Our family occasionally come to Hot Springs Valley and we stayed at different hotels. Phoenix has an impressive design of the lobby. We came for a short family relax stay to enjoy the hot springs and had overall a pleasant experience. Despite the hotel itself is not so new, it's a nice place to stay thanks to the helpful staff and a great garden where kids can play. A restaurant provides a Hubei signature dishes. To get to the hatstrings the reception is providing a cart with a driver, which is a warm and welcoming gesture.

The stay at Starry Garden is feeling very homely. We appreciated their effect to greet us each time we come back and the facilities at the hotel is amazing. We are surprise with their butler service especially the laundry service really is convenient for us. Overall we highly recommend for staying at this hotel. .

Hotel located opposite the dock and next to Wanda Plaza which saved us the trouble to get a taxi to move around. We took the cruise from Chongqing, needed to stay 1 night and returned to Chongqing by high speed rail the next day. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Got us a 9 seater vehicle to send us to the railway station. The river view bedroom is spacious. Hotel common area has been renovated, lift lobby marble was polished and corridors with new carpets. Bedroom curtains and armchairs are dark brown velvet which i think are old design, replace it with lighter shade of beige will makes it look more modern. The bathroom floor needs polishing & grouting.

We stayed at East Lake Hotel, Tingtao 2#, for three nights in August 2025, it was great, highly recommend ! East Lake Hotel is known for its beautiful scenery, just as expected, the view was absolutely stunning, but what was better than the view was the best customer service. They assigned a staff member, Ms. Yu, to help us. Ms. Yu gave us her WeChat contact information so we can reach out easily. Ms. Yu was professional and courteous, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, any concern / issue we had, she handled it quickly, including helping out with the laundry! We stayed at other Five Star hotels in Wuhan, Beijing, and Shanghai, but no other hotel provided this level of service. The front desk was also very helpful. Last but not the least, their breakfast buffet was the best among the 6 hotels we stayed for this trip. It was really an amazing experience the food the front desk staff was really good it was an amazing experience for me and my family my child enjoy the play area for kids. He also loved the robot that brings you your delivery to the door of your room. The food at the morning breakfast was really amazing so many varieties the stuff also give you some options to satisfy your needs. It was really an amazing experience. I will gladly recommend this hotel to anyone

Nice location within 5 to 7 mins walk to Wanda Plaza and Three Gorges Visitor Center. Great hospitality from check in to check out. They make you feel that they really appreciate your choosing to stay at the hotel. Spacious room.

Hotel is clean, the staff even tho didn't speak English was very helpful. The only minus was the renovation that was happening, the drilling would start around 7 am. which was pretty disturbing. Besides that I would recommend.

Overall this very good hotel with nice facilities. However I experience two incidents which downgraded service rank. On the first day in the restaurant person was smoking close to our table - should be separate area for smokers and nonsmokers, no reaction from personel. On the 2nd day when taking short clip of the cook preparing the meal, I was approached by the personel and asked not to record the staff, in other hotels staff is definitely more welcome to guests recording or taking photos. Not here.
