the farmer’s restaurant across the street and Lulu’s restaurant just a short distance down the road. (Try the 苦瓜 - bitter gourd stuffed with pork - it’s AMAZING!!!) Give this beautiful hotel a try, you won’t regret it!

VVieraskäyttäjäWe chose the Superhouse by the Li River because we had previously stayed at a resort by the Yulong River and were looking for a bit of variety – and it definitely did not disappoint.
The property is truly impressive: a converted former factory with a spacious layout and many interesting buildings. It’s a highlight in itself, especially if you are interested in architecture and design.
The view of the Li River is fantastic, and the pool is great as well – although it is not heated, so you need to be a bit brave in spring.
The rooms are exceptional, with high-quality materials and a strong focus on design and detail – truly impressive.
One small downside was the bar: even when it wasn’t very busy, the music was quite loud, even in the late afternoon. The drink selection was somewhat limited, and it seemed that the bartender was not extensively trained – but these are minor points.
Dinner, on the other hand, was excellent – very high quality and absolutely enjoyable. The next morning, breakfast was also outstanding, with a great selection and excellent quality – nothing was missing.
Overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth recommending. The location is a bit remote, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere, but it also means you’ll usually need a Didi to reach other restaurants. However, that’s easy and inexpensive in China.
A must-stop.

JJKobeyLocation was excellent. Easy 10-15min walk to the West Street area and short 10min drive to Ten Mile Gallery. It's a few blocks from the main road so much quieter. The room and facilities were very clean. The view from the sky deck was beautiful. Electric scooters can be rented downstairs. Breakfast was ok.

The breakfast was excellent, and the location was ideal for discovering the beauty of Yangshuo.
As frequent travelers exploring destinations across the globe, we can confidently state that the negative reviews do not reflect the reality of this property. In terms of value for money, it is among the very best we have experienced so far on our 2 year trip — truly, it would be difficult to find anything better than this.
We highly and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
