We had such a special stay at Tribe Amsterdam. I mentioned when booking that it was my birthday and our anniversary, and when we arrived we were greeted with the sweetest surprise. a hand drawn birthday and anniversary message on the mirror, balloons, and a bottle of free champagne. It honestly made our day and felt so personal. The hotel itself is stylish, clean, and really comfortable. The room was modern and cosy, there’s even a smart tv so you can enjoy your netflix nights in . The staff were friendly, welcoming, and clearly care about the little details. The location is also super convenient, it’s right next to the station and only two stops away from central Amsterdam, which made getting around so easy. Would definitely recommend!!! ⭐️

We stayed at Novotel Amsterdam City in standard twin rooms for a family holiday (6 of us), and overall it was a great experience. Mr. Oman at the reception was super friendly and gave us a warm welcome during check-in. He also helped make sure all our requests were met; connecting rooms, 2 single beds, same floor, and next to each other. Really appreciated that! The only downside was one male receptionist (Middle Eastern-looking) who didn’t seem very welcoming. He was quite passive and seemed unwilling when I asked for help with temporarily storing our luggage.

We being offered to change the hotel to next door Tribe hotel and provide 1 day of free hotel breakfast for 4pax. Still the Tribe hotel service was great and breakfast was delicious too. My daughter left her iPad in the safe at the room and when we called the hotel they can quickly check for us and sent us confirmation. Location is not central but consider near which 2 stops away, and just next to Noord train station.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent and made it very convenient for exploring the Amsterdam central station area. Our room was comfortable, the building is stylish, and we enjoyed our time here. There are a couple of areas where improvement would make the experience even better. First, the reception staff were chatting with each other while assisting us. It wasn’t a big issue, but it did feel a little unprofessional. Second, the lifts could use some attention. They were quite slow during our stay, and on the day we checked out, none of them were working. We waited for about 15 minutes and eventually had to walk down 10 floors to reception (luckily, we didn’t have heavy luggage). What surprised us more was that the reception staff seemed unaware of the problem and didn’t acknowledge that there was an issue when we and other guests told her so.

The hotel was good—decent and very clean. It’s also very well located when it comes to transportation. Getting there from the airport is easy; it’s just two stops by train. The tram and bus stations are only about three minutes away from the hotel, making it convenient to travel to any part of Amsterdam. With the kitchen facilities available, you don’t necessarily need to eat out—you can prepare your own meals. However, if you do feel like dining, there’s a Breakfast Club just three minutes away, which was very satisfying.

Yövyimme kaksi yötä Jazz in the City -hotellissa Amsterdamissa. Hotelli itsessään oli moderni, siisti ja mukava, ja siinä oli kaikki tarvitsemamme mukavuudet. Sisäänkirjautuminen sujui mutkattomasti ja huone oli loistava, vaikkakin huomasimme pienen napsahtelun valojen jäähtyessä yöllä, mikä oli hieman häiritsevää pitkän lennon jälkeen. Sijainti on kaupungin keskustan ulkopuolella, lähellä areenaa, joten se sopii parhaiten tapahtumiin siellä eikä nähtävyyksien katseluun. Lähimmälle rautatieasemalle on melko pitkä kävelymatka, ja se oli aluksi hieman hankala löytää. Yksi vinkki: aseman lippuautomaatit hyväksyivät vain käteistä, eivät kortteja, mikä vaikeutti asioita meille saapuessamme (varsinkin sunnuntaina, kun muut päivälippuvaihtoehdot olivat suljettuina). Onneksi olimme jo ostaneet 24 tunnin lipun edellisenä päivänä, minkä ansiosta pystyimme matkustamaan uudelleen ja hankkimaan uudet liput myöhemmin. Aamiainen ei sisältynyt hintaan, joten haimme vain ruokaa kaupungista joka päivä. Kaiken kaikkiaan vankka ja mukava majoitus, jos et välitä olla keskustan ulkopuolella, ja lippujen suunnittelulla se toimii hyvin budjettiystävällisenä tukikohtana Amsterdamissa.

Always have enjoyed the location which is only within a ten-minute walk from the main train station of Amsterdam. Often I reserve the spa room where an enormous soak tub/jacuzzi is included. Very friendly staffs!

We had a great time in this related environment, great breakfast, location and the room with canal view was excellent. The hotel offers a free drink token in exchange for not having your room cleaned.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Postillion. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and cozy, and the location was perfect.I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again!

Sustainability: great to know the hotel used to be a church. The municipality gave the approval with the old structure in place
