"Very convenient and comfortable two night stays here. The location was right in front of the cable car to Sun Island. However, the cable car was so deserted and there was not much thing to see in Sun Island. A few minute walk to Zhongyang street, which was so convenient too. Very close to Metro exit, just across the road. For the room, comfortable with proper heater and flexible with window that I can open to let some air get inside. No smell of Smoking as I always afraid of. Fruits and soup were served in the room both nights with some cards. So cute, hot, and delicious. Great variety of breakfast. Jenny, a staff welcomed us with cute yogurt cups and also bought some box for takeaway food. Good service with a lot of souvenir both checkin and out. A staff, Tim gave us some dried blueberry as a souvenir before we left. There was a shop downstairs in case you need some extra scarfs or gloves or ear-covered. Also laundry room and fitness. Especially, I love billiard table that I took hours to play on my last night."

"It was awesome hotel with superb service from top to bottom. From the time we reached there butler and service staff to welcome us. The reception is at 54 floor, you have take the escalator up and register your stay. Then take the second escalator down to your room of another escavator is you are staying in executive suites. Very interesting, to get down you need to go up to level 54 and take the lift down. To get to the bar u need to take the lift 58. Very nice lounge with interesting cocktails. They use electric toilet bowl which is convenient when the very cold. Been staying here 3 nights when I reached Will come back and stay in the hotel again if I am back to Harbin."

"This was altogether a very nice hotel. It’s conveniently located next to Harbin’s Main Street. The hotel is charming, with decoration that looks out of a Russian novel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The room wasn’t too clean and it smelled a bit of smoke, we requested to change the room and the staff was very accommodating. I think the best part of my stay was the hotel staff, everyone was polite, helpful and lovely. It definitely made my experience better. Special shoutout to Yangyang, who was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. 这是一家非常不错的酒店。它地理位置便利，紧邻哈尔滨主街。酒店很有魅力，装饰仿佛出自俄罗斯小说。房间干净舒适。房间不太干净，还有点烟味，我们请求换房，工作人员非常配合。我觉得我住宿中最棒的部分是酒店工作人员，每个人都很有礼貌、乐于助人且非常友好。这确实让我的体验更好了。特别感谢杨杨，她在整个逗留期间都非常友好和乐于助人。"

"Our family of three, with a two year old daughter stayed for eight nights (28.12.25-05.01.26). Xiao Shuang from the Hotel was extremely helpful and organized a pickup at the airport prior to our arrival. After we got at the hotel in the evening, we came to realize that one of our suitcases was missing.  Xiao Shuang had multiple calls with the driver and the airport authorities and in no time the suitcase was found. She organized a vehicle to deliver it to the hotel. The suitcase was delivered at the hotel the same evening!  Everyone at the hotel was very kind - especially to our daughter and very professional! Everyone was helping fast, regardless of the request!  Xiao Shuang helped us get tickets for the Ice World on a very short notice over WeChat. For our first walk outside in the cold we received a gift for our daughter - warm pads for the feet and body!  On the day of the checkout our family received a goodbye gift!!! We thank everyone at the reception, housekeeping and at the restaurant, especially Xiao Shuang for the lovely stay and the wonderful memories from Harbin! 谢谢🙏！"

"Location is excellent for this hotel. Staff are prompt and helpful with all requests. Very friendly and hospitable too. Love the breakfast! The complimentary photo taking service in the hotel is awesome. They do not force you to pay for additional photos although we did pay for more in the end as we like the photos."

"Junyi Hotel is exceptional! Greeted by all staffs present during our check-in. Throughout the stay, there were so many incredible moments. Easy contact concierge via WeChat. One day we accidentally left our windows open when we left the room, they WeChat us to check if we wanted the room cooler, and that allowed them to help close the windows or we will be returning to a -20deg room after a long day, so thankful. Used the self-service laundry (Free of charge) at the 7th floor. Forgot to collect my laundry and they actually helped to collect and send to our room and even helped to hang dry some not totally dried laundry. There was a day that my slightly late collection of laundry, when I went to the laundry room, it was already taken out and folded nicely in my laundry bag. We did not opt for breakfast, however the hotel have free coffee/tea machine and light snacks daily from 11am. Our rooms were always well made-up. They even gave lighters, warm sticky patch to me for free when I asked them where I could buy them from. There was a day I chance upon the housekeeping staffs cleaning even the walk way display to the most meticulous detail. Junyi hotel really impressed me even though they were my last hotel throughout my 2weeks trip in China. So grateful! Thank you so much!"

"We loved the huge playground with the slide and a ball pit. The room was very big in an open space. Bath tub, shower room and toilet were separated from 2 beds and playground. 1 bed was combined by 2 single king-beds which is huge. The service was great having free ‘good night’ milk and free check-out luggage service. The location was excellent, a few mins walk to the subway or cableway station. A few mins walk to Zhongyang (Central) Street. The breakfast was good, too, having both Chinese & Western food. High recommended, will book it again if we revisit Harbin."

"A true hospitality gem in Harbin In all of our travels through China and Southeast Asia in the last several years, my wife and I have been fortunate to stay in many lovely hotels and inns, and the superbly located Maxx Hotel in Harbin is certainly one of them. Under the excellent management — Mr. Liu Weifeng, and another young female front desk manager whose last name happen to be Liu as well — and their hardworking team of hospitality experts, the Maxx has embraced a true entrepreneurial spirit to provide guests a distinctive, top-tier hospitality experience. After a long train ride, we were in dire need of a comfortable and well-appointed room with view, and we weren’t disappointed! We took our time to decompress and enjoy the large lobby, uniquely positioned on the penthouse 25th floor, to enjoy the panoramic view of the Songhua River and a bird’s eye view of nearly every major attraction of central Harbin and its impressive night-time skyline — of course, all within a minutes relaxing stroll. The Maxx’s amenities include a terrific buffet breakfast featuring local and national cuisines, an afternoon tea, and even late night snacks and beverages. Guests have the liberty of just enjoying the hotel’s amenities or walking to all the major tourist attractions, which we did, like the bustling evening stroll we took on Central Street, or our short walk to marvel at the Russian Orthodox-inspired St. Sofia Cathedral with the special bonus of people watching all the young people dressed in historical and fantastical costumes for photos to embrace the “otherworldly” atmosphere. We also strolled around the Memorial commemorating overcoming the Great Flood of 1957, enjoyed the cool, verdant shade of the beautiful Gen. Zhaolin Li Park, as well as enjoyed the bridges, river ferries, trams, and laser shows — all merely steps away — or if you are in a more relaxing frame of mind watching the entire spectacle from your perch on the 25th floor! We did both. We urge you to visit the Maxx in Harbin and enjoy Mr. Liu and team’s special hospitality. You definitely won’t regret it."

"We stayed at the Shangri-La Harbin Horizon Club for three nights and were thoroughly satisfied. Great location with easy access everywhere, clean room, friendly staff overall. A lovely Reception staff named Gao, Zhongpeng was extremely warm and helpful. I contacted her online prior to arrival; she not only changed a more suitable room type tailored for our family ( 2 adults and one 10 yr) than the original one I booked , but also answered all my questions patiently, ensuring a comfortable and seamless experience for the whole family trip."
