"Brilliant hotel. We had our own onsen in the room, they provide jasmine tea to add to the water which is great for your skin. Close to the station and there’s a massive mall within walking distance. We needed help tracking down some lost luggage at the train station. The manager went out of his way to help contact the station and follow up with them later in the day. His English was superb. Fantastic service! Highly recommend staying here."

The hotel is conveniently located a short 10km drive from Leshan Railway Station. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Le Shan Supine Buddha, Leshan Confucian Temple and Jiading Lane. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.
"Very zen looking hotel very near the entrance to the Big Buddha Scenic Area. We were upgraded to a room at the first level with a huge courtyard. Though nice, we did not have the time to enjoy the extra space. Both the shower and toilet doors are of translucent glass and has no lock. 4 bottles of drinking water and 3in1 coffee are provided in the room. There's a small washing machine in the room but without full dryer function. Hotel compound is nice. Complimentary afternoon tea is actually self service biscuits, nuts and Chinese tea. There is also a free 3gb e-sim which we did not use. Free Hanfu experience is actually a few pieces of traditional clothings hung at the hotel reception where we are free to wear for self photo takings. We did not try as the costumes look like they were there for a long time and we were concerned about it's cleanliness. Breakfast is at another hotel a buggy ride away. We were supposed to be able to walk a short distance to the pier to board the ferry to see the Leshan Big Buddha but unfortunately, that pier was closed due to tide issues. We had to take the scenic bus (buggy) at RMB 15 per pax for a return trip to Wuyou ferry terminal to board the ferry. It was a long walk from the drop off point to the ferry terminal both ways. Would recommend this hotel for the room and hotel compound. However, if proximity to ferry terminal is a consideration, it pays to check that the pier near the hotel is in operation."

"Close to the train station (within 5 minutes walk), clean and comfortable. There is a Lawson at the first level and noodles shops as well. About 5 minute ride to Shi hao shopping area for more food options and shopping. The bathtub is a nice touch as well. There is free laundry and dryer as well. Will stay again!"

"The hotel is in the scenic area so it is a little tricky to get to, otherwise it's in a nice quite ancient street which is nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan china. Vehicles aren't allowed in the area and the street is lined with historic style buildings and large trees. Making it a great place to walk, relax and people watch. The hotel will contact you prior to arrival and arrange for a free electric shuttle pick you up. There are very few food options at and near the hotel. The hotel has a vegetarian set meal that's on the pricey side as is everything in the immediate area. However its a short 10 - 20 minute walk across the bridge where there are several options as well as shops. And if you go in the evening you can see the people dancing in along the boardwalk,.karaoke, or playing cards well as get your ears cleaned, a pedicure, or a haircut. The breakfast was a buffet on one day featuring chinese dishes as fried eggs and toast. On the 2nd day it was a set very traditional chinese breakfast. The room was nice with its own heating/ cooling system. Overall the cleaning could have been better, especially for the price point. The staff was fine. Better attention then you would get in any north american hotel, but in other hotels we recieved over the top service so even through the service was great there is room for improvement. Even though everyone comes to this area for the buddha, i would reccomend coming here to get away from the hustle and bustle of china. You can walk to the buddha statue or boat tour from the hotel or there is a cheap electric shuttle 15y that you can ride all day of you are walked out."

"Super friendly staff and wonderful location! Minutes walk from the food street and the view from my room was stunning! Though the space inside room for dining is very limited, they have a nice common dining area with view to the river. The welcome fruit platter was lovely and the breakfast was hearty. Also enjoyed the free laundry room! Had my clothes washed and dried within hours (the washing machine has built-in in detergent dispenser). Would definitely stay again if I visit Leshan in the future:)"

"The hotel is a new hotel and some rooms are under decorations，it is not a real hotel actually which can be named guest house or inn. It is a boutique inn which locates beside Jailing river. Upon check in ，agent is very friendly and helpful，she welcomed us with hospitality and warmth. The inn boss met in the lobby by accident，sorry can not memorized his name，he is very kind and enthusiastic. The boss offered my wife a wooden hand strings，he expressed which can bring us happiness and lucky destiny. Besides，he issued us tourists map and Leshan introduction which are very user-friendly to first comer. There are many restaurants nearby，such as Miao Wei spicy hot pot(秒味串串)，BBQ and Qiaojiao beef(跷脚牛肉)，etc. Our room locates on 20th floor & No. 05，is not very spacious，however the layout and location are very gorgeous which face Jialing river directly and Leshan giant Buddha can be overlooked clearly in the distance. This amazing view brought us good mood and atmosphere during stay. It is a bit expensive during May day holiday. It is the best choice for lodging under the premise of avoiding holiday and festive days for staggered shift tourism. Overall staying experience was good，staffs are nice ，especially location and picturesque. Strongly recommend to all of you if you travel to Leshan. Thanks"

"It’s quite a nice affordable hotel, with friendly staff and a bonus is that the room slipper is the thick kind. Very local breakfast, have quite a variety but international travellers might not get use to it but it’s good to try. Can bring swimming suits or tights or comfortable clothing for the hot spring. Only 4 start for cleanliness as the room service did not vacuum the floor."

