Amazing hotel! Very friendly staffs and very very convenient location for all the sightseeing spots in Changsha. Great midnight snack and breakfast. If you are staying in Changsha, pick this hotel 😃😃

Loved my stay in this hotel. I've been to several hotels in China including international and local brands and I think this is my favourite stay! The hotel interior is beautiful, the rooms are big but the thing that made it really worth the stay is the warm hospitality from the front desk staff. The moment I booked the hotel, they sent a message for me to add them via WeChat and it was easy for me to reach out to them for any requests, unlike several other hotels I've been to, where it's hard to reach the hotel directly. They helped me collate and collect parcels from the nearby CaiNiao stop when I was in another city and couldn't collect it. I really appreciated that extra mile! When I reached the hotel, the staff walked out to the car in the cold to help us with our luggages and gave us hot tea to warm ourselves up. After check-in, staff also brought our luggages all the way into our room. Within minutes, they texted to ask if it was convenient to send our parcels to our room via robot too. As the hotel is a short walk away from the main road, the staff also assisted with the booking of the cab rides to ensure that the driver drives right to the hotel gate so that we don't have to walk out to the main road. Aside from all these, the bed is comfortable, bathrobes are plush and I love that they have disposable face in towels, makeup removers, anti-slip bathroom slippers, disposable bathtub cover, disposable toilet covers. It's so thoughtful of them to have all these provided. Breakfast packages was a bonus that we really enjoyed as well, all the food was yummy.

My recent two-night stay at The Jewel Hidden Valley was nothing short of wonderful. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this serene and culturally rich retreat provided the perfect escape. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff made us feel right at home. A special mention goes to ”Julie” and ”Zhang Kai Yi” (if I remember correctly), who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Despite the rain, they selflessly helped us with our luggage all the way to our villa—a gesture that truly touched us. Zhang even took the time to personally walk us to the Tong Guan Kiln, which was about 8 minutes away, sharing interesting insights along the way. Their kindness and attentiveness were truly impressive. The hotel’s design and layout are stunning, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings while maintaining a luxurious feel. Our villa was spacious, well-appointed, and immaculately clean, with high-quality amenities and toiletries that added to the comfort. Breakfast was another highlight—the spread was extensive, offering a variety of delicious options that catered to different tastes. Every dish was fresh and flavorful, making it a great start to our days. Overall, The Jewel Hidden Valley exceeded my expectations in every way. The peaceful ambiance, outstanding service, and attention to detail make it a hidden gem worth revisiting. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet, culturally immersive getaway!

長沙的梅雨天太適合泡酒店了，這次邂逅了這家非常棒的酒店！首先地理位置絕佳，就在梅溪湖旁邊，從房間窗户就能看到湖景和城市天際線，酒店的服務人員非常專業熱情，從入住到退房全程體驗都很順暢，前台還主動幫忙升級了房型，經理和管家看我一個人帶着寶寶都很照顧我們，排查房間裏的安全隱患，給寶寶送來故事書、畫板還有玩具，真的太貼心了～ 再説到房間設計，現代又温馨，床品舒適，衞生間佈局我很喜歡，帶寶寶洗澡很方便，洗浴用品品質也不錯。早餐種類豐富，中西式都有，還有管家給我們預約了第二天的下午茶，這裏誇一下甜點師傅，甜點配紅茶真的很愜意，酒店還配有健身房和游泳池，設施都很新。 整體來説，無論是商務出差還是休閑旅行，這裏都是長沙住宿的優質選擇，下次逃離城市一定還會來入住！

I ordered food late at night and there was no robot to deliver it to the room, so I called the front desk if they could bring it to the room. They refused and told me to get it myself. After going to the lobby I see the receptionist talking to the assistant, both of them are clearly not busy. Sure, I can get the food myself but when I'm paying the price for an Intercontinental hotel I would expect top tier service. And I've had hotel assitants bring the food to my room in chinese hotels that costs less than half the price of this one. Besides that, the hotel looked nice, and the room was good. The location is not really great if you plan to walk anywhere, but with a taxi it's acceptable. The view is pretty good if your room is facing south. Facing north (even with river view) it's not that spectacular.

