"This boutique hotel stands out amongst the older architecture in the vicinity. A nice boutique hotel with well maintained facilities. Room was big and spacious, with four huge beds for family of four. Quaintly designed, with a homely feeling. Location is fairly good, although off the grid of downtown Osaka, but fairly easy to get to by way of Metro, with nearest station just a 3 min walk away. Service is impeccable, rooms made up every two days with refresh of towels, water and toothbrushes daily. Very comfortable stay."

"Was such an amazing hotel! I would highly recommend this and return!
My husband and I booked this hotel for our honeymoon and was astounded at the cleanliness and hospitality of the place. There was a drinks bar with really good coffee and green tea latte available throughout the day (for free). The bathtub was so clean and came with bath salts too!
This hotel is also affiliated with the Fanbi town group which allows you to shop in all 3 buildings (right next to the hotel)"

"The room was in the corner, and there was a little varanda, with a big glass window but very terrible view. I have requested a good view, but… And it was too cold…we need to open the air- conditioning in a very high temperature all night long.
There was only 1 small elevator, and in the morning, as the most of guests check out in the same time, we was waiting for the elevator , but it was full and have to go by emergency stairs to the 1st floor for check- out, and we get there before the elevator."

TTravel BananaMy family and I have stayed in the hotel for two days for visiting Universal Studio Japan. The location is excellent! It's located right next to JR station. Onsen is on the top of the hotel. Lovely new hotel, I will definitely stay next time.

XXLbaoWe stayed at Tokyu Stay Osaka-Hommachi for two nights during the Osaka portion of our trip coming from Tokyo. This was my fourth time in Japan and my first traveling with my toddler, so efficiency and convenience mattered more than ever with his ADHD.
This is very much a business-style hotel, and it delivers well in that category. Guests receive a complimentary two-hour voucher to a WeWork-style coworking space located upstairs near reception, which includes internet access and unlimited drinks and snacks. For business travelers, that’s a strong value add. I would come here again by myself.
While the staff were not fully fluent in English, they used an advanced real-time translation system displayed on a screen at the front desk. Pretty cool. It translated conversations instantly, which was impressive and made communication smooth. The staff were friendly and professional. The interaction felt slightly less personal due to the language barrier, but that’s understandable. The complimentary coffee helped bridge that gap. 24 hrs staff as well.
One standout feature was their handling of our luggage forwarding from Yamato Transport. The hotel received our forwarded suitcases and held them before check-in, then delivered everything directly to our room. This was extremely helpful because we arrived from via Shinkansen, continued on to Kyoto and Nara to visit the deer and temples, and only returned to the hotel later that evening. Not having to carry luggage through multiple cities made a huge difference. Those elevators are tight!
During this Osaka leg, we visited Nara Park and Todai-ji Temple, enjoyed observatory views at Abeno Harukas 300 and the Umeda Sky Building, and took a day trip to Kyoto to see the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and Fushimi Inari Shrine. The hotel is about a 5–7 minute walk from three subway lines and is well positioned for accessing major attractions across the city. If you want to be more central try Namban or Umeda.
With days averaging 12,000 to 15,000 steps, we often grabbed food nearby or I ordered through Uber Eats, which is surprisingly affordable compared to U.S. pricing. Options within walking distance included Matsuya, Yoshinoya, Saizeriya, and even high-end omakase sushi spots.
The in-room washer/dryer was another major convenience since we packed light and relied on doing laundry mid-trip. Really wished there was a kitchen area though with dishware and utensils.
Overall, Tokyu Stay Osaka-Hommachi is a practical, well-located choice for travelers who prioritize efficiency, transit access, and in-room laundry. It served as a solid home base for an active Osaka itinerary. I would come here again.

RR4TEDRThis is more like a serviced apartment rather than a hotel. Although there isn’t daily cleaning of the room, but whatever you need can be self served at level 1. Fresh towel and toiletries etc.
Room is very spacious even for 2 adults. And there is a washing machine inside the room.
Cons:
-The building is right next to the train tracks, as in literally next to it, so for light sleepers this will definitely be a problem. We were lucky that our unit were facing the opposite direction and the view is pretty nice.
- Location isn’t the best. It is not on the main Midosuji Line, so going to Shin-Osaka (Shinkansen station) or most attractions requires you to make a transfer. And the nearest metro station is a 5mins walk away.

1. Room and toilet is clean and amenities are provided. Will not provide picture of the rooms as is exactly like in the picture.
2. Soundproof was actually good as there is a small balcony overseeing train station and I like the view of it.
3. Walking distance, approx 10 mins or more depending on your walking speed to Tsutentaku, Shinsekai or Donki.
4. I highly would like to say “Arigato” and praise the host for responding to all my questions before checking in and during my check-in progress (when I encounter issue). They respond to all my queries on time.
5. The train station located nearby has JR, Metro or Nankai lines, which can bring you directly to Minoh-Kayano Station, Tennoji, Namba, Umeda, Osaka or Kansai Airport. A proper planning is require to take your require train.
Cons:
1. We have 2 medium and 1 small luggages and barely can open full 2 medium luggage despite having a closet. 1 small luggage can be open fully in the middle between the 2 beds but it will block the walking to the balcony (if require to go there).
2. The kitchen and toilet area, gets quite cold during the night and the heater cannot reach that area. Not sure if the floor has a warmer.
3. Despite there is a train station nearby, still require to walk approx. 8 mins above depending on your walking speed. If you are coming with JR train, there were no lift or escalator at the nearby exit to the stay. We had to carry all the luggages down till the exit. However, if you are taking Nankai lines to the airport, then no issue with the luggage as there are 1 lift operating at the nearby entrance.
4. The road at night gets quite lonely and scary if you are walking alone but I believe is alright in Japan.
5. No eateries/restaurants and convenience mart within the 5 mins walk.
Overall, I enjoy my stay here and I always stay at this area during my travel to Osaka due to lesser crowd and convenience to reach airport. One thing to note, do complete all the pre-registration that the host has email you in order for a smooth check-in. Again, I would like to thank the host for the great hospitality and responding to my queries.

NNrlzfraWent for a vacation with my partner. The owner was so helpful to keep our luggage while waiting for check in at 3pm. And she did explain and show us where the toilet and shower room is. The room not so spacious. But can fit both of us and 2 large luggage. Train station just 1 min away from the hotel. Overall, I love to stay here. And look forward to stay here again :)

Everything was way beyond my expectations.
In terms of location, it took me only 5 mins on foot to reach Osakako train station, Chuo Line. With your luggage, you may chose to walk up stairs or take an elevator to and down the train station. You can also visit the nearby shopping mall (Tempozan Market Place) which is located near a beautiful bay, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyuka, and a big ferris wheel. A local bus stop is around 3 minutes away.
Tax-free shops, Japanese restaurants, convenience stores (Lawson, 7-11, Family Mart) can easily be reached in the area.
For room condition, fortunately I believe the place has been renovated for less than one year, so everything is very nice and clean. I stayed with my parents for 4 nights. The beds were hygienic and comfortable which was a plus to when you were exhausted after long walking days. It has all the necessities you can ever think of such as refrigerator, power socket, adapter, air-con, wet wipes and amenities.
The check-in/out, door-lock, and entry systems require no staff or any unlocking devices/tools to pass which were very convenient and secure.
An elevator is in place. This is crucial!
The lobby has a luggage storage area (free of charge) and a pantry where you can borrow or use necessary kitchenware.
Its bathroom may not be that spacious, but very clean and good enough for a short stay.
For those considering this place and making decisions, I do highly recommend with this reasonable price offered.