"the stay was so so good! firstly, before our arrival date, the hotel contacted us on both trip.com & wechat, so our transport to the hotel from emeishan station was smooth. check-in was fuss free as well, and the front office lady xiaoshi was kind, warm, and gave us tips for our trip up emei. we could borrow the hanfu and took pictures in the yard and around the hotel. the facilities were clean, nice, and overall really cosy. breakfast was really good too. and if you prefer to go up the mountain earlier, the hotel will also prepare some light takeaways for you, and thats super thoughtful i’ve read reviews that the location was not as good as those around baoguo; but since we were travelling as a family, this place was peaceful, slightly quieter and very near huangwan visitor centre! To me this was equally as good as hotels that are around baoguo. the trip up emei mountain was quick and fuss free as well, since I got the tickets and boarded the bus from huangwan (about a 5-7 mins walk away from the hotel) which is not much different from baoguo. will definitely stay here again if im visiting this area :))"

VVieraskäyttäjäToo many things to compliment. The room is comfortable, clean and the view is stunning. Literally 2 mins walk to park's entry. I recommend you try their restaurant. I am still drooling over their chicken dish. It is super delicious and yet, feels home cooked and fresh. Their service is also excellent, answered and guided me on how to sightseeing in Emeishan. Very helpful. Not just the front desk, but every single hotel staff were welcoming. Too bad I only booked 1 night. I highly recommend this hotel. Definitely my first choice if I visit Emeishan again.

LLanJiangWe initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff. When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough. If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting. A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay. A small tip: If your goal is to catch the sunrise and sunset at Golden Summit, you'll need to stay at one of the mountaintop hotels near Jinding. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks.

VVieraskäyttäjäService: First of all, we arrived at Emeishan Station at 9 a.m. and had booked the pick-up service in advance. The hotel butler came to pick us up in a business vehicle. Although the hotel is just a few minutes’ drive away, this thoughtful service greatly enhanced the overall experience. Le Méridien Emeishan is positioned as a resort hotel with over 300 rooms. Since we arrived quite early, we initially thought we’d have to wait until the afternoon to check in. However, the hotel had available rooms and kindly allowed us to check in right away. The butler even gave us two cups of coffee and drove us around in a sightseeing cart to show us different room types. Although we had only booked a standard room, they upgraded us to a lake-view room with beautiful scenery. We really appreciate the hotel’s excellent service! Additionally, the butler gave us 10 bottles of water upon check-in, which was more than enough—no need to call for more during our stay. Facilities: The hotel grounds are quite large, and the buildings are low-rise. Guests staying in Building 2 may need to walk about six to seven minutes to their rooms. The hotel offers a lobby bar, reading lounge, gym, hot spring pool, swimming pool, and kids’ play area. The facilities are generally comprehensive, though the entertainment options may feel a bit limited for a resort hotel. The children’s play area includes simple slides, swings, and a small ball pit—fairly modest in scale. Location: About 2 km from Baoguo Temple and close to the shuttle bus station for Emei Mountain. Very convenient. Breakfast: Abundant and delicious, with the option to dine outdoors in a beautiful setting. Environment: The hotel is located next to Exiu Lake, surrounded by a scenic park with views of the Golden Summit (Jinding). The environment inside the hotel is also pleasant—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Overall: The highlight of this hotel is its outstanding service, which is undoubtedly the most important aspect for a resort. It would be even better if the facilities were more varied.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the professional and welcoming staff, setting the tone for a perfect visit. Due to some logistics, the hotel generously offered us a free room upgrade. The room itself was exceptionally good—spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The entire property is stunning, featuring beautiful ancient Chinese architecture that provides a charming, rustic feel while still offering all the comforts you could need. The service was a highlight of our trip. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, especially the delicious noodles which were a perfect start to our day. To top off the amazing service, the hotel arranged for someone to see us back to the Emeishan railway station and even kindly paid for our fare. This level of care and generosity is rare to find. We will definitely be coming back for another visit and highly recommend this gem to anyone traveling to the area!

BBernicetjmXiao Zhou and his colleagues provided us with exceptional service during our one-night stay at the hotel! They were very nice and friendly, attentive to our needs and requests, and chatted with us in an open and welcoming manner whenever we inquired about aspects of the local environment, Mt Emei, etc. We had dinner at the hotel during our stay and ordered the chef's recommendations. The food was AMAZING and so fresh. The fish and chicken dishes that we had came from live fish and chicken that they reared within the hotel compound. If they were a local restaurant back in my country, I would frequent them without a doubt, and would love to bring my friends to try their cuisine. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, Xiao Zhou even brought us to take a look at the hotel's chicken coop and fish pond. When we had to leave for our hike to Mt Emei's summit, Xiao Zhou and his colleague kindly drove us to the nearest bus station so that it would be easier for us to access Mt Emei's public transportation, a gesture which we appreciated a lot! All in all, their attentiveness to us, good manners, and warm and friendly dispositions all contributed to a memorable stay. Of course, the rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. Would love to come back here in the future!!

