"Vanha mies kapteeni Hostel on voittamaton sijainti TRA Tainan Station edessä, joten se on erittäin mukava matkustajille. Kuitenkin sisäänkäynti on hieman hankala löytää, koska se on sisällä FamilyMart asemalla, joten se vei minut jonkin aikaa selvittää, miten päästä sisään. On myös Ubike asema lähellä, joka tekee tutkia kaupunki todella helppoa. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen ja puhui englantia hyvin, mikä teki sisäänkirjautumisen ja yleisen viestintä sujuva. Makuuhuoneessa vuoteet olivat melko perusasiassa, ja huone itsessään oli melko pieni. Se ei ollut tarkalleen likainen, mutta se ei ollut myöskään erityisen puhdas. Jos etsit vain paikkaa, joka romahtaa yö tai kaksi, se tekee työtä, mutta älä odota mitään fantasiaa. Yleensä hyvä vaihtoehto talousarviomatkustajat, jotka painottavat sijaintia muoti."

"Ikkunatonta huonetta lukuun ottamatta se oli siisti ja mukava. Huone oli tilava ja kylpyhuone siisti, mutta tiskiallashana oli jäykkä, mikä vaikeutti vedenpaineen säätämistä. "Room is spacious and clean. No check in counter so you have to contact the owner and arrange. The location is a bit far from the center yet it only takes 30 min walk to Yuguang Island. Overall it’s a pleasant stay!"

"因為關子嶺溫泉區內的酒店覺得有點貴，便選擇這間性價比好的旅店，由於是自駕遊所以稍為遠一點溫泉區也冇所謂，純粹過去泡個温泉吃個晚飯便回來睡覺，店主以藝術氣息佈局也很有意思呀，旅店外觀有點像藝術品外型設計，空地有藍球場及草坪，令人心曠神怡，房間非常乾淨衞生，我住在地下房間，早晚都能聽到外面蟲鳥的美麗聲音，令人暫忘鬧市的密集，下次定會繼續光顧，謝謝老闆的熱情款待！"

"地點離海安路非常近非常方便，有特約停車場可以折抵部分時數，房間乾淨，但四樓房間隔音好像不是很好，電梯會直接到達住宿樓層沒有額外的門。"

"The hostel is easy to reach from train and bus station walking around 30 minutes. The front desk staff are very professional and have good online check in form. The sitting area is quite good and traditional and have a reasonable pantry with free hot drinks and some snacks. The dorm rooms are of good size with large spacious bed with curtains. The shower and toilets are on different floors and are reasonably clean. The building looks quite a traditional structure and you need to climb several steps and the staircases are very long and narrow. If you have many luggage and suitcases you will have a good workout in reaching your room. Overall the place gives a good traditional experience of Tainan and Taiwan and its worth the money charged. The location is the most ideal and you can walk to nearly all important tourist places from here. They also provide their own folded direction map. This was for me the best professionally managed owner managed hostel I have ever stayed in and you really feel immersed in Tainan staying at this Hostel."

"這次入住的整體體驗相當不錯。旅館的環境整理得很乾淨，也能感受到用心維護的氛圍，讓人住起來十分舒服與放鬆。雖然因為是老屋改建的關係，隔音效果沒有新式飯店那麼好，但其實在可以理解的範圍內，並不會影響整體的住宿心情。反而覺得老屋本身也多了一些溫馨與獨特的味道。服務人員的態度也很親切，特別是在退房時還貼心地送上餅乾當作小禮物，讓人感到很驚喜，也為這次住宿畫下了一個很溫暖的句點。整體來說是一間讓人感覺放鬆又有人情味的旅館，如果有機會的話，未來也會願意再次入住。"
