"The room was extremely clean, the room had a very pleasant smell, and the staff was EXTREMELY helpful. The bathtub was extremely spacious, and the water was contentiously hot. The shower was beautiful and the toilet was very high tech. The middle easten theme of the hotel was very nice. The ONLY problem with the room was that it didn't have any hooks to hang towels/robes."

"호텔 1층 만두가게에서 체크인하고, 편의점 끼고 돌면 호텔 입구가 있어요. 체크인 할때 여자 직원분이 친절히 방까지 데려다주었어요. 사진과 같은 방이고, 23층에서 보면 오션뷰라 좋았어요. 동방수성, 성게만두 유명한 시딩 가깝고, 갤러리아몰 횡단보도 두번 건너면 되요. 스마트 변기 따뜻했고, 방이 춥다는 리뷰가 있길래 걱정했는데, 이불 덮고 잠드니 괜찮았어요. 이 가격에 조식까지 주셔서 정말 좋았어요. 따뜻한 두유랑 동그란 깨찰빵 맛있었어요. 청소해주시는 남자 직원분과 조식 먹을때 남자 사장님처럼 보이는 분도 친철하셨어요. 낮시간에 살짝 공사소리가 들리긴 했는데, 밤에는 괜찮았어요. 다음에 대련에 가게되면 또 예약할게요. 2박 3일동안 잘 지냈어요. 감사합니다. (아 호텔 근처에 동강5호 찜질방 추천해요. 인당 79위안인데, 수영장도 있어서 초등아이들이 즐거워했어요.^^)"

"The staff were friendly. The room was a bit old but clean.
Walkable from the station. Entrring the building, I was little bit afraid that I had to go up to 3rd floor and further inside. If I had traveled Hongkong, I wouldn’t have gone inside. However, it was safe and after that it looked kind of unique.

"The hotel accepts foreigners. Great location, a walking distance from Dalian Station, essentially on Zhongshan Square. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was good, there's even a washing machine (didn't use it though). The staff was kind and helpful. Perhaps the only problem was that the room card didn't work, so I had to get a password, which also expired daily at midnight, and I had to contact the reception to get a new one. But that's not how it's supposed to be, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Overall, a great option."

酒店就在星海廣場邊上，步行就能到百年城雕和海邊，看海景、散步、拍照都特別方便。我訂的海景房視野很好，落地窗直麪大海和星海灣大橋，白天看海開闊，晚上看燈光夜景也很出片。
房間整體乾淨整潔，裝修簡約舒服，床品軟硬適中，睡得很安穩。衞浴乾濕分離，熱水穩定，洗漱用品齊全，智能馬桶用着也很方便。房間裏燈光、窗簾都能一鍵控制，細節做得很到位。

AAnonyymi käyttäjäMy old parents came from Korea. We - 6 people - wanted to have a great memory during their stay in Dalian. Its location was perfect, sitting at the heart of fishermen s warf, but it was right after rain that things were humid. I should admit that for the peak time and prime location, it is a reasonable price and I blame the wet weather for some smelly environment. Should avoid wet weather. It is already right at the sea. Also, the price is as much as other 5 stars that are not in this location. There are lots of insta spots in and out of the hotel, so it is whether to put yourself at the top location with a bit reasonable price or modernized hotels like Hilton and intercontinental that are farther away and a couple of bucks more expensive.

VVieraskäyttäjäI will start with the positive and say that the resort is located on a hill facing the sea and some mountains so I was happy that I had a good view from my room window. The balcony was an added bonus, but although I went for a deluxe double room, there was nothing deluxe about it! I stayed in 3 & 4 star hotels in China that they were not much different than this room I was given. The staff were very polite and accommodating, but most of them had very little English or no English at all - had to use a translation app or repeat/rephrase a few times (Chinese & English are the spoken languages according to the website). The wifi is very weak so I kept using my own mobile data. The rooms are not sound insulated so I kept hearing the banging of nearby doors and people passing or stalling/talking along the corridor. In a nutshell, the amenities and service offered do not compare to the experience I had at Hilton hotels elsewhere. It is definitely not good value for money. Disappointing.

AAdam 亚当 !Our stay started off a little bit chaotic, as the AC in our room is broken and there was a loud noise coming from the bathroom. Also we had a late check-out as we needed to sleep more however the cleaner disrupted our sleep. After this we spoke with the manager and she was very kind and made up for many of the issues that we had during our stay.
- Note: The hot springs are great! many different pools and not too busy when we arrived.

