"Brilliant hotel. We had our own onsen in the room, they provide jasmine tea to add to the water which is great for your skin. Close to the station and there’s a massive mall within walking distance. We needed help tracking down some lost luggage at the train station. The manager went out of his way to help contact the station and follow up with them later in the day. His English was superb. Fantastic service! Highly recommend staying here."

"This is the hotel you should go to if you want good onsen facilities and great views from your room. The hotel staff were all friendly and meticulous. There were even lifeguards on duty at the heated swimming pools for both indoor and outdoor. Though it wasn't a private onsen room, the onsen facilities were easy to navigate to, and the room came with beautiful views. Their onsen facilities were clean, and came with a wide variety. The hotel had temperature indicated for each onsen, and all indoor onsen pools had different herbal onsens. The outdoor onsen pools were pretty interesting and fun too. One was for kids that came with a water play feature, the other one was a swirly pool for adults (the swirls were pretty strong, so make sure your child is supervised by an adult at all times). The changing rooms were also spacious and clean. There's also a vendor in the indoor heated pool and onsen area selling snacks and drinks. You have the option of sitting and lounging around with the tables and lounging chairs available. Our hotel room was very spacious and clean for our family of four. There are restaurants and convenience stores right beside the hotel, so meals and purchases were very convenient. The hotel restaurant and breakfast was alright, though not fantastic compared to better food choices in Chengdu. The hotel location is fantastic as it was just a 10-15 mins drive away to the entrance of Emeishan. Overall, though it was only a one night stay, we had a great experience and time here."

"The Wangle is a very comfortable hotel located in a great area- near shops, restaurants etc -but within easy access via a short taxi trip to the Giant Buddha scenic area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I really liked the relaxed vibe of the hotel. It was a shame that the pool pump was broken so the pool was closed - as it would have been nice to relax in the pool. Nonetheless, I thoroughly recommend the hotel as it has a nice feel and is excellent value for money."

"The receptionist kindly offered us an early check-in at 10 a.m., and we were also allowed a late check-out at 2 p.m. the next day, which was very much appreciated. The cleanliness was excellent, and the location is quite convenient. Breakfast is simple but sufficient, offering basic Chinese dishes. A bus stop is located just about 25 meters from the hotel, making transportation extremely convenient."

"My first stay at HUALUXE Hotel Leshan was beyond expectations! From the warm reception by Mr. Hu at the front desk, who kindly upgraded us to a room with a minibar, the accommodation was exceptionally quiet—perfect for families with kids. The breakfast spread was a delightful surprise, featuring abundant local Leshan specialties like tofu brain, ka bing (stuffed buns), and both spicy/non-spicy boboji (skewered dishes). A special touch came from Ms. Lucky Mu Jin, who thoughtfully gave our child bread and yogurt. "What a beautiful gem in the mountains. We stayed in the family themed room and it was lovely. Close to the sightseeing sites (The giant Buddha and Temples) and good Leshan restaurants. The receptionist was very helpful and made an effort to make our stay pleasantful. The hotel has an on-site restaurant and the breakfast was lovely. The cafe served ok-coffee and tea all locations are high up in the mountain so you can see a nice view. There is also a nice hiking trail on the property and the sights from the top are amazing. Great for families more amazing for couples."

VVieraskäyttäjäthe stay was so so good! firstly, before our arrival date, the hotel contacted us on both trip.com & wechat, so our transport to the hotel from emeishan station was smooth. check-in was fuss free as well, and the front office lady xiaoshi was kind, warm, and gave us tips for our trip up emei. we could borrow the hanfu and took pictures in the yard and around the hotel. the facilities were clean, nice, and overall really cosy. breakfast was really good too. and if you prefer to go up the mountain earlier, the hotel will also prepare some light takeaways for you, and thats super thoughtful i’ve read reviews that the location was not as good as those around baoguo; but since we were travelling as a family, this place was peaceful, slightly quieter and very near huangwan visitor centre! To me this was equally as good as hotels that are around baoguo. the trip up emei mountain was quick and fuss free as well, since I got the tickets and boarded the bus from huangwan (about a 5-7 mins walk away from the hotel) which is not much different from baoguo. will definitely stay here again if im visiting this area :))

VVieraskäyttäjäToo many things to compliment. The room is comfortable, clean and the view is stunning. Literally 2 mins walk to park's entry. I recommend you try their restaurant. I am still drooling over their chicken dish. It is super delicious and yet, feels home cooked and fresh. Their service is also excellent, answered and guided me on how to sightseeing in Emeishan. Very helpful. Not just the front desk, but every single hotel staff were welcoming. Too bad I only booked 1 night. I highly recommend this hotel. Definitely my first choice if I visit Emeishan again.

LLanJiangWe initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff. When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough. If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting. A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay. A small tip: If your goal is to catch the sunrise and sunset at Golden Summit, you'll need to stay at one of the mountaintop hotels near Jinding. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the professional and welcoming staff, setting the tone for a perfect visit. Due to some logistics, the hotel generously offered us a free room upgrade. The room itself was exceptionally good—spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The entire property is stunning, featuring beautiful ancient Chinese architecture that provides a charming, rustic feel while still offering all the comforts you could need. The service was a highlight of our trip. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, especially the delicious noodles which were a perfect start to our day. To top off the amazing service, the hotel arranged for someone to see us back to the Emeishan railway station and even kindly paid for our fare. This level of care and generosity is rare to find. We will definitely be coming back for another visit and highly recommend this gem to anyone traveling to the area!

