I received no explanation or guidance about breakfast and was treated in a cold manner, while white guests were clearly given friendly and attentive service. This difference in treatment appeared to be based on nationality or appearance, which was very disappointing. As a hotel that welcomes guests from many countries, I strongly hope the management will improve consistency and consideration in their customer service."

"場所はナポリ中央駅からすぐです。ただ昼でも治安が悪く見えるので女一人で来ましたが最初は少し怖かったです。でも周りに常に警察がいるので良かったです。スーパーマーケットはナポリ中央駅のバスターミナル側の方に行くとあり、値段も平均的なのでおすすめです。ホテルのアメニティはタオル、トイレットペーパー、石鹸、シャンプー1回分のみです。それ以外の冷蔵庫やコップ、歯ブラシ、ドライヤーもないので全て持参してください。シャワーカーテンもないですし、バスマットもないのでシャワーを浴びると周りが濡れます。ナポリ中央駅が近く、安いので、ホテル重視ではなく立地重視の方にはオススメです。ホテルに戻った時にリラックスしたい方や数日間の滞在はお勧めしません。1泊や2泊なら良いと思います。観光とリラックスもしたい方は港近くのホテルなどで探すと良いかもしれません。フロントの方々は皆優しくてとても親切でした。私は安心してホテルに帰ってこれました。 部屋の清潔感はあり壁やテーブルなども張り替えているようで、綺麗でした。エアコンもしっかり効きます。少しホテル自体がカビ臭いので、せめて芳香剤をあちこちに置いた方が良いかもしれません。 夜はホテルでリラックスしたい方はナポリ中央駅から直結でメトロがあるのでメトロでナポリ中央駅から少し離れた駅のホテルが良いかもしれません。"

"We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!"

"The hotel is small, run by some very friendly and helpful guys. Our room was big enough, very basic with a small TV, desk, tiny balcony and shower room. If we were just talking about the room and hotel itself, I would highly recommend it for the price. The location is great for the train stations. Apart from that the neighborhood is not great. There were *********** stood on the street outside our window and there were human faeces in the street. This isn't the fault of the hotel, but I feel that I should tell people as for some this may ruin their trip."

"Staying at Domis Vesuvio in Naples was one of the best travel decisions we’ve made. The location, just a short walk from the main bus station, made getting around the city incredibly easy. The property looked exactly like the photos — clean, modern, and extremely comfortable. What truly sets this place apart is the staff, they all helped us fell like we were home. Sara and Ginevra are some of the warmest and most helpful people we’ve ever met while traveling. They were always available, ready to answer any question, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed. The restaurant downstairs where breakfast is served was another highlight of our stay. The food was absolutely delicious, the portions generous, and the prices very reasonable. The wine they serve is excellent and pairs perfectly with the dishes. The overall value for money far exceeded our expectations. We honestly cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Naples. Next time we visit, we won’t even look for another accommodation — we’ll simply wait until this one is available. Highly, truly recommended."

"Staff are excellent, the room is super clean and comfortable but lacks some basic amenities such as a kettle / complimentary bottled water, iron and a few basics. The location near the station can be a little rough but it wasn’t a problem for me but maybe I won’t recommended it for inexperienced travellers. Overall still good value for money"
