"I liked it, BUT... First the good: They brought me a heater when the robe wasn't enough. All of the staff is so very kind and attentive. All speak excellent or job appropriate English. It is a great place for these two reasons. But there is more good news. They're connected by a hallway to Luckin and 7/11 which make a nice comfort with inclement weather or when yr in a rush. The pillow menu lavendar pillow has no smell but the herbal Chinese Chrysanthemum is perfect olfactory and texture. There are extra blankets and pillows. Why it was my first and last: Wait til yr downstairs to call your car service. Floors 3-35 are for apartment residents, except for 7 which is the gym, spa, cafes. Ride to 36, change elevators to go to floors 36-50 hotel rooms. It's not that clean. Everything is kinda dusty. Everywhere, random hair which was gross to me: hand soap pump, the tub, breakfast ewww. The wood panel walls have never met Murphys Oil Soap and they look like the years they've been there. Also if yr allergic, be forewarned the French toast has peanut butter in it. I wanted to go to the sauna and steam room but the things I saw in the room made me think I shouldn't. They can and should do better. The people who work there are lovely and it is a decent building but I wouldn't stay again because I need more cleanliness."

"The hotel had a very serious smoking problem. I was changed room multiple times yet the room still smelled like smoke. The good thing about this hotel is that it has a fully equipped, large gym. But the outdoor pool is completely unusable as it is freezing cold. The location was OK and wasn't especially close to the main areas such as Foshan park or the mountains."

"Excellent hotel experience, I will definitely booked this hotel when I visit Foshan again and strongly recommend to friends and families. This is my first time visiting China alone and it is the first time booked this hotel. The location of the hotel is in centre of tourist attractions. Convenient and affordable. All staffs are so friendly, , breakfast has so much variety, good quality food, tea and coffee. Some items are made to order. Every individual staff made me feel so welcome , as a solo traveller, I feel like home away from home. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and affordable. Housekeepers are so friendly and professional. Concierge: Winnie, Vivian, Leona and Cheryl are all so friendly, helpful, they are always available for assistance and never hesitate to help me with whatever questions I have or anything I asked for. General Manager, Brian is so professional, knowledgeable and friendly. All staffs seem happy to work there and they all remember me and greet me by my name. I feel so pampered, spoiled and welcomed. I even received a special souvenir from the hotel to bring back to Canada."

"Foshan Travels: when it comes to Foshan or Guangzhou, most people only know Chimelong paradise. However, there is an oasis known as Changlu Holiday Resort 长鹿度假村. Its lesser known and more catered to locals. Advised to come on weekends, once you check in, literally no need to go out liaoz!! We came during the weekdays and low season, hence it was easier to get an upgrade and no queues for rides. On weekends, however, they have a night parade and activity. Lots of shows, street shopping, food and performances. Back to the resort. I booked via trip.com. Rooms starts from only $99 per room! Not per person. PER ROOM And includes ALOT! 1. Choice of room. We had initially booked the cave room at $200 per night with tickets for 2 kids. However, due to a natural inclement, we managed to get the underwater room upgrade! Both were great. The underwater room usually cost around $700! And a bigger one at approx $1000!! Breakfast is included too. I would say not as good as the earlier hotels. But ok la… 2. Tickets to the zoo. You get multiple tickets if you book more than 1 night. Actually 1 day ticket is sufficient as the zoo isn’t very big and could be covered in 1 day. Zoo shows are not included. Regret watching but not expensive. 3. Discount tickets to the circus. Top up about $8 per person. Discount tickets to snow world. As we had experienced similar at the previous hotel, we skipped this. Snow world is another $6 per person. 4. Thrilling amusement rides. Not included but they are not expensive too. Pay by coin credits and they offered buy 1 get 1 value. Works out each ride to be less than $2-$3 a ride only. 5. Affordable and good food offerings. Usually theme parks tend to be expensive. But it’s affordable here. We went to town and realized even cheaper. 6. Unlimited hot spring pools to soak. 7. Beautiful swimming pool (the blue oasis in the pictures is the pool) 8. Steam and sauna access. And many more!! They have a total of 11 interactive zones here. When people feedback 2day1 night is not enough I kind of thought I might have time to go to town.. well… 3 days 2 night in the resort and we still find it insufficient too. 😅😅😅 With the beautiful underwater room, we spent time going in and out of the room for rest and pool soak multiple times too.. If you ask me which room type is the best, get the cave rooms as they are in the heart of the resort. Easiest to get around."

"The stay was perfectly fine. Internet worked bathroom small but adequate for your needs. Had a fridge. There's no microwave. Had a functioning air conditioner, had toilet paper and offered towels. Had a washing machine and outlets. The sound from the road is not too loud. There was a bit of a smell, probably from other people smoking in the room. Pat, leaving the window open and after the first couple hours you no longer notice it."
