Osaka Hotels with Parvekkeita

My family and I have stayed in the hotel for two days for visiting Universal Studio Japan. The location is excellent! It's located right next to JR station. Onsen is on the top of the hotel. Lovely new hotel, I will definitely stay next time.

Close to subway stations, have several convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Quite neighbourhood.

We stayed at Tokyu Stay Osaka-Hommachi for two nights during the Osaka portion of our trip coming from Tokyo. This was my fourth time in Japan and my first traveling with my toddler, so efficiency and convenience mattered more than ever with his ADHD. This is very much a business-style hotel, and it delivers well in that category. Guests receive a complimentary two-hour voucher to a WeWork-style coworking space located upstairs near reception, which includes internet access and unlimited drinks and snacks. For business travelers, that’s a strong value add. I would come here again by myself. While the staff were not fully fluent in English, they used an advanced real-time translation system displayed on a screen at the front desk. Pretty cool. It translated conversations instantly, which was impressive and made communication smooth. The staff were friendly and professional. The interaction felt slightly less personal due to the language barrier, but that’s understandable. The complimentary coffee helped bridge that gap. 24 hrs staff as well. One standout feature was their handling of our luggage forwarding from Yamato Transport. The hotel received our forwarded suitcases and held them before check-in, then delivered everything directly to our room. This was extremely helpful because we arrived from via Shinkansen, continued on to Kyoto and Nara to visit the deer and temples, and only returned to the hotel later that evening. Not having to carry luggage through multiple cities made a huge difference. Those elevators are tight! During this Osaka leg, we visited Nara Park and Todai-ji Temple, enjoyed observatory views at Abeno Harukas 300 and the Umeda Sky Building, and took a day trip to Kyoto to see the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and Fushimi Inari Shrine. The hotel is about a 5–7 minute walk from three subway lines and is well positioned for accessing major attractions across the city. If you want to be more central try Namban or Umeda. With days averaging 12,000 to 15,000 steps, we often grabbed food nearby or I ordered through Uber Eats, which is surprisingly affordable compared to U.S. pricing. Options within walking distance included Matsuya, Yoshinoya, Saizeriya, and even high-end omakase sushi spots. The in-room washer/dryer was another major convenience since we packed light and relied on doing laundry mid-trip. Really wished there was a kitchen area though with dishware and utensils. Overall, Tokyu Stay Osaka-Hommachi is a practical, well-located choice for travelers who prioritize efficiency, transit access, and in-room laundry. It served as a solid home base for an active Osaka itinerary. I would come here again.

This is more like a serviced apartment rather than a hotel. Although there isn’t daily cleaning of the room, but whatever you need can be self served at level 1. Fresh towel and toiletries etc. Room is very spacious even for 2 adults. And there is a washing machine inside the room. Cons: -The building is right next to the train tracks, as in literally next to it, so for light sleepers this will definitely be a problem. We were lucky that our unit were facing the opposite direction and the view is pretty nice. - Location isn’t the best. It is not on the main Midosuji Line, so going to Shin-Osaka (Shinkansen station) or most attractions requires you to make a transfer. And the nearest metro station is a 5mins walk away.

Pros: 1. Room and toilet is clean and amenities are provided. Will not provide picture of the rooms as is exactly like in the picture. 2. Soundproof was actually good as there is a small balcony overseeing train station and I like the view of it. 3. Walking distance, approx 10 mins or more depending on your walking speed to Tsutentaku, Shinsekai or Donki. 4. I highly would like to say “Arigato” and praise the host for responding to all my questions before checking in and during my check-in progress (when I encounter issue). They respond to all my queries on time. 5. The train station located nearby has JR, Metro or Nankai lines, which can bring you directly to Minoh-Kayano Station, Tennoji, Namba, Umeda, Osaka or Kansai Airport. A proper planning is require to take your require train. Cons: 1. We have 2 medium and 1 small luggages and barely can open full 2 medium luggage despite having a closet. 1 small luggage can be open fully in the middle between the 2 beds but it will block the walking to the balcony (if require to go there). 2. The kitchen and toilet area, gets quite cold during the night and the heater cannot reach that area. Not sure if the floor has a warmer. 3. Despite there is a train station nearby, still require to walk approx. 8 mins above depending on your walking speed. If you are coming with JR train, there were no lift or escalator at the nearby exit to the stay. We had to carry all the luggages down till the exit. However, if you are taking Nankai lines to the airport, then no issue with the luggage as there are 1 lift operating at the nearby entrance. 4. The road at night gets quite lonely and scary if you are walking alone but I believe is alright in Japan. 5. No eateries/restaurants and convenience mart within the 5 mins walk. Overall, I enjoy my stay here and I always stay at this area during my travel to Osaka due to lesser crowd and convenience to reach airport. One thing to note, do complete all the pre-registration that the host has email you in order for a smooth check-in. Again, I would like to thank the host for the great hospitality and responding to my queries.

The location is excellent ,right in the heart of Shinsaibashi. There is a FamilyMart directly across the street, which is very convenient. The hotel is located just behind Fendi, with Lululemon right opposite. If you go shopping and get tired, it’s very easy to return to the hotel to drop off your bags and head out again. However, there are a few downsides. The hotel is quite dark overall, and there is no daily cleaning service. Towels are not replaced unless you specifically request it. Overall, this hotel is perfect for shopping and convenience, but if you prefer brighter rooms or daily housekeeping, you may want to consider this before booking.

Hotel was in a convenient location close to 711 and about 7minutes walk to Namba OCAT. There is a Cotties coffee shop right next to the hotel and the hotel was offering free vouchers for drinks when we stayed there. Room was spacious for our family of 4 and the bathroom was a plus with options of hot room mode to dry clothes over night. Washing machine and detergents, body soap, shampoo and conditioner were all provided.

The location is not far from the station. The staffs are very friendly and they gave us good recommendation for halal food as well during our stays.

Overall its clean, and the amenities are okay. The small hotel is near USJ and there are pay parking areas around. There's a supermarket with Daiso, and onsen walking-distance. The owner is chinese, but he was helpful when i had a difficult time entering the code. If you're a budget traveler like us, with kids, i'd recommend this small hotel especially when you want to go to USJ.
