"Spent 3 nights 2 rooms with family of elderly people. Although it’s a bit old style design but the rooms are clean. Ceiling is low and lift is small. Location is convenient with 15 minutes walk to Tainan train station, and lots of restaurants nearby.
Price included breakfast and tea meal. We are impressed with great varieties of breakfast food including ********* food, love the sweet potatoes, different kinds of fruits, soy milk and rice milk. Appreciated a staff kept cooking the eggs and delicious egg pancakes! Love the ********* snacks provided for tea time. Staffs refilled quickly and rotated different dishes everyday!"

"Excellent value for money. Considering the price, the room was very well equipped, and even came with a large bathtub. There is also a direct bus from Tainan train station that stops right at the hotel.
I got the windowless room, and despite being on the 3rd floor, I couldn’t hear any traffic noise. Really pleased with the room.

"Yövyin täällä viime vuonna ja ajattelin palata samaan paikkaan. Ei aivan niin hyvä kuin muistin, mutta hintaansa nähden hyvä.
Ensivaikutelma huoneesta oli, että se oli loistava, paitsi että siivous ei ollut aivan kohdallaan - ensimmäinen asia, jonka näin kylpyhuoneessa, oli käytetty hammastikku lavuaarin vieressä ja isolla tuolilla oli kaksi kuollutta hyönteistä.
Muuten varustelu on hyvä, mutta en muistanut television olleen näin huono. Varattu jonkin vanhanaikaisen antennin kautta, eikä yksikään kanava ollut HD. Jopa HD-logolla varustetut kanavat olivat SD-laatuisia ja epätarkkoja. Kaikki muu on hienoa ja kätevää, että heillä on kaksi pesukonetta ja kaksi kuivausrumpua (ilmaiseksi lukuun ottamatta 30 dollaria pesuaineesta), vaikka yksi henkilö oli varannut molemmat kuivausrummut, joten jouduin odottamaan kauan ennen kuin pääsin käyttämään kuivausrumpua.
Sijainti on fantastinen. Helppo kävellä useimpiin nähtävyyksiin, ja se on aivan keskellä monia hienoja ruokapaikkoja, vaikka useimmat niistä tuntuvat aina olevan kiinni!"

"Hotel Tainan sijaitsee erittäin mukavasti junaaseman takana ja on paljon ruokaa ja ostoksilla alueella. Hotelli aamiainen on myös melko hyvä levittäminen ruokaa, mutta joitakin ruokaa toistetaan. "The hotel is really nice. Clean and tidy. It is fairly close to both bus and train stations. It is fairly accessible. The room was neat and tidy and had everything needed. It was modern and everything was great. The breakfast was delicious. However the staff at the hotel were not adept handling foreign tourists. However, the language barrier was overcome by their friendly and helping nature."

Had some issue with our hotel room key. The staff were very proactive trying to resolve the issue, but it was only till the 2nd day of our stay that was resolved.
There was no compensation for the incovenience caused as we only had 1 phisical key for 4 ppl.
Having said that, the rest of the service was very nice, would be happy to go back again.

VVieraskäyttäjäHotel is super stylish, fitting in with the retro, yet trendy vibe of Tainan. From the lobby with LPs to the the 8th floor, all the amenities and thoughtful design was top notched. On the 8th floor, you have a small functional kitchen to eat your street food. It also has a free arcade which brought back childhood memories....Pac Man, Street Fighter. We also used the laundry facilities and the free 24 hr coffee machine. The vending machines were filled with local drinks. Whilst the room itself was on the small size, it was tastefully decorated with a large sitting area (despite its small size). What was super thoughtful were the booklets describing all the streetfood stalls in the area, the owners stories and a newspaper which profiled some of the owners. The sweets and the filter coffee and paper disposable and eco friendly plates, bowls and cutlery as well as kettle were the magic touches. It just goes to show that they thought about all the little things to make this place unique.
We had a drainage issue in the shower but it was fixed immediately showing the responsiveness of the staff. Whilst perhaps a little inexperience, the staff were friendly, eager to help and extremely sincere. Post checking out, I wanted to point out that we were granted the use of the facilities on the 8th floor which allowed us to shower, have a place to rest and enjoy the hotel of the rest of our afternoon. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!

LLim567Jai Chateau Hotel and Hostels is strategically located in Tainan, with many local food options nearby—especially famous Tainan beef soup. It is also close to popular tourist attractions such as Chihkan Tower, Shennong Street, and the National Museum of Taiwan Literature. Tainan Railway Station is within walking distance, about 800 m away, which makes getting around very convenient.
The hotel is very suitable for solo travellers. The room is clean and well-organized, with six people sharing one room separated by curtains, providing good privacy. Both the room and shared bathroom can only be accessed with an access card, ensuring safety and privacy. The shared bathroom is well equipped and even has a Dyson hair dryer, which is a nice surprise.
There is a common space where guests can eat their food and relax. The hotel also provides free tea-time snacks and supper from 3 pm to 9 pm, featuring tasty Taiwanese-style food. Additionally, there is a game area where guests can play and socialize. Overall, it’s a comfortable and thoughtful stay, especially for solo travellers.

Ppathfinder1We had a great stay at Kindness Day Hotel! It’s small but sleek and modern, with a cozy vibe. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially for us English speakers, which made everything so easy.
The lounge with unlimited coffee and cookies was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. You get a free drink ticket each night for beer or juice, which is a nice perk. Just be sure to use them the same day as they expire. We didn’t get a chance to use ours!
The breakfast buffet was decent, not amazing, but still a nice option to have. With a bus stop and bike station right outside and plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby, it’s a super convenient and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommend!

VVieraskäyttäjäwe had a very comfortable stay there. the location is central (but you will require a taxi from the train station if you have more baggage), walkable to many places. there was a big breakfast spread (local twist on the buffet spread) with good food, but be prepared for crowds since it is a large hotel. the room was relatively spacious for 2.

Enjoyed the public hot springs (room came with 1 coupon) and the personal room hot springs). Booked Tuscany room and the hot springs are located outdoors, you can still do a nude dip but take note that there are other rooms above you, can wrap a towel from the room the pools. Room itself is smaller than expected but quite decent. Some flies around but otherwise good.

NNg mamaThe hotel is old and it shows. There are many pools in the onsen area and guests are required to wear swimsuits and swimming caps. The rooms look like they have to renovated but all public area and pools are aged and cleanliness can be improved. The selection at breakfast is basic but it is fair for what we were charged. The receptionists at the front desk are very nice and helpful.

the room is slightly smaller than it looks from the picture provided but its of comfortable size
the hotel provides soap n shampoo thru dispenser though they no long provide one time use bottles.. toothbrush is provided too.. the hotel has bicycle for rent...there is a park juz outside the hotel, abt 5mins out..
i see many reviews abt the hotel breakfast half good half bad.. dun expect wide spread.. porridge, salad bar, cooked food and toast are available... drinks like hot cold tea, coffee, milk are oso provided.. the menu changed slight on the the days we were there but still relatively good.. macdonalds is outside along the road abt 15mins walk.. can take a good walk at the park and head out for breakfast too
location of the hotel is slightly inside a residential area not in sight from outside the road.. quiet and serene
oh they have ample parking lots underground the hotel or juz outside the hotel @ a low hourly rate
