Rooma Hostellit

"The hostel is quite central, very close to the transport hub, but it's on the 'other' side of the sights. Other reviews say that it's in a 'sketchy' area, this is true, there is a lot of graffiti around the hostel, but I personally saw no trouble at all, felt safe at all times. The hostel itself was clean and welcoming from the outside. Under my bed sheet there was blood, which was a bit unsettling, I didn't raise the issue, as I doubt anything could be done. Some staff are helpful, some definitely are not, the night-time staff are moody, daytime were fine. The roof top bar was closed, only open during the summer months apparently. I personally felt the bar area needed a bit more atmosphere, it was never busy throughout my 4 nights there, I feel the hostel may have missed a trick there. Overall, it was a good hostel, not perfect, but you get what you paid for. The rooms were tidy and well maintained. I had no issues with the 3 other strangers in my room. Would I stay at this hostel again? Yes, as it was good value for money, in a central location, but certain staff definitely need to be more approachable and not loo .as though they will phone in sick the next day."

"The room had everything I needed. It was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a little small but useful. However I couldn't get TV to work. Hostel is about and hour far from the center. It is not close to the metro station but there are many buses. It was a great deal for its price. I enjoyed my stay here."

"The location of the hotel was very nice. If you like walking, this will be an advantage. The reception is very friendly. They helped me both at night and in the morning when my phone broke down. The rooms and bathroom were clean. You don't need to bring a cabinet lock. I only deducted my score because we purchased towels and soaps with fee."
