"The location is very convenient. The receptionist Apreriya is friendly and helpful. The room was comfy and clean, but there weren’t slippers and hair dryer. I had a nice rest there before moving to my next destination. That’s pity that the swimming pool is closed due to renovation until 25th August."

"Hotel room size is ok but we have issues with the linen. The bedsheets in one of our 2 rooms looked musty and old. My bathroom towels had a very musty smell, like they were not dried thoroughly after washing and so it developed a musty smell over time. One of the towels was also discolored. The new set of towels for the second night that we received also smelled musty. It could be the hotel’s laundry issue and would suggest the hotel management look into it. Also, we suggest providing small hand towels in the bathroom, so that guests might dry their hands after washing. The fitness room is very small and has limited equipment. Overall, I guess it’s what we pay for but the hotel can consider improving in these areas.
Hotel breakfast buffet had quite a good spread though and service was good. It cost IDR125,000 per pax."

"We had a good stay at Grand Whiz Praxis. The views from our room were great but although being on the 18th floor it was very noisy, be it the streets, the neighbours or some workers drilling and hammering at 11:30 pm. Also the rooms was quite illuminated at night from the windows and hallway. Breakfast was good.
The hotel seems quite new and is partly still under construction but is not really well maintained as many appliances show signs of usage.
Our stay was good but I would probably choose a different hotel the next time."

AAnonyymi käyttäjäWe checked in a little late yet staff was very accommodating. Our room was on the 26 floor and it was really spacious for 2 pax. There’s an iron steamer in the room and this is such a win for us who can’t live without iron even during a short trip. It will be better if they provide us the iron board though. Shampoo conditioner and body wash were provided and I wish they provide more hooks in the washroom. It’s a bummer that we only took video of the room but we couldn’t even upload the video here.
Went for a short workout in the gym in the morning before breakfast. They have treadmill elliptical bike some dumbbells and bench for you to do some press lol. They have a good selection of breakfast. We stayed so long so that we were able to try everything from the breakfast menu.
The best part of the hotel was that it is connected to the Pakuwon City Mall. Shopping made easy 🤭

JjetlaggerWestin Surabaya is a beautiful property with gorgeous views and amenities and impeccable service to match. The pool and surrounds are pleasant for swimming.
The Club room is very comfortable, quiet and feels fresh all round. The heavenly bed is such a delight to sleep in. The Club lounge is one of the most outstanding hotel lounges I have frequented. The views from the 39th floor are divine whether day or night. Service levels in the Club lounge are impeccable from each and every staff member.. so welcoming, professional with beautiful hospitality. Food selection, drinks and comfort all round. Nila and all of her lovely colleagues are truly at an inspiring level of excellence.

MMuzaharIt's an amazing hotel with excellent hospitality, almost all staff are helpfull and you can feel safe to stay here. The front desk is very helpfull as well and provide all the informaton needed.
The room is very clean and all functionaliry is working. The feel of stay is like at your home house.
Hotel facilities also very good condition and manageable.
It's a valuable stay.

First night due to my flight delay I check in around 10pm and I get a last room ( in front of the room is emergency exit ) very bad feeling when I step in the room, I feel “something” inside . Request to change but reception inform full house. Midnight my room keep got water sound , flush water sound !
Second morning I request to change room , 8pm finish work bck to hotel told me full ? I’m like ***? I requested to change in the early morning. One round of battle , I manage to change room , the boy told he help me take my luggage from old room, after 10 min , luggage that they sent to me is not belong to me!!!! Where is my baggage? After half an hour, my baggage is back to my room and they told me found it at the other room ??!! I got so many question mark in my mind . 11pm , a boy keep knock my dooor and call Ibu ibu……in the morning , housekeeping come in without knocking the door at 928am ! Thanks god that moment I’m done changing !
Third night : this is the worst night for me. Been awake by toilet water sound again ! But this time is different , I feel something not right and I’m so scared. I try to ignore , but I feel “someone” sit on the other side of my bed and I feel my blanket is grasp firmly to the left side（I slept at right side ) ! The following is 447 am someone knock my door again !
I on my light and dare not to sleep anymore !
Fourth night : no story as I only back to hotel at 2am , I leave at 6am to airport
Hotel location is really good , breakfast nice too .

Only 1 shortcomings: the door can't shield the the room from sound in the corridors totally, I can clearly heard the knockings and bell ringing from other rooms at night. But in general, it's still a quite decent hotel to stay.

Opposite was KFC and some local eatery so quite convenience for anytime need. We most of time using Grab hauling service when go out and come back. Satisfy to the stay. Thank you.

PPolka13This is actually a VERY COOL hotel. As someone who LOVE vintage things, I really appriciate this place. From their historical front building, their vintage styled room, all took me back to the 90s to early 2000. The NOSTALGIA 🥺. When I was little, my grandpa and grandma used to take me travel and stayed at hotels. So hotels like these have a special place in my heart.
Unfortunately, it looked like they really cut down the budget. Although they gave a very cheap price for their room (not more than IDR 250K including breakfast), on WEEKENDS?? But the towels were not white anymore and felt thin (not like other hotel towels), the sheets had tough spots, and no shower cap. But I loveddd the lemongrass soap and shampoo, and they were in dispensers so less plastic waste.
The breakfast was really sad. It was nice when I stayed here around a couple of years ago. But this time it was worse. Not too many options and looked empty. Really felt like they didn't put much effort. Well, what do you expect for that price? And I understand they might be in a very tight budget.
I noticed they added a ”Mini Zoo” signage. A staff warned me that there were not many animals yet. But I decided to go see it. Turned out it was located in the side of the parking road (but outdoor), there were fishes and a big avian animal (like chicken but different, I don't know what it was). And some parakeets in two separate cages, they were all dead 😭😭 I told a staff and they quickly removed the dead birds. Good idea but poor execution.
But anyways, location was top. Just a few meters across the street, there was a bus stop and you can hop on the Suroboyo Bus to go anywhere. And the hotel itself was in a main street of a hot destination (Old Town Surabaya), with historical buildings complex, also with the chinatown nearby.
I really hope they can survive this economy storm. I really love this hotel 🥺.

__evas_The service is excellent, they are kind, polite, and helpful. Smiles never left their faces and they always try to help swiftly. The breakfast is great, tasty, and the selection is even greater, they have a lot of varieties of Indonesian food. The room is great in size, the floor is clearly swept, the bathroom is clean, the amenities are adequate (bring your own hair dryer bcs the one they have is not as great). But terribly disappointed with the cleaners, I used the spoon and glass on day 1 and they didn't even bother to clean them, only put on the usual spot. I tried to ”tell” them again the next day yet they still haven't cleaned any 🥲🥲