酒店體驗很不錯，房間視野開闊，辦理入住也很迅速，特別是我們有外賣到了，還有機器人可以及時送到房間，設施設備也很齊全，辦理入住的前台全程非常的專業高效，房間床很軟，地毯也很軟，整個設施都很漂亮，特別是酒店的衞浴品牌，香味很好聞，早餐味道可口，大堂服務員很主動熱情，退房，也收到了酒店員工的回訪電話，感覺到被重視，體驗絕佳！特別是酒店位置，實在是太好了，在39高層辦理入住就感覺在雲端居所一樣，體驗很不一般！❤️

We had an awesome stay at the hotel! It looks absolutely gorgeous and bougie feel. We were treated very warmly by the very friendly staff. Managed to get a free upgrade to a room directly overlooking Xiang River! The only thing is that the metro station is quite a long walk away from the hotel. Breakfast has a good spread for sure but food quality can be better and food can be made warmer. Will you stay there again!

I want to dedicate this review exclusively to Dora, one of the staff members who served us during our nine-night stay at Kempinski Changsha. Overall, the staff at Kempinski Changsha were very friendly and helpful. However, Dora's service stood out in a special way. Her friendliness, initiative, and warm smile made a lasting impression on us. She consistently paid attention to our needs and requests, always striving to ensure our comfort. Dora went above and beyond to fulfill what we needed during our stay. When we were in the executive lounge, Dora also took the initiative to make me a cocktail, but I wanted a mocktail, and she said that she could arrange it for me, and the taste of Dora's mocktail was very delicious, one named it Sweet Strawberry and the other one is Orange! When we stay at hotels, we usually spend little time in the executive lounge and prefer relaxing in our room. However, thanks to Dora's exceptional service, we felt completely comfortable and ended up staying in the executive lounge for a longer time! Every 5-star hotel offers a distinct room atmosphere, but the quality of service from the staff, like Dora, ultimately influences our decision to return to this hotel. As for now, we don’t know when we will go back to Changsha City, but the next time we go back to Changsha, we will definitely choose to stay at Kempinski Changsha again!

The staff is outstanding, from the workers in the lobby, to Swank, to the staff at the lounge, and everyone at the reception desk. The service was exceptional, and hotel premises were excellent! The food and drink we were offered were also outstanding. In short, we would return to Changsha just to stay in your hotel again. Many thanks to you all!!

This hotel really redefines what high quality service at luxury hotels should be - personable, friendly, attentive, and professional. The staff are eager to be helpful, are extremely communicative and responsive via WeChat, and cater to your every needs. My impression before I arrived was already a positive one because they helped me arrange two packages to be sent in advance to the hotel. They even let me use their contact details as the contact number to make the order as I did not have a local phone number. Upon arrival, the packages were waiting for us and housekeeping took away the leftover packaging. They also offer a free laundry service and I cannot emphasise how soft and nice smelling our clothes were when we received our freshly laundered clothes. The bathroom amenities are the luxury brand Le Labo and the water provided is the mineral water brand Evian. Of course they also have Dyson hair dryers. The daily breakfasts are truly decadent with abalone on our first morning and Angus sirloin on our second morning. We can order seconds of any of the dishes we liked. Fruit juices are freshly made. The barista even made takeaway drinks for us to enjoy on our outings. Afternoon tea and evening soups are also provided and guests can choose what time they would like it to be served and where (for example, hotel room or hotel lounge). They even prepared cold milk for us to soothe us after we returned from dinner eating some local spicy Changsha chicken. Truly outstanding service! One of the things that sets this hotel apart from any other we have stayed at are the afternoon activities they offer to their guests. On our second day we enjoyed a Cloisonné enamel class in the hotel and we will certainly be displaying the fruits of our hard work in our home when we return home. All the materials were provided to us and one of the lovely staff provided instructions and was extremely patient with us despite the language barrier. Such unique experiences on offer each day really make the stay so enjoyable for guests. I can understand why this hotel was won so many accolades. The staff really have earnt this award. It is thanks to their dedication that this hotel has earnt such a prestigious reputation. It is genuinely worth every penny! I am not sure when we will return to Changsha but it is exciting to know that the hotel does have another branch in Chengdu which we will be keen to visit, perhaps next year. All I can say is that I will always have fond memories of this hotel and particularly its staff and this hotel has certainly set the bar high for outstanding service.