Vietimme perheenä neljä yötä The Castle Dalianissa ja nautimme kokemuksestamme täysin siemauksin. Tilavasta ja kauniisti sisustetusta huoneestamme 12. kerroksessa oli upeat merinäköalat, mikä teki vierailustamme todella ikimuistoisen.
Hotellin sisääntuloaula on vaikuttavan suuri ja tyylikkäästi suunniteltu, mikä loi tervetulleen tunnelman heti alusta alkaen. Lapsiperheille on tarjolla suuri leikkialue, josta veloitetaan lisämaksu. Onneksi hotellin vieraat saavat alennusta.
Ulkona hotellilla on viehättävä pieni puisto, josta on upeat näkymät lahdelle ja kaunis maisemointi – täydellinen paikka rentouttavalle kävelylle. Hotelli sijaitsee pienellä kukkulalla, joten kävelymatka takaisin keskustaan on hieman pitkä. Ilmainen bussikuljetus on kuitenkin erittäin kätevä, ja se tarjoaa helpon kuljetuksen alas kaupunkiin ja takaisin.
Huoneemme oli harkitusti sisustettu ja erittäin tilava, ja siinä oli suuri ja hyvin varusteltu kylpyhuone. Yksi pieni haittapuoli oli, että sängyn vieressä oli vain yksi pistorasia (vain toisella puolella) eikä USB-portteja puhelimien lataamiseen, mikä olisi ollut mukava lisä.
Aamiainen ja muut hotellin ateriat olivat herkullisia, ja tarjolla oli runsas valikoima sekä kiinalaisia että länsimaisia ruokia. Ainoa parannusta vaativa alue olisi aamiaisravintolan wc-tilojen siisteys, jotka valitettavasti olivat usein epäsiistit ja kaipasivat useammin huomiota.
27-asteisena pidetty uima-allas ei ollut ihanteellinen pienille lapsille, koska siellä ei ole erillistä lastenosastoa. Vieraiden tulee myös huomioida, että uimalakin käyttö on pakollista. Allasalueella on mini-suomalainen sauna ja pukuhuoneisiin integroitu höyrysauna. Altaan vieressä on kuitenkin vain aurinkotuoleja, joten saunakokemus oli aivan erilainen kuin rentouttavat saunakäynnit, joihin olemme tottuneet Euroopassa.
Kaiken kaikkiaan Castle Dalian tarjoaa ihanan loman kauniine näkymineen, erinomaisella ruoalla ja perheystävällisillä palveluilla, mikä tekee siitä loistavan valinnan alueella vieraileville matkailijoille.

The service of the reception were great as I left a box of fruits in the room after checking out. Called them and she arranged delivery to send to my next hotel. Really appreciate it.

LLorraineGIt was very nice and quiet. Close to the beach and restaurants were just across the street. Golden pebble beach was 5 mins walk away. I wonder why Golden Pebble beach isn’t so lively on Dragon Boar festival. There were things to do but the shops near the beach never opened. But it was okay as we enjoyed just taking a walk and we liked that it wasn’t so crowded. Can hang near the beach at night in peace. Maybe buy some fireworks and light it up yourself.
Also, we thought the service in the hotel needs to improve when it comes to giving customers what they need in the room. We asked for water but it was never brought to us. We just bought water by ourselves.
Good side: the receptions can speak English. The place itself is like a mini mansion. European style kind of houses. Inside a gated community with orange roofs. Very pleasant and quiet.

Only the guys at the reception speak good English and all questions had to be resolved with them, including the restaurant menu - no one in the restaurant, even with my use of a Chinese online translator, could help me with questions about the menu and when I asked the person at the reception to help me understand the menu, it turned out that the kitchen could not cook either the first course from the menu or the second. With dietary restrictions and allergies, you can die of hunger here.
I consider it unacceptable to have non-English-speaking staff in a franchise of an English establishment.
The cook at breakfast talks on the phone right at the place where food is prepared during breakfast. I wanted to ask him a question about the dishes on the first day - he was texting on the phone, on the second day he was directly talking on the phone.
The dishes at breakfast are either not named at all or are named only in Chinese.
There was no seller in the store at the hotel no matter how many times I went in to buy a T-shirt. In the end, I tried on what I was interested in at the store, chose it and went to the reception to pay for it. The next day, a salesperson appeared in the store and told me that the T-shirt I bought the day before had a 20% discount for a month, but when I paid for it, I paid it full price and thus I was deceived by 20% of the cost of the T-shirt and did not give any receipt.
The pool is very small and not deep for such a huge hotel. If there is someone else in the pool besides your partner, there is not enough space.
The sea near the hotel is dirty. Nothing is suitable for swimming - there are no sun loungers, there is no space on the beach specifically for the guests of the hotel. The beach is across the road from the hotel.
There was only one coffee machine at breakfast and it didn't work both days. You could ask a restaurant worker for coffee.
The hotel by the way has a cool energetic staff and that's nice. The room cleaning is high-quality.
There are renovations going on at the hotel and guests can't use all the hotel areas.

JjtravelsThis is an instagrammable hotel that offers quality service. From checking in to checking out you will be assisted by the staff. There is an open beach a few steps away with 2-3 cafe shops. One of them is Caan. The buffet breakfast offers delicious western and Chinese breakfast. The rooms are nicely designed with a balcony overlooking the beach. Snacks and drinks are also offered for free including a welcome fruit plate. Toiletries are of quality and smells really good. Japanese toilet is another plus! The bed and pillows are all comfortable. They also offer activities like boat and paddle board riding. If u need help with anything including attractions to see, they have a wechat account and they respond quick.
I highly recommend this place if you want a more quiet place to stay. And of course the private beach front setup is so relaxing and offers a great view both day and night!