Emei - the staff are very friendly The bad: - the hotel is definitely looking tired and dated: chipped woodwork in the rooms, flaking paint on the balcony. - only one of the many bars is open. Everytime we wanted to order something we were shown a huge menu, only to then be told most things were not available - this included wines, beers and food. - the hotel was incredibly quiet with the restaurant and bar being completely empty most of the time we were there. Whilst not the hotel’s fault, it dead mean a complete lack of atmosphere. - various items were listed as included when booking with Trip.com - none of them were available or in fact included. - when advise was needed from reception: the information given was often not accurate. The staff were wonderfully friendly, they just did not seem to have accurate information or to check it. Overall: this was the most expensive hotel booked during my three week tour of China and the most disappointing. I would unfortunately not recommend, especially in low season.

AAnonyymi käyttäjäI'm so impressed with this hotel/resort. It gives the vibe of luxury and comfortability. Its location is so close to Emeishan Railway Station. If you don't carry big luggage, you could wait for the bus Line 13. It's only four bus stops away, opposite a gas/patrol station. For me, I boarded a taxi from the train station and the hotel paid for it. The staff were wonderful and helpful to me. As I don't speak Chinese, they were eager to help, using the mobile translation app, to make sure my stay was comfortable and convenient. The room I stayed in was huge, with two queen size beds, decorated to accommodate a family with children. I love the big private bath tub next to a wide window, allowing you to enjoy the view. It's clearly designed for families with young children. There was even a big giant teddy bear and a tipi in the middle of the room for kids to enjoy. The hotel also has a full size swimming pool. Unfortunately, I didn't get to use it as I spent a lot of time in my huge private bath tub. I want to give special thanks to Ms. ”Little Horse” for being so welcoming and helpful. She even gave me a bottle of drinking water when I checked out and arranged a taxi for me returning to the train station. Impressive!

The restaurant was closed when we were there, so called gym does not exist at all, swimming pool is small like a pond and the bigger one is for kids. There is no garden or anything that covers the road and the bridge you can hear easily while staying down the swimming pool. The big bonus is the bathroom- big and modern exactly like on the picture and the spring water hot tub that works well and can create a great time during the night as you can hear the river. Light system is amazing. You can find any light that you need to set up a mood. People are very nice and friendly. The front desk does not have ‘ business card’ and location of the hotel was written down on a paper. Really little things that shows this place has a potential but not in the current set up. You can’t lock the room door when you are not inside- only the garden gate. Who would design such a thing? I know it’s a safe destination but still. There is no safe either. People create this place special but it does not meet a high standard resort score.

RRenny9898This is the hotel you should go to if you want good onsen facilities and great views from your room. The hotel staff were all friendly and meticulous. There were even lifeguards on duty at the heated swimming pools for both indoor and outdoor. Though it wasn't a private onsen room, the onsen facilities were easy to navigate to, and the room came with beautiful views. Their onsen facilities were clean, and came with a wide variety. The hotel had temperature indicated for each onsen, and all indoor onsen pools had different herbal onsens. The outdoor onsen pools were pretty interesting and fun too. One was for kids that came with a water play feature, the other one was a swirly pool for adults (the swirls were pretty strong, so make sure your child is supervised by an adult at all times). The changing rooms were also spacious and clean. There's also a vendor in the indoor heated pool and onsen area selling snacks and drinks. You have the option of sitting and lounging around with the tables and lounging chairs available. Our hotel room was very spacious and clean for our family of four. There are restaurants and convenience stores right beside the hotel, so meals and purchases were very convenient. The hotel restaurant and breakfast was alright, though not fantastic compared to better food choices in Chengdu. The hotel location is fantastic as it was just a 10-15 mins drive away to the entrance of Emeishan. Overall, though it was only a one night stay, we had a great experience and time here.

I was on the 4th floor and didn't find it that nice in the sense that a mosquito still flew in and bit me during the night (you could hear it in the room). And because there's no solid wall separating you from the living room (there's just a shelf), there wasn't any way to effectively shut the mosquito out. The night porridge also came with a piece of hair in it so from that point on, I stopped asking for the nighttime porridge. The staff are not that nice and are actually quite rude. For example, the lady who made my milk tea and most of the front-desk staff with the exception of one. I have to shout out the shuttle driver; he was so incredibly friendly and really made me feel welcome, while everyone else made me feel like a hassle. My Chinese isn't that great but I try my best, and the lady who made the free milk tea acted like a burden when I asked her to repeat things and didn't even bother explaining what it was. They are not that friendly over WeChat either compared to other hotels I've stayed at. Again, I have to shout out the shuttle driver. I never got his name but he was so cheerful and nice. He also helped unclog the toilet several times; not sure if there was some kind of plumbing issue but it clogged almost every single time and so I unfortunately called him a lot. But he was so patient and helpful every single time and he is the highlight of my stay. Everyone else should adopt his attitude rather than being cold over the WeChat customer service support chat, or basically shouting at you because you are having trouble understanding the free milk tea options.
