"We stayed at this resort recently and while the property itself is beautiful, our experience with service and communication was disappointing. From the very beginning, the front desk communication was poor. Even with a translator device, there was little warmth, courtesy, or effort to make us feel welcome. Given that we do not speak Chinese, language became a major barrier. We were not informed how best to contact the hotel for requests, and when we tried calling room service and reception several times, the calls were disconnected due to communication difficulties. Eventually, I had to go down to the front desk to express my frustration. At that point, one staff member, Xiao Jiang, kindly shared her WeChat and personally helped us with our requests. I sincerely thank her for her support and professionalism. At checkout, one room key was temporarily misplaced, and the front desk insisted we pay 50 yuan for the lost card. They made a big issue out of it, even though such matters are usually handled with courtesy. Thankfully, we found the card in time. This incident was not about the money, but about attitude and hospitality, which were lacking. That said, the hotel has a fantastic location, beautiful views, comfortable rooms, and an excellent breakfast. I would still recommend this resort to friends and family for the property itself.
