Rooms and toilets are clean, they have soaps/shampoo in showers and gives towels to you. They have ok breakfast also. Bed are with curtains and space for luggage under bed with electronic key. Location is perfect. Just in the center and walking distance from central train station .People work there are friendly and helpful. Will stay here again if i come again!

Lähellä hotellia *** sijaitsevan pohjakerroksen pubi on kätevä tapa viettää aikaa ystävien kanssa, mutta melu on korviahuumaavaa. Univaikeuksista kärsivät eivät suosittele tätä paikkaa. Neljän hengen huoneessa on kohtuullinen yksityisyys, ja siinä on elektronisella lukolla varustettu säilytyslokero. Sängyn lähellä on eurooppalaisstandardin mukainen pistorasia ja USB-latausportti. Jokaisessa kerroksessa on lokeroita 6 € päivässä. Kylpyhuoneet ja wc:t ovat suhteellisen puhtaita ja niissä on pyyhkeet, mutta hiustenkuivaajaa ei ole, joten ota omat mukaan. Hissi ei toimi, joten matkatavaroiden kanssa portaiden ylös ja alas kulkeminen on vaikeaa. Se on hyvä valinta reppureissaajille. Sijainti on noin 15 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä päärautatieasemalta, ja kaikki pikaraitiotie- ja bussilinjat ovat 10 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Tarjolla on myös runsaasti ruokailumahdollisuuksia. Hinta on noin 90 € kahdelta yöltä, mikä tekee siitä yhden Amsterdamin halvemmista hostelleista, mutta varaaminen etukäteen on suositeltavaa, koska hinnat voivat olla vielä korkeammat heinä- ja elokuussa, sesongin huippuaikoina.

The location is great, right in downtown and very convenient walking around in the center of Amsterdam. Room was especially small, not a big hotel, think they gave me their smallest room with a view of the internal air-well in the basement. The room was not even big enough to open up my luggage completely so I had to unpack out a few clothing as I was staying there for a few nights and luckily able to store my closed luggage beneath the bed. Toilet was small but looked as if it was recently upgraded in the last few years, it looked fairly new although there were some drain flies flying around in the toilet and could have been cleaned or exterminated better. Bed was surprisingly a double for such a small room and was comfortable enough. I had an issue with the receptionist opening my room door without knocking at all while I was stark naked and about to head into the toilet for a shower. Did not think that it was professional no matter the reason for doing so - apparently she was confused and open up the wrong door. Knocking on door and waiting for an answer should be a universal practice by all hospitality staff across any hospitality properties. Room was expensive for the size but it was centrally located and comfortable enough.

Very small room, reminded me of the Apple Dorm in Hong Kong. It says double room but can only sleep one person. Staff were quick and kinda cold. Not really a warm experience. 24/7 check in/out no problem.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for couples. The bed is TINY and we had to sleep top and tail to fit in the bed. Loads of stag groups causing carnage and shouting inappropriate comments to passers by. The bar downstairs is nice, but hotel staff are a bit dismissive. The shower steam set off our alarm in the room and the lady from the desk was outside our room banging on the door in seconds. She stormed in and I explained what happened and she didn’t believe me and took it upon herself to check the shower room.. made us feel uncomfortable as the whole hotel smelt like **** so other people were clearly smoking inside! The location is great if you want to be in the heart of Amsterdam, it’s 2 streets from the red light (make of that what you will). We wouldn’t stay again, we prefer to stay in a further out hotel and commute into the centre by tram.

Vilkkaalla keskusta-alueella sijaitseva hotelli tarjoaa erinomaiset liikenneyhteydet ja on helposti saavutettavissa sekä autolla että julkisilla liikennevälineillä. Huoneeni oli tilava ja mukava, ylellisesti sisustettu mutta kodikas. Pehmeä ja mukava sänky takasi hyvät yöunet. Huone oli hyvin varusteltu, ja siinä oli nopea Wi-Fi, taulutelevisio ja ylelliset kylpyhuonetuotteet. Lisäksi hotelli tarjosi ilmaisen aamiaisen, jonka ansiosta sain nauttia herkullisesta päivän alusta.

We had been really concerned after pre paying this hotel then reading bad reviews that had us convinced we would need to wear plastic suits the entire visit,, so I thought I'd give my review based around the concerns we had read, to try and be helpful ! some of the things were true , the sheets did come off the bed on mine but I wiggle but my friends both stayed on their beds. super annoying but I just slid it back on and you can always throw your cover over it instead and ask for another . Fortunately we didn't come across the bed bugs people mentioned !, the cat seemed happy and not flea ridden.. however the room was clean enough , no obvious mould. The beds were comfortable enough. The bathroom was clean and quite nice It wasn't huge but had ample.space for our things in the triple person room . It's an old building with narrow windy stairs I'm glad the elevator worked. it's not a relax and sit in all day hotel..it's a place to sleep , shower ...charge your phone and keep your belongings. The coffee machine was fine as far as basic goes. The staff were fine There was a fifty euro deposit on the desk, we just asked for a receipt after other things mentioned in reviews and were given a written one with no problem on leaving . We were offered one free housekeeping day as we stayed 4 nights but opted not to use it due to theft mentioned in reviews.. We stayed at the main hotel so I don't know if all the bad reviews were from the other or we just got lucky with our room but we had no problems, and when I went rustling down before hours looking for coffee the guy did help me before reception opened. It's no paradise of a place , there are marks on the walls but faint...if you're fussy it's not the place for you but for the price and location, we really didn't mind it . It's a super great location as a base with a trendy area behind it And a really cool vegan restaurant a tiny walk away a pub downstairs and metro train a stone's throw away If you have the option to pay on arrival ask to see.your room first.you could take that route Just to be safe, but all up it was fine..3 women travelling together there was no unsafe feeling there . We didn't find it noisy.

In general, this hotel is fair, especially with its great location. The city tram stop is just downstairs and there are 2 metro stations nearby. Just the hotel is a bit run-down; everywhere gives you an aged feeling. But it’s a tidy and clean hotel. The shower head is slightly broken with water leaking from its head, so need to take notice when using it hot and some damages to the mirror etc. Also if you have heavy luggage and suitcases, do take notice of the steep staircases. There is no elevator.

The hotel is one star itself with no lift. One has to carry luggage upstairs at lease one level (to level 1) or to level 3 with steep stairs. The very good part is location. The breakfast is so so and the coffee is ok.
