"Had a lovely stay here! I was in a 12 bed dorm but the room is very spacious and has a private bathroom/shower, all super clean, and then bed was comfy. The only thing is that the bedlight makes a sound every time it’s turned on/off: it’s funny but I was a bit worried to bother other guests. Ah, I was also able to do my laundry with no fees and was even given a little welcome bag. The location although not within the city walls is close to several bus stops and one can ride a bike easy to all the major attractions ~ which was a lovely way to explore Datong. The best thing is the staff though: incredibly helpful and friendly. On my last day they let me stay past the checkout time so that I could keep on working using their WiFi which was a massive massive help, and offered to lend me an umbrella and drive me as the rain was so heavy. Most def recommend staying here when you visit Datong!"

"Juuri rautatieaseman takana on kätevä, mene vanhaan kaupunkiin ja syö paljon lähellä. Toinen talo, joka oli ennen vieressä, oli hyvin tyytymätön ja kalliimpi, eikä ollut toivonut tätä taloa. Päätelmät olivat yllättäviä, kustannustehokkaita, epäkohtia on, että ilman sähkö- ja tuulilasi ei ole kovin mukava käytävässä, ja suositeltavaa, jos se voidaan hyväksyä"

"老闆人挺好，住的也挺舒服。不過就是去的時候是旺季，房費不便宜，但是已經屬於當時的便宜了，老闆養的小狗，魚，還有鸚鵡，給小店添了不少的趣味，孩子喜歡和小狗在一起玩，挺好的，老闆人特熱情，每次我都是下樓去接水，老闆熱情的做好水給倒好！"

"This hotel is located in the heart of the ancient city of Datong. Although there were few steps of staircase leading to the entrance of the hotel and the reception was on level 2 and our room type was only available on the 3rd level. Upon check in the hotel staff by the name of Xiao Guo was very helpful and she helped us to carry our luggages to our room at level 3.. There was a small window in our room overseeing the street. The room was spacious and very clean. All corners, fixtures and furnitures in our room were wiped very clean. All amenities were provided inside the room too. The bed mattress and pillow were soft and very comfortable. Body gel, hair shampoo, hair conditioner, hand wash and clothing detergent were all good quality. 2 water bottles, toothbrush, hair comb and slippers were provided in the room. There were space to hang our winter clothing and also washed socks and inner wears. The air-conditioner was superb as it can be adjusted to 4 types of air:normal, wet reduction, cold air and warm air, hence it made our stay more comfortable. There was also an air freshener machine in the room to refresh the air inside the room. So far this is the cleanest hotel room throughout all my China trips. The housekeeper was friendly and ensure the room being cleaned up daily. Overall, I would like to compliment the hotel staff by the name of Xiao Guo for her hospitality and kindness in helping us when we asked her for any information about Datong and places to eat. Xiao Guo always smilling and her warmness has let us felt very welcomed as a hotel guest. Another compliment was to be given to the housekeeper old lady who really did a great job to ensure the cleanliness of our hotel room and the entire hotel public areas. Highly recommended this hotel to all tourist."

"住過七八家青旅後，這家治好了我的選擇困難症！ 這家新開的青旅真的超級超級nice！下面看我娓娓道來 設施：床鋪很大（林林總總住過10餘家青旅，這家親測TOP1️⃣，再也不用擔心睡覺時候把插座打掉了，誰懂這個痛點啊！）、設計超貼心💡，床頭的格子夠高，能隨手放置很多東西 衞生：衞生環境無敵，乾濕分離做的超好，所以清掃工作也很方便就能開展，也不用擔心陰暗的角落！ 男女入門就分宿，安全感拉滿，（就像是洗浴中心那種），公共區域超級多的桌椅和酒水，滿足交友的一切願望！ 服務：老闆人超級無敵好，你要是感興趣還能讓他教你大同方言！ 環境：地理位置步行直達古城🚶，每次回去倒頭就睡，真的超舒服 電器和相關設備堪比五星級。蒸蛋器，微波爐，電吹風，洗衣機…有好多我都是第一次在青旅裏面看到的，真的超級貼心！一定要自己來體驗一下！ 這裏還能租用拍立得！ccd！pocket3！還能和青旅室友們一起組團搭車… 還有超級多的細節等着你自己來發現！我真的超級推薦這裏。 每個細節都寫着”用心”——真的真的不好住算我輸！"

"Ruyuan is an Oyo hotel near the bus and train station (not the high speed one). It may require 10+ minutes in Didi to get to the north city wall and 25 minutes to the high speed train. The staff were welcoming and helpful when i requested help. The room was a great value however the wifi did not work and neither did the sink drain. Overall, this is a good place to stay for the value but not as convenient as somewhere near the old city unless you are using the slow train or bus."
