"With a last minute decision to visit Rotterdam with my son, we chanced upon Art Hotel. Modestly priced and right next to Maashaven, it took less than 10 minutes to reach from Rotterdam Centraal. Even we arrived late after 10pm, there was nothing to worry about as the hotel is right next to the Metro station and brightly lit! The reception was fabulously served by Nadia who upgraded us to a 4 bedder in 2 rooms. Room was clean, set at the right temperature and shower was hot and at the right pressure. Nothing to complain about!"

"City Hub pods are an ingenious idea particularly for solo Travelers, backpackers or those that have simple needs. As I was travelling with my 16 year-old son we had to share a pod which meant it became quite squashed however super cool idea, very clean, very comfortable, fantastic facilities, friendly stuff And on a lively creative and buzzing street. My only complaint was that until around 2 am and from 8 am, I could hear people walking about on the floor above me which was really disturbing when I wanted a good night sleep. Would use a city hub again for slick service convenience and great facilities but not sharing one!"

"The location: superb 15 mins on foot from the Rotterdam Centraal Station / 8 mins by Tram The metro station Eendrachtsplein is just right next to the hotel, and it’s just one stop away from the World Trade Centre. Walkable distance to the supermarket Albert Heijn or Dirk and the famous shopping areas called Lijnbaan 🛌Room: spacious and nice sound proof, my room is located on the 10th floor, can’t hear any sounds from the street / tram 🫠However improvement is needed for the hygiene, stains are found on the couch and the tv remote control is quite dirty. Can tell either the previous hotel guests had very oily hands/ like to eat chips/ popcorns/ biscuits while using the remote. I had to use the alcohol wipe to clean it before using it🤢 🛀Bathroom: hygiene is acceptable, shower gel, conditioner, shampoo, dryers are provided but not the tooth brush / paste. I brought my own so I didn’t ask for it. 🚿Sufficient water pressure from the shower and the bathtub did help me a lot after a long day. 🥋Bath rope and slippers are provided. There’re a mini fridge, coffee machine, and an electric water broiler. 🤢however I found there’re some sediments in the broiler so I just brought the bottle water from the supermarket instead. 🍞🥖🥐Breakfast: average to good, a wide selection of pastry, and cheese. With salmon, ham, sausages, scrambled eggs, hard/ soft boiled eggs, yogurts and some grannolas 💁🏻♀️Staff: attentive and kind - i didn’t wait for too long for check in, waiting time was just around 5 mins, since I arrived at around 12 and I just asked whether my room was ready and the reception was kind to help me to see whether early check in was possible! Lucky me, I could get my room earlier. - The reception also helped me to receive my delivery and stored it for me until I returned to the hotel. Thank you so much for helping me out. 🫤The day before the last day, I checked with the counter at the breakfast receptionist that she said she didn’t find my record for the breakfast on my last day (the check out day), she advised me to purchase for the extra breakfast, if I wanted. However, when I looked at my hotel booking that it’s included. so if you are also booked with the breakfast, make sure you double check with them."

"Se oli kamalaa. Hotelli oli remontissa saapuessamme, ja aula oli työmaa. Saapuneemme huoneeseen piti kävellä pitkä matka pienelle hissille. Saapuessamme huomasimme, että sitä ei ollut siivottu. Meidän piti palata henkilökunnan luokse kirjautumaan ulos, mutta he olivat hyvin pinnallisia eivätkä pyytäneet anteeksi. Uima-allas ja muut tilat olivat myös suljettuina remontin vuoksi. Ei suositella."

"I’m in love with this hotel. This time had just a basic room with no view due to fog. But shower in the room with glass . Huge windows and coat atmosphere around is just perfect"

"All is good, the only improvement is there is no hairdryer on the bathroom, which is quite normal in a hotel industry. Perfect location near the metro station, restaurant and to central station"

"Even though the staff was friendly, the inside of the hotel was a little dated, while well maintained. An absolute dealbreaker was the (not ordered!) wakeup-call at 7 am with an incredibly loud room telephone. The room Service not responding to calling ”not needed” and still entering in the early morning was also not nice. For the money paid I expected more, though might also just been unlucky circumstances."

"De locatie van dit H2otel was perfect. Erasmusbrug, Coolsingel, Markthal, kubuswoningen enz. Alles lag binnen paar 100 meter lopen. In de kamer hoorde je geen geluiden van buiten. Alleen het heen en weer lopen van gasten in de kamers. Maar dit was voor mij geen groot probleem. Bedden lagen goed en lakens waren kraakhelder. Alleen het was wel stoffig op de kamer. En de extra schoonmaak, zoals deuren en kozijnen waren al een poos vergeten. Ontdekt dat de inrichting van zelfde.type kamer niet overal.het zelfde is en kamer indeling bij de ene wat krapper lijkt dan bij de ander. Wij hadden mooi kamertje met melkglazen raam tussen douche en kamer waardoor het een meer ruimtelijk effect had. Voor nachtje Rotterdam verkennen is dit een ideale en betaalbare locatie."
