"Beautiful hotel!! Even though hotel was a few streets away from the station BUT free shuttle service is available. Hotel service was so good including free consultation on activity planning in Zermatt. Would definitely go back to this hotel if I’m coming back to Zermatt in future!!"

"Varattu perhehuone 3 aikuisille ja 1 lapsille. Palvelu etupuolella on erinomainen! Oikein kohtelias, ystävällinen ja informatiivinen. Olemme myös päivittäneet! Huone on puhdas ja tilava ja on parveke. Aiotaan kunnostaa vieressä oven aikana meidän oleskelu lokakuussa 2024. Resort on 2 ravintolaa hotellissa, mutta yksi ilmeisesti vaati varausta ja on istuimen aikaa. Meitä oli nälkä, kun saapui ravintolassa klo 8:00, mutta meille kerrottiin palata klo 830:00 toiseen istumiseen. Tällainen pettymys, kun etupuolen palvelu oli erinomainen. Kun oli illallinen pubissa, ruoka ei ollut liian huono. Spa-asunnot olivat hienoja. Olisi jäädä samaan Ola e jälleen. Arvo rahaa"

"L’hotel è assolutamente fantastico!!!! Siamo arrivati il 13 di Luglio e ci sono venuti a prendere con tutti i bagagli in stazione, dopodiché ci hanno fatto l’ upgrade gratuito alla camera con vista sul Matterhorn!!!!! Una cosa mozzafiato!!!! Davvero stupendo! Tornerò assolutamente anche per la cordialità del personale!! Grazie di cuore!"

"The hotel was in 5 minutes walking from Zermatt train station and it offered free shuttle for check in and out as there was a steep path to the hotel entrance, not good to walk with luggages. I booked 2 bedrooms family suite but only with one bathroom which was the downside. However, the total space of 60 meter sq with a decent living room and a small balcony facing Matterhorn were a plus to the overall stay. There were some minor defects and the staff fixed efficiently. They had an indoor pool, a jacuzzi and a sauna room. I had to mention that the jacuzzi was of high standard and you must go after a day of hiking. So bring your swimming suit. However, please note that in there culture, no clothes are allowed to enter the sauna room and it is in mixed genders. The breakfast buffet was lack of choices. But I had to specially name Mr Fernando, he always welcome us with very good coffee and of course his warm greetings in the morning. Suggestion to the hotel: 1. Stated clearly the number of bathroom/ toilet in the booking details regarding my booking is a 2 bedrooms suite. 2. More choices for breakfast, my family stays 4 nights there. Everyday, the menu is same. 3. The pool was closed at 8pm, will be better if it closes at 9pm as it was rather rush for the guests to use after dinner. Overall, I recommend this hotel to family. I will come back again."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Very near the zermatt train station, just opposite of Macdonald’s. Breakfast had a good selection. Housekeeping would check in on you and offer free chocolates. The only feedback I have is the room didn’t provide English instructions on how to dial the concierge so I had to walk down to request for items."

"For a truly memorable stay in Zermatt, look no further than the Traditional Julen Hotel. We travelled throughout Switzerland, and the view from our Matterhorn room was hands down the best we experienced. Waking up to that iconic peak every morning was simply breathtaking. The service at the Julen is impeccable. The staff is incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to meet every need we had, making us feel truly welcome. Speaking of needs, be sure to grab a bite at their downstairs restaurant. The food is excellent, though the space is a little on the cozy (some might say claustrophobic) side. Don't let that deter you, though - the culinary experience is well worth it. Overall, the Traditional Julen Hotel is a fantastic choice. Splurge on the Matterhorn room for an unforgettable view, and rest assured knowing you'll be taken care of by a truly exceptional team. Highly recommended!"

"Hotel is approximately 10mins walk from Zermatt train station. There is a bus stop to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car station about 4mins away from the hotel, very convenient. The hotel gave us a free upgrade during our stay and the view from the balcony was amazing! The pool and sauna facility looked great but didnt had a chance to try. Highly recommend this hotel going to Zermatt!"

"I traveled with clutch and to the hotel is simply easy walk. Direct opposite the rail station and near all the restaurants and Coop. I used the pool and it’s so nice.The breakfast was wonderful (some FOC selection in menu and a good spread in buffet) and they provide afternoon tea too."

"Lovely stay! Got the matterhorn view suite and it was so beautiful! The receptionist was also very helpful with guiding us with what we can do at Zermatt! However, need to take note that their reception will only be there till 10pm. It’s actually stated but I didn’t read it so when I arrived Zermatt train station at 11pm, I panicked a little. We flag down the taxi at my own cost, 18chf for 3 people and luggages, they dont provide free taxi after 10pm. Also, the entrance door will be closed/locked after 10pm, we rang the bell and the door opened and they left the key with a letter on the counter for the check in. The breakfast place is also overlooking the Matterhorn and it’s so pretty. Stayed for only 1 night but really enjoyed my stay there!"
