"The Wangle is a very comfortable hotel located in a great area- near shops, restaurants etc -but within easy access via a short taxi trip to the Giant Buddha scenic area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I really liked the relaxed vibe of the hotel. It was a shame that the pool pump was broken so the pool was closed - as it would have been nice to relax in the pool. Nonetheless, I thoroughly recommend the hotel as it has a nice feel and is excellent value for money."

"Close to the train station (within 5 minutes walk), clean and comfortable. There is a Lawson at the first level and noodles shops as well. About 5 minute ride to Shi hao shopping area for more food options and shopping. The bathtub is a nice touch as well. There is free laundry and dryer as well. Will stay again!"

"This service suite apartment hotel right next to local populated area sihao square 世豪广场. Going to leshan buddha is about 10-20mins away. Going to suji ancient village (苏稽古镇) is about the same distance. Going to high speed rail station is just stone throw away, about 5mins. From there, going to emei mountain is just a short train ride. During my stay the reception xiao yang (小杨）was very helpful. Making my trip a pleasant one."

"We loved our stay here! And I can definitely say that it was the best hotel we stayed in during our 4 weeks china travel.
The hotel is located on a hill l, so you have a beautified view. In the morning you wake up with the sound of birds and your view from your bed is on the trees. The room itself is also very luxurious and big with a beautiful design. You have your own terrace, very taste tea and a fridge with free drinks.
The pool is very nice. And the only pool where you could really swim during our trip.
The staff is very helpful and they are all very kind people. We booked one extra night because we liked the place so much. So if you are looking for a nice getaway in Leshan, book this place!💛"

"What a beautiful gem in the mountains. We stayed in the family themed room and it was lovely. Close to the sightseeing sites (The giant Buddha and Temples) and good Leshan restaurants.
The receptionist was very helpful and made an effort to make our stay pleasantful.
The hotel has an on-site restaurant and the breakfast was lovely. The cafe served ok-coffee and tea all locations are high up in the mountain so you can see a nice view. There is also a nice hiking trail on the property and the sights from the top are amazing.

"the stay was so so good! firstly, before our arrival date, the hotel contacted us on both trip.com & wechat, so our transport to the hotel from emeishan station was smooth.
check-in was fuss free as well, and the front office lady xiaoshi was kind, warm, and gave us tips for our trip up emei.
we could borrow the hanfu and took pictures in the yard and around the hotel.
the facilities were clean, nice, and overall really cosy. breakfast was really good too. and if you prefer to go up the mountain earlier, the hotel will also prepare some light takeaways for you, and thats super thoughtful
i’ve read reviews that the location was not as good as those around baoguo; but since we were travelling as a family, this place was peaceful, slightly quieter and very near huangwan visitor centre! To me this was equally as good as hotels that are around baoguo. the trip up emei mountain was quick and fuss free as well, since I got the tickets and boarded the bus from huangwan (about a 5-7 mins walk away from the hotel) which is not much different from baoguo. will definitely stay here again if im visiting this area :))"

VVieraskäyttäjäToo many things to compliment. The room is comfortable, clean and the view is stunning. Literally 2 mins walk to park's entry. I recommend you try their restaurant. I am still drooling over their chicken dish. It is super delicious and yet, feels home cooked and fresh. Their service is also excellent, answered and guided me on how to sightseeing in Emeishan. Very helpful. Not just the front desk, but every single hotel staff were welcoming. Too bad I only booked 1 night. I highly recommend this hotel. Definitely my first choice if I visit Emeishan again.

In a small hillstation, it is also close to convenience stores and a small shopping dining area. While it looks good in photos, the bath tub in the room itself is not convenient. Maybe could be an attraction for honeymooners. The Boss and his wife are helpful and kind. Complimentary breakfast is basic but enough. Though keep your mobile translation software ready, because there's no other language spoken but Mandarin. But this review would be incomplete if I did not mention on how to get there. Take a ”C” train from Chengdu East to Emeishan Station (roughly one hour) and then take a shuttle bus to Zero Kilometer (roughly 90 minutes). There are helpful tourism counters at the Emeishan Station to guide you. From the plains into the hills is quite a drive through the winding roads.

First of all, we arrived at Emeishan Station at 9 a.m. and had booked the pick-up service in advance. The hotel butler came to pick us up in a business vehicle. Although the hotel is just a few minutes’ drive away, this thoughtful service greatly enhanced the overall experience.
Le Méridien Emeishan is positioned as a resort hotel with over 300 rooms. Since we arrived quite early, we initially thought we’d have to wait until the afternoon to check in. However, the hotel had available rooms and kindly allowed us to check in right away. The butler even gave us two cups of coffee and drove us around in a sightseeing cart to show us different room types. Although we had only booked a standard room, they upgraded us to a lake-view room with beautiful scenery. We really appreciate the hotel’s excellent service!
Additionally, the butler gave us 10 bottles of water upon check-in, which was more than enough—no need to call for more during our stay.
Facilities:
The hotel grounds are quite large, and the buildings are low-rise. Guests staying in Building 2 may need to walk about six to seven minutes to their rooms. The hotel offers a lobby bar, reading lounge, gym, hot spring pool, swimming pool, and kids’ play area. The facilities are generally comprehensive, though the entertainment options may feel a bit limited for a resort hotel. The children’s play area includes simple slides, swings, and a small ball pit—fairly modest in scale.
Location:
About 2 km from Baoguo Temple and close to the shuttle bus station for Emei Mountain. Very convenient.
Breakfast:
Abundant and delicious, with the option to dine outdoors in a beautiful setting.
Environment:
The hotel is located next to Exiu Lake, surrounded by a scenic park with views of the Golden Summit (Jinding). The environment inside the hotel is also pleasant—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway.
Overall:
The highlight of this hotel is its outstanding service, which is undoubtedly the most important aspect for a resort. It would be even better if the facilities were more varied.

