"This hotel is very large and clean. The rooms were very spacious. The only thing is that the heat is 'on' even if you lower the temperature to its lowest setting. Thankfully there was a window to open even though it was -6° outside. The buffet was great with lots of selections. The one & only restaurant for dinner was great. Their large Asian menu provided pictures of all the dishes. The staff in the restaurant was very friendly & helpful. The pool was nice and clean. There was even a lifeguard on duty. The hot tubs were separate in the men's & ladies' change rooms. The only issue was that the front desk staff was very limited with English and there were no concierge services. Other than that we enjoyed our stay at this hotel."

The hotel beautifully blends traditional Chinese architecture with modern elegance, offering a serene and spotless environment that feels both authentic and refined. "I booked two rooms for 4, and we were given rooms beside each other. We arrived late at night around 9.30pm and check in went smoothly. Rooms were very comfortable and were equipped with SMART tech with voice activation! We were also able to check out a little later upon request since our train left later in the afternoon. I also had packages delivered to the reception and had no issues. Location was great and easy to explore the ancient city and also to see the main wall itself. One thing to note is that there isn't a formal drop off point but you can definitely get dropped off and picked up along the side of the road. The room layout was slightly different than the images on Trip.com (I booked a Double bedroom with courtyard view with a stay voucher), but the room was good too although I would have preferred the toilet configuration in the photos. Overall, a great place to stay and I'd definitely stay here again if I get to come back to Datong. They also have a bakery at the lobby and it gets sold out pretty quickly!"

"The hotel was well located. The room exactly like it was described online. We reserved two rooms without windows for one day it was cost efficient! Unfortunately I could not reserve directly 4 breakfast online only two (one per room), we have to pay directly at breakfast for the two others one. We stop at Datong to visited one of UNESCO site and see the all Datong city. We thought more foreigners will visit this beautiful small city. No one speaks English (and that’s ok) but for a 4 stars hotel the front desk lady looks a bit lost with the check in procedure for foreigners (and I work in a 5 stars hotel in beijing so I know the procedure as a French working in China). Also, the isolation is bad, the front desk already inform us upon check in but we did not thought we will heard even the other room bathrooms flush. Thank you for this night your hotel is beautiful"

"帶孩子的二人大同之旅，酒店管家團隊早早主動聯繫，車接車送。 酒店位置絕佳，古城內，東南邑中心，旁邊毗鄰著名的沙棘冰激凌和佛小伴店，關帝廟走不到10分鐘，善化寺打車6分鐘，華嚴寺打車8分鐘，酒店斜對面就是東南邑里最高吃的小店“張張蔬食”，晚上出去衚衕滿樹的紅燈籠，無比愜意鬆弛。 酒店服務主打一個暖心，早飯有小米遼參、刀削麪、烤小黃魚、小排骨、手撕雞、鮮榨各種汁、咖啡牛奶熱乎乎的豆漿，菜品精緻量足誠意滿滿，主打讓你餓不着。晚上在院子裏盪鞦韆，帥氣的男服務員路過看到，笑眯眯走過來：晚上外面涼，如果您覺得冷，我給您端一杯熱水吧！糟糕，怎麼回事，中年老婦女的心動——老公都沒對這麼好啊🥹晚上另一位大眼睛英俊男服務員禮貌敲門：您好，給您送一下今天的晚湯，剛熬出來的有點熱，小朋友注意不要被燙到哈。嚶🥹一壺膳魔師+兩個可愛的小碗端進來，可是我白天已經吃了好多好多了，下午回房間還有滿滿一盤子堅果、小點心和話梅汁？深深感到酒店就怕我餓着😂，必須餵飽。 設施：簡潔、優美、實用，二層晚上古城夜景絕美，洗髮水是我自己家用的牌子，熟悉的味道。格外要説一下浴衣和其他酒店的毛巾感不同，穿着超級舒服（孩子很喜歡）。送了一包蒸汽眼罩，還有浴球、面膜、浴巾、一次性內衣毛巾等一系列、漱口水，第一天的沒用第二天仍然接着送……默默奉獻發光發熱。 最後一天臨走上了車，送了一個大袋子（驚喜！）包裏都是各種特產。😭孩子説太鬆弛太舒服了以後還想來。 忙碌的人們都來被狠狠照顧和治癒一下吧！"

"Hotel is not far from the high speed Railway station and across Wanda shopping centre with lots of restaurants and shops. Daily Fresh fruit and lovely breakfast. Rooms were comfortable with fridge and large bedroom, massive bed. Price was very good and staff is helpful"