BBernicetjmXiao Zhou and his colleagues provided us with exceptional service during our one-night stay at the hotel! They were very nice and friendly, attentive to our needs and requests, and chatted with us in an open and welcoming manner whenever we inquired about aspects of the local environment, Mt Emei, etc. We had dinner at the hotel during our stay and ordered the chef's recommendations. The food was AMAZING and so fresh. The fish and chicken dishes that we had came from live fish and chicken that they reared within the hotel compound. If they were a local restaurant back in my country, I would frequent them without a doubt, and would love to bring my friends to try their cuisine. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, Xiao Zhou even brought us to take a look at the hotel's chicken coop and fish pond. When we had to leave for our hike to Mt Emei's summit, Xiao Zhou and his colleague kindly drove us to the nearest bus station so that it would be easier for us to access Mt Emei's public transportation, a gesture which we appreciated a lot! All in all, their attentiveness to us, good manners, and warm and friendly dispositions all contributed to a memorable stay. Of course, the rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. Would love to come back here in the future!!

Although the hotel is just a few minutes’ drive away, this thoughtful service greatly enhanced the overall experience. Le Méridien Emeishan is positioned as a resort hotel with over 300 rooms. Since we arrived quite early, we initially thought we’d have to wait until the afternoon to check in. However, the hotel had available rooms and kindly allowed us to check in right away. The butler even gave us two cups of coffee and drove us around in a sightseeing cart to show us different room types. Although we had only booked a standard room, they upgraded us to a lake-view room with beautiful scenery. We really appreciate the hotel’s excellent service! Additionally, the butler gave us 10 bottles of water upon check-in, which was more than enough—no need to call for more during our stay. Facilities: The hotel grounds are quite large, and the buildings are low-rise. Guests staying in Building 2 may need to walk about six to seven minutes to their rooms. The hotel offers a lobby bar, reading lounge, gym, hot spring pool, swimming pool, and kids’ play area. The facilities are generally comprehensive, though the entertainment options may feel a bit limited for a resort hotel. The children’s play area includes simple slides, swings, and a small ball pit—fairly modest in scale. Location: About 2 km from Baoguo Temple and close to the shuttle bus station for Emei Mountain. Very convenient. Breakfast: Abundant and delicious, with the option to dine outdoors in a beautiful setting. Environment: The hotel is located next to Exiu Lake, surrounded by a scenic park with views of the Golden Summit (Jinding). The environment inside the hotel is also pleasant—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Overall: The highlight of this hotel is its outstanding service, which is undoubtedly the most important aspect for a resort. It would be even better if the facilities were more varied.

The restaurant was closed when we were there, so called gym does not exist at all, swimming pool is small like a pond and the bigger one is for kids. There is no garden or anything that covers the road and the bridge you can hear easily while staying down the swimming pool. The big bonus is the bathroom- big and modern exactly like on the picture and the spring water hot tub that works well and can create a great time during the night as you can hear the river. Light system is amazing. You can find any light that you need to set up a mood. People are very nice and friendly. The front desk does not have ‘ business card’ and location of the hotel was written down on a paper. Really little things that shows this place has a potential but not in the current set up. You can’t lock the room door when you are not inside- only the garden gate. Who would design such a thing? I know it’s a safe destination but still. There is no safe either. People create this place special but it does not meet a high standard resort score.

CClarudOur stay at this inn in Leshan was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, the kindest and most earnest lady welcomed us and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. She gave us amazing tips for dinner and visiting the Giant Buddha, which made our trip so much smoother and more enjoyable. The inn itself is a true gem. The rooms were spotlessly clean and thoughtfully designed, with heated beds and toilets that were perfect for the cool weather. Not many hotels out there with heated beddings and toilet seats. Not only that there is good heating with a radiator together with an air conditioner. The outdoor garden was another highlight—beautifully maintained and filled with fresh, vibrant greenery. It was such a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the morning air. What made the stay unforgettable, though, was the lady who runs the place. Her warmth and dedication are unmatched. Even when we tried to tip her to thank her for her hospitality, she gently refused, saying she was just grateful for each guest who stayed. If you’re visiting Leshan, this inn is a must. Between the cozy amenities, beautiful garden, and heartfelt service, it’s the kind of place that leaves you with wonderful memories. We can’t wait to come back!

I was on the 4th floor and didn't find it that nice in the sense that a mosquito still flew in and bit me during the night (you could hear it in the room). And because there's no solid wall separating you from the living room (there's just a shelf), there wasn't any way to effectively shut the mosquito out. The night porridge also came with a piece of hair in it so from that point on, I stopped asking for the nighttime porridge. The staff are not that nice and are actually quite rude. For example, the lady who made my milk tea and most of the front-desk staff with the exception of one. I have to shout out the shuttle driver; he was so incredibly friendly and really made me feel welcome, while everyone else made me feel like a hassle. My Chinese isn't that great but I try my best, and the lady who made the free milk tea acted like a burden when I asked her to repeat things and didn't even bother explaining what it was. They are not that friendly over WeChat either compared to other hotels I've stayed at. Again, I have to shout out the shuttle driver. I never got his name but he was so cheerful and nice.