And, they replenished everything each day when they made up the room. There was also a small washing machine in the room that could handle a decent amount of clothing. The hotel breakfast restaurant was huge, and there was a wide variety of tasty breakfast items. The hotel restaurant makes excellent food for breakfast. I could tell it was a high-quality kitchen using fresh ingredients. The Chinese restaurant at the hotel was also a high-quality restaurant. We had a large family dinner in a private dining room. All the dishes were prepared expertly. They have very good chefs at this hotel. There were 3 floors that made up a tea house lounge. This hotel had everything in one place. Overall, it is an excellent place to stay if one wants to visit Leshan and explore the surrounding areas.

We booked a suite but was upgraded to a bigger suite with an onsen tub in our room balcony overlooking the river with the relaxing sounds of water flowing. The suite is equipped with amenities, Dyson hairdryer, a kettle, a mini induction cooker & pot and a welcome basket of fresh fruits which we love a lot. Room is clean and bed, pillows are so comfortable. Service is excellent. They offered free laundry for us which we are truly appreciative. I highly recommend this hotel for those visiting Emeishan.

AAnonyymi käyttäjäI'm so impressed with this hotel/resort. It gives the vibe of luxury and comfortability. Its location is so close to Emeishan Railway Station. If you don't carry big luggage, you could wait for the bus Line 13. It's only four bus stops away, opposite a gas/patrol station. For me, I boarded a taxi from the train station and the hotel paid for it.
The staff were wonderful and helpful to me. As I don't speak Chinese, they were eager to help, using the mobile translation app, to make sure my stay was comfortable and convenient.
The room I stayed in was huge, with two queen size beds, decorated to accommodate a family with children. I love the big private bath tub next to a wide window, allowing you to enjoy the view. It's clearly designed for families with young children. There was even a big giant teddy bear and a tipi in the middle of the room for kids to enjoy.
The hotel also has a full size swimming pool. Unfortunately, I didn't get to use it as I spent a lot of time in my huge private bath tub.
I want to give special thanks to Ms. ”Little Horse” for being so welcoming and helpful. She even gave me a bottle of drinking water when I checked out and arranged a taxi for me returning to the train station. Impressive!

RRudolph WangHotel was located at a nice, quiet neighbourhood, but still walking distances to Emeishan Train Station, which was great! Our hotel room view, facing the lake, was very relaxing. Amenities were good with Dyson hairdryer. The staff really thought things ahead by taking the initiative of filling up the hotspring tub in our room just before our arrival, so to ensure we can have a very relaxing, enjoyable stay after the whole day out to the Golden Summit of Emei Mountain. Upon checking out, we were given a small paper bag filled with local peanut candies and the lychee flavoured Mr Emei Snow soda drink. It was a very nice, warm gesture from the Hotel. Definitely highly recommended!

CClarudOur stay at this inn in Leshan was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, the kindest and most earnest lady welcomed us and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. She gave us amazing tips for dinner and visiting the Giant Buddha, which made our trip so much smoother and more enjoyable.
The inn itself is a true gem. The rooms were spotlessly clean and thoughtfully designed, with heated beds and toilets that were perfect for the cool weather. Not many hotels out there with heated beddings and toilet seats. Not only that there is good heating with a radiator together with an air conditioner.
The outdoor garden was another highlight—beautifully maintained and filled with fresh, vibrant greenery. It was such a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the morning air.
What made the stay unforgettable, though, was the lady who runs the place. Her warmth and dedication are unmatched. Even when we tried to tip her to thank her for her hospitality, she gently refused, saying she was just grateful for each guest who stayed.
If you’re visiting Leshan, this inn is a must. Between the cozy amenities, beautiful garden, and heartfelt service, it’s the kind of place that leaves you with wonderful memories. We can’t wait to come back!

I was on the 4th floor and didn't find it that nice in the sense that a mosquito still flew in and bit me during the night (you could hear it in the room). And because there's no solid wall separating you from the living room (there's just a shelf), there wasn't any way to effectively shut the mosquito out. The night porridge also came with a piece of hair in it so from that point on, I stopped asking for the nighttime porridge.
The staff are not that nice and are actually quite rude. For example, the lady who made my milk tea and most of the front-desk staff with the exception of one. I have to shout out the shuttle driver; he was so incredibly friendly and really made me feel welcome, while everyone else made me feel like a hassle. My Chinese isn't that great but I try my best, and the lady who made the free milk tea acted like a burden when I asked her to repeat things and didn't even bother explaining what it was. They are not that friendly over WeChat either compared to other hotels I've stayed at.
Again, I have to shout out the shuttle driver. I never got his name but he was so cheerful and nice. He also helped unclog the toilet several times; not sure if there was some kind of plumbing issue but it clogged almost every single time and so I unfortunately called him a lot. But he was so patient and helpful every single time and he is the highlight of my stay. Everyone else should adopt his attitude rather than being cold over the WeChat customer service support chat, or basically shouting at you because you are having trouble understanding the free milk tea options.
