We stayed in Sudamala resort 6 days, and we spent a wonderful time. What was the best part of the trip? All! The stuff is incredible, supportive and helpful. As we are people who are passionate about the local culture, we asked them to find the place to visit and experience the local dance. They organized everything for us. I had a bad experience with jellyfish and decided to go to the hospital. They took me there and organized the car to brought me back. The food is like in the best restaurant, the room (beachfront) is big and clean, the pool is beautiful and I really enjoyed spending time together with my husband. I went to give a special thanks to Hubert who helped us a lot. Oh, I forgot, the hotel management organized a small cocktail party for some guests and exchanged our experience with the. With a glass of very good champagne. So, to make the long story short, Sudamala is the hotel with the soul and we will always remember our time there. Thanks!

Good - nice beach with decent house reef and interesting marine life - free equipment provided for snorkeling and water sports like kayaking, SUP - gym is small but complete with technogym equipment for both cardio and resistance training eg. Bench with free weights, home gym machine - I stayed in the premium beach bungalow; spacious, clean and comfortable with all amenities provided, it’s right in front of the beach but has very good privacy due to it being elevated, and has good view of sunrise - even at night you can do things like spotting marine wildlife along the jetty, star gazing because of its secluded location - good service Bad - breakfast is decent but lunch and dinner options need improvement - food tends to be heavy in flavour and carbs, seems like it’s catered more to local tastes Everything else is perfect apart from the food - you are essentially stuck on the island for the entirety of your stay due to infrequent boat rides (2 free shuttles a day) and tide conditions (no boat rides at night due to low tide), so do bring some food or adjust your expectations before getting to the resort

This resort is in such a beautiful setting. A perfect relaxing getaway where the team could not be more helpful. Not only did they make all arrangements for all or our day trips, but a member of the team even raced after us to the airport with some items we didn't even realise we left behind. Fabulous.

The hotel was quite good and thoughtfully arranged a quiet room for us, even though it is located very near the mosque. The location is super strategic, making it easy to access nearby attractions. Unfortunately, the weather at the end of December was not great, so we were unable to enjoy the beautiful sunset. The service was good, and the staff were able to resolve our requests within an acceptable timeframe. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, which we really enjoyed. The complimentary 15-minute leg spa was a lovely touch and made me feel very comfortable after a long day trip.

A comfortable stay for a night in Labuan Bajo. The room was clean, simple, and perfect for a short transit before our island activities. Location is excellent — close to the town center, cafés, and the seaside stretch. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly. For the price, it’s definitely good value. It’s also a convenient stopover before signing on to any liveaboard at LBJ Marina. We loved that it was walking distance to MimaMori LBJ for a healthy breakfast the next morning, and Kampung Ujung for dinner was still reachable on foot. There is also Cocamama Spa located at the rooftop of the same building, offering affordable treatments — definitely worth trying if you’re in LBJ. A fuss-free and strategic choice for travellers.

Горячая вода идет только 3-4 минуты, потом только обычная. Рады что остановились тут на 2 ночи и продлили еще на 2.

The location is fantastic. Walking distance to shops, cafes and harbour. The owner, Guissepe or Pepe, is very friendly and welcoming. His restaurant Baccala Bajo is busy with tasty Italian cuisine fron Sicily. The rooms are very clean, spacious and bed was comfortable. There is a fridge and a frypan to prep brekky if need be. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

An excellent hotel where everything is thoughtfully arranged for a comfortable stay. The rooms and the entire property were very clean and well-maintained — everything looked neat and pleasant. The water in the shower was always running well, and there was consistently hot water, which is especially appreciated after a long day. A special thanks to the staff: kind, smiling, and always ready to help — you can really feel that they care. We were especially impressed that they prepared breakfast earlier than usual for us because of our early tours — a small gesture, but it says a lot about their attention to guests. At night, it was quiet and peaceful, nothing disturbed our sleep, and the room had a cozy atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful and green, clearly well looked after. We were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to our friends. Truly well done!

One of the few resorts in Labuan Bajo that actually comes with its own beach. It was built in 2013, so while it’s not brand new it is only a little over a decade old.  We stayed two rooms for two nights — the whole experience felt relaxing and family-friendly. The resort appears well-maintained: according to recent listing info, it underwent renovations in 2023, which helps keep facilities and overall condition in good shape.  The beach area right in front of the resort is great for morning walks, kayaking, and even snorkeling. Honest feedback: though it’s a beautiful sheltered bay with clear water in the morning, there was unfortunately a noticeable amount of plastic trash along the shoreline. The natural setting is lovely — but the trash did dampen that much-anticipated beachfront vibe. A super helpful tip for future guests: on our last day we kayaked from Sylvia Resort across to a nearby beach area (near the private/restricted beach of a neighbouring property), and the water there — calm and coral-rich — felt like a small marine nursery. We spent about 40–45 minutes snorkeling there: that side-trip was definitely worth it. Overall, staff were helpful, the atmosphere peaceful (far from the busy town center), and the resort offered easy access to the jetty — very convenient for island-hopping tours. Nice, big room with the terrace and bathroom ( hot shower), Breakfast included with the booking. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed on 3 separate occasions and left our lagguage with no issue. We asked for hot water every day which was delivered to room. Very good place to stay for the price in Labuan Bajo.
