"Xiao Zhou and his colleagues provided us with exceptional service during our one-night stay at the hotel! They were very nice and friendly, attentive to our needs and requests, and chatted with us in an open and welcoming manner whenever we inquired about aspects of the local environment, Mt Emei, etc. We had dinner at the hotel during our stay and ordered the chef's recommendations. The food was AMAZING and so fresh. The fish and chicken dishes that we had came from live fish and chicken that they reared within the hotel compound. If they were a local restaurant back in my country, I would frequent them without a doubt, and would love to bring my friends to try their cuisine. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, Xiao Zhou even brought us to take a look at the hotel's chicken coop and fish pond. When we had to leave for our hike to Mt Emei's summit, Xiao Zhou and his colleague kindly drove us to the nearest bus station so that it would be easier for us to access Mt Emei's public transportation, a gesture which we appreciated a lot! All in all, their attentiveness to us, good manners, and warm and friendly dispositions all contributed to a memorable stay. Of course, the rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. Would love to come back here in the future!!"

AAnonyymi käyttäjäVery zen looking hotel very near the entrance to the Big Buddha Scenic Area. We were upgraded to a room at the first level with a huge courtyard. Though nice, we did not have the time to enjoy the extra space. Both the shower and toilet doors are of translucent glass and has no lock. 4 bottles of drinking water and 3in1 coffee are provided in the room. There's a small washing machine in the room but without full dryer function. Hotel compound is nice. Complimentary afternoon tea is actually self service biscuits, nuts and Chinese tea. There is also a free 3gb e-sim which we did not use. Free Hanfu experience is actually a few pieces of traditional clothings hung at the hotel reception where we are free to wear for self photo takings. We did not try as the costumes look like they were there for a long time and we were concerned about it's cleanliness. Breakfast is at another hotel a buggy ride away. We were supposed to be able to walk a short distance to the pier to board the ferry to see the Leshan Big Buddha but unfortunately, that pier was closed due to tide issues. We had to take the scenic bus (buggy) at RMB 15 per pax for a return trip to Wuyou ferry terminal to board the ferry. It was a long walk from the drop off point to the ferry terminal both ways. Would recommend this hotel for the room and hotel compound. However, if proximity to ferry terminal is a consideration, it pays to check that the pier near the hotel is in operation.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the professional and welcoming staff, setting the tone for a perfect visit. Due to some logistics, the hotel generously offered us a free room upgrade. The room itself was exceptionally good—spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The entire property is stunning, featuring beautiful ancient Chinese architecture that provides a charming, rustic feel while still offering all the comforts you could need. The service was a highlight of our trip. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, especially the delicious noodles which were a perfect start to our day. To top off the amazing service, the hotel arranged for someone to see us back to the Emeishan railway station and even kindly paid for our fare. This level of care and generosity is rare to find. We will definitely be coming back for another visit and highly recommend this gem to anyone traveling to the area!

The hotel is located on a hill l, so you have a beautified view. In the morning you wake up with the sound of birds and your view from your bed is on the trees. The room itself is also very luxurious and big with a beautiful design. You have your own terrace, very taste tea and a fridge with free drinks. The pool is very nice. And the only pool where you could really swim during our trip. The staff is very helpful and they are all very kind people. We booked one extra night because we liked the place so much. So if you are looking for a nice getaway in Leshan, book this place!💛

VVieraskäyttäjäService: First of all, we arrived at Emeishan Station at 9 a.m. and had booked the pick-up service in advance. The hotel butler came to pick us up in a business vehicle. Although the hotel is just a few minutes’ drive away, this thoughtful service greatly enhanced the overall experience. Le Méridien Emeishan is positioned as a resort hotel with over 300 rooms. Since we arrived quite early, we initially thought we’d have to wait until the afternoon to check in. However, the hotel had available rooms and kindly allowed us to check in right away. The butler even gave us two cups of coffee and drove us around in a sightseeing cart to show us different room types. Although we had only booked a standard room, they upgraded us to a lake-view room with beautiful scenery. We really appreciate the hotel’s excellent service! Additionally, the butler gave us 10 bottles of water upon check-in, which was more than enough—no need to call for more during our stay. Facilities: The hotel grounds are quite large, and the buildings are low-rise. Guests staying in Building 2 may need to walk about six to seven minutes to their rooms. The hotel offers a lobby bar, reading lounge, gym, hot spring pool, swimming pool, and kids’ play area. The facilities are generally comprehensive, though the entertainment options may feel a bit limited for a resort hotel. The children’s play area includes simple slides, swings, and a small ball pit—fairly modest in scale. Location: About 2 km from Baoguo Temple and close to the shuttle bus station for Emei Mountain. Very convenient. Breakfast: Abundant and delicious, with the option to dine outdoors in a beautiful setting. Environment: The hotel is located next to Exiu Lake, surrounded by a scenic park with views of the Golden Summit (Jinding). The environment inside the hotel is also pleasant—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Overall: The highlight of this hotel is its outstanding service, which is undoubtedly the most important aspect for a resort. It would be even better if the facilities were more varied.

The hotel seems to have been open for a very long time, and the renovation appears quite old-fashioned. However, this doesn’t significantly affect the overall cleanliness of the hotel, although some areas might not be as clean due to the age of the building. During our stay, the toilet bowl was clogged. We informed the front desk before leaving, and the issue was resolved by the time we returned. The breakfast is average with limited options, but every morning a staff brings it to our room. Since the breakfast is free and included, there isn’t much to complain about. Overall, this place is value for money.

RRenny9898This is the hotel you should go to if you want good onsen facilities and great views from your room. The hotel staff were all friendly and meticulous. There were even lifeguards on duty at the heated swimming pools for both indoor and outdoor. Though it wasn't a private onsen room, the onsen facilities were easy to navigate to, and the room came with beautiful views. Their onsen facilities were clean, and came with a wide variety. The hotel had temperature indicated for each onsen, and all indoor onsen pools had different herbal onsens. The outdoor onsen pools were pretty interesting and fun too. One was for kids that came with a water play feature, the other one was a swirly pool for adults (the swirls were pretty strong, so make sure your child is supervised by an adult at all times). The changing rooms were also spacious and clean. There's also a vendor in the indoor heated pool and onsen area selling snacks and drinks. You have the option of sitting and lounging around with the tables and lounging chairs available. Our hotel room was very spacious and clean for our family of four. There are restaurants and convenience stores right beside the hotel, so meals and purchases were very convenient. The hotel restaurant and breakfast was alright, though not fantastic compared to better food choices in Chengdu. The hotel location is fantastic as it was just a 10-15 mins drive away to the entrance of Emeishan. Overall, though it was only a one night stay, we had a great experience and time here.

They did their best to accommodate 2 English speaking travellers. They stored our luggage well beyond checkout time while we were exploring Mt Emei and even provided transport to the train station. Our room featured a smart, heated toilet with a great view of a nearby restaurant. The bed was the softest we've had in China with the most comfiest comforters. 10/10 experience. Will recommend for anyone visiting Emei.

VVieraskäyttäjäThe location is convenient, several minutes walk from the Leidongping shuttle bus station, and easy to find. The room is compact and clean but has not much space for luggage. Facilities are basic but enough for a good night rest. There is no air conditioning but the floor heating and heating blankets provide enough warmth. The shower water is decently warm. The bedding is clean. The stuff are friendly and helpful and offers morning calls for sunrise watching. They provide homemade meals which are filling and decently tasty but not cheap, which is understandable because of the difficulty in getting ingredients at near mountain top.
