"This area was nice to walk around and a lot quieter than Manila central but still easy to get in. You have to grab in which costs a few pounds. The room had plenty of space but no windows which was fine for us for one night. The bathroom was nice, the shower could do with a screen or at least a curtain as the water does go everywhere in the small space. The lady allowed us to check in early all though this was by mistake but was still a positive for us."

"Upon arrival, the security guard assisted us with our luggage, but no one offered further help until we reached the check-in area or when sending us up to our room. The check-in process was smooth, and we went straight to our room. As we walked through the corridor, there was a strange smell, but we chose to ignore it. The room itself was spacious and had everything we needed. However, cleanliness was an issue. There were stains on the bathroom floor, the non-slip mat was not very clean, and there was some dust around the room. We overlooked these at first. When it was time to sleep, the pillows had an unpleasant odor, which made me uncomfortable. They didn’t smell fresh, more like dust. Since it was late and my kids were exhausted, my husband simply covered the pillow with his clean shirt so we could rest. The next morning, I noticed stains on the bed sheets that were clearly not ours. They looked permanent, so I requested housekeeping. The towels also appeared old, no longer white, and while some of the extra towels we requested were acceptable, others were worn out. Parking was limited, with only a few slots available. Staff informed us that if the lot was full, we would need to pay for parking. When we returned to our room later, I was disappointed to find that the bed sheets still had the same stains. Housekeeping had only changed the pillowcases. Overall, the property itself was nice, but cleanliness needs significant improvement. For example, the brown stains in the bathroom should be addressed, the bathroom mat replaced, and the tissue box cleaned, it was black with visible dust and stains. On a positive note, the air-conditioning filter was clean, which I appreciated, as my previous stay elsewhere had been terrible in that regard. I’m not sure if I would stay here again. The only highlight was the staff, who were very accommodating and kind."

"What an amazing difference an experience compared to several years ago when I used to stay regularly at this hotel. The attention to detail is outstanding compared to it used to be. The check in and out is fast and efficient, greeted with a smile. They even welcomed me back, paying attention to the fact I'd been a previous guest. Want to leave your deposit via a card? No problem at all. No insisting that you go to an atm to draw our cash!! The buffet breakfast was plentiful and hot, with a good variety of both Western and Filipino dishes. The only thing missing was some lovely fried bacon.😎🙏 Staff in the restaurant were always on duty, ensuring that tables were clean quickly and efficiently. The chef and kitchen staff were always checking on the amount of food available for guests and refilling as quickly as possible. Every single member of staff from the pool attendant to the housekeeping to the front desk to the restaurant had a smile, even security were present, but not in your face. The only thing that could be improved, as always, is the issue with the elevators. It's something that is historic for this building and they take forever to service each floor. I know that they are maintaining the other elevators and I assume trying to get them back in fully functioning form. Once that happens, I believe that the experience will be 100 percent perfect. Sometimes you could be waiting for 10 minutes just to get the elevator to reach your floor and when you're trying to get downstairs to jump in your grab car that's waiting. It's no joke. One final little request that could make the experience a little better, is to update and refurbish the equipment in the gym. and put the aircon system back in fully working operation, And double cheque some of the water pressure issues with the showers at times. At times you would get hot water, other times you'd get lukewarm water. Sometimes it would be full force, other times it would be a dribble. These are minor issues though. And overall, my experience compared to previous times was outstanding."

"Such great value for staying in a vibrant area of Manila! The staff were very friendly and the breakfast is recommended in the lobby cafe (best meal we’ve have on our trip!). Our room was spacious with a huge comfortable bed and AC. The TV connects to YouTube, Netflix etc. If you like having something on whilst in the room. We were aware before staying that being in a built up area meant you could hear the noise outside and this didn’t bother us at all. The shower was cold and I’m sure had we minded the staff would have fixed it or changed room. But it was actually quite a welcome respite from the muggy hot weather!"

"I chose this hotel for 4 reasons . 1) I needed to contact someone in Makati 2) breakfast 3) parking 4) swimming pool. I arrived late from the airport and the staff were really nice. First time in Makati. There is nowhere to park in the streets so I was so relieved that they have complimentary valet parking that is a godsend. 5 stars for that. Breakfast is very good from 6.00 to 10.30. The pool is a refresher pool , not a lap pool, but it was most welcome. Towels are provided. Room? A bit smelly but not obtrusive. I slept very well so beds are comfortable. 7-11 and McDo within a minute or so, so that was really welcome. For those looking for nightlife, there is adult entertainment in the adjacent street. Overall? A very good place to stay. Thumbs up from me."

"Had a great stay at this hotel as always. This was my 4th or 5th visit and they never disappoint. The place was homey and inviting, location was superb, breakfast buffet was awesome and the room & bed were very clean & comfy - I slept well. The staff were consistently warm, professional and accommodating. Definitely 5 stars ⭐️."

"Beautiful hotel in the heart of makati, Stayed 3 nights, room was nice and clean, king size bed, bath and shower, everything you could ask for..Jake on the front door always friendly and helpful as were all the staff..The breakfast at the in house restaurant coca cafe was very good. As a 3star hotel I would say it is well worth the stay and we will definitely be coming back again"

"We found the hotel in a peaceful neighborhood. We have to pay Php2k for a security deposit in cash and reimburse right after checking out. Our main concern in our room was the cooling of the air-conditioning; we had it somehow ”fixed,” but it didn't reach our expectation for the coolest temp. All praise to the chef (in the egg station) for his friendly approach and assistance with the station foods."
