"I booked for layover flight. Convinient and clean. Got big locker fit for medium luggage, towel, tootbrush and the pod bed. One thing that the shared bathroom have some strange smell, but it looks clean.
I just check in, put my luggage, and go out for a while. Back to get ready for my flight. You can check in on the spot, but the price online is cheaper, they also do 6 hours stay but cannot do online for that 6 hours."

"As a solo traveller I found this hotel to be good value for money because it is along Jalan Melasti - the street up from the entrance gate to Pantai Legian (ie Legian Beach 500m). There are half a dozen restaurants within a 400m walk ranging from the delicious and fancy Bella Italia or the Lemongrass and the more affordable “Uncle Norm’s” and “The Goat”. The location is 1km from the Bali bombing memorial in Kuta. The airport is about a $10-$13 AUD Gojek /Grab ride away (15minutes depending on time of day and traffic.
My room had a nice queen sized bed and they promptly provided me with a kettle after I asked for one. The staff are very young and maybe not the most fluent in English but they mean well. It helps to ask them in basic English (a few times) so they get my instructions (asking for water or directions etc). The room has a decent bathroom and the only issue I had was that my room was consistently in the dark as there are no windows. There is a door that leads out onto a weird ledge that unfortunately or oddly is shared by the neighbor (meaning if I step out and the neighbor steps out we can go into each others rooms). I just kept that particular door shut because I saw through the curtain that the neighbor had his door open so he could smoke. I didn’t want to make contact or have smoke come in. It’s not a major issue for me but just be aware. Oh btw…the ledge or balcony looks onto nothing but a brick wall. Overall I’m inclined to say that you’re getting value for money because you get a clean room, comfy bed in a central location. The breakfast is brought into your room at your nominated time (between 7-10.30am). Breakfast is an omlette, 2 pieces of bread, coffee, orange juice and small sausages along with 3 small Indonesian sweets). Not exactly a hearty meal but what do you expect for $5? I stayed a month and it suited my needs."

"As a solo male traveler whose sole purpose was to chase waves, I found POP! Hotel Kuta Beach to be a surprisingly good basecamp. For just $17 a night, it's an absolute steal, offering far more value than its price tag suggests.
The hotel itself is a cozy, meaning it's got a unique, no-frills charm that works perfectly for a surf trip. My room was clean and tidy, and the air-conditioning was a lifesaver after a long day in the tropical heat. One of the biggest perks was the Netflix access, which was a great way to unwind and chill out in the evenings.
The only real area for improvement was the shower. While it did eventually get warm, it took a while for the heater to kick in, which was a minor inconvenience. However, given the ridiculously low price, it's a small trade-off I was more than willing to make.
If you're on a tight budget and need a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to crash between surf sessions, this is it. You're getting incredible value for your money and a place that understands what a no-fuss traveler needs. I can't ask for more, really."

"It is a good location and affordable price. But the cleanliness might improve, especially the toilet/bathroom.
Besides, I really hope the owners can set a rule that can not eat inside the room or smoke inside the house. The smells are a bit scary. At least it can be avoided.
Lastly, please consider provided or offered some stuffs example bath gel/shampoo, or slippers or some blocking infront of door instead let the rain flooding into house and floor is wet after every raining."

"In terms of budget accommodation options in Canggu, it’s hard to find a better deal than this place. The room is spacious, there’s a really nice desk space, a nice balcony kind of area, decent shower, and a clean pool.
The staff are very attentive and pleasant, and the turn down service is good.
The only mark down for this hotel is that it’s not as in the heart of Canggu as places I’ve stayed before, however it’s literally 10 minutes on a bike, so no problems at all.
Within a minutes walk, there is a decent clothes shop that sells delicious coffee (pictured below), and a further minute up the road in either direction are an M Mart, and a hand full of restaurants, so you’re covered if you need late night snacks and refreshments.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place, and would also stay here again.
(I extended my stay here)."

Unusual, natural, beautiful! Real Bali, without the tourist trappings, no hustle and bustle, just pure nature, an authentic atmosphere, and genuine, warm-hearted people! The eco-hotel's grounds are simply stunning! So much work and love has clearly been put into them. There are flowers all around, an avocado garden, coffee trees, a well-mown lawn, and the plunge pools with spring mountain water are a godsend! You can swim and even fill up with clean mountain water to drink from the spring. There's a natural pool for children.
The staff and owners are a wonderful family, such warm, caring people! Many thanks and love to the owner, Yuni! ❤️ She explains everything, helps with everything, is always welcoming, and she cooks local Balinese dishes so deliciously! We were greeted warmly, as if we were visiting good friends. 🤗
The cottages are well-spaced, spaced apart from each other, so no one disturbs anyone else. Each has an area where you can light a fire in the evening under a roof protected from the rain. The cottage has two floors: the top floor has a bed and a balcony, and the ground floor has a living room, toilet, and shower, all in the fresh air. Shampoo and hot water are provided. Incidentally, the water is also mountain hot water. The blankets are pleasantly warm, the bed linen is good, and there are plenty of pillows. There's no air conditioning or heating in the cottage, but it's not necessary—the temperature is very comfortable even with the windows open. There's a café on-site with stunning mountain views. The hostess prepares breakfast and also serves Indonesian dishes à la carte any time of day (until 9:00 PM). The grilled ocean fish with local sauce was magical!👌👍
The air is so clean here! The views are breathtaking, the silence, the forest, the mountains, the flowers, and the gardens—it's truly peaceful.
The price is very reasonable for Bali.
We also swam in a mountain river, near a small waterfall 200 meters from the hotel.☺️

Необыкновенно, природно, красиво! Настоящий Бали, без туристической обертки, без суеты, шума, только чистая природа, аутентичная атмосфера, настоящие душевные люди! Территория эко отеля облагорожена просто изумительно! Столько труда и любви видно вложено. Кругом цветы, сад авокадо, деревья кофе, газон пострижен, а купели бассейны с ключевой горной водой - просто находка! Можно и купаться и даже набрать из родника питьевой чистой горной воды. Есть природный бассейн для детей.
Персонал, хозяева - чудесная семья, какие душевные, заботливые люди! Большая благодарность и любовь хозяйке Yuni! ❤️ Обо всём расскажет, всё поможет, всегда приветлива, а как вкусно готовит местные балийские блюда! Нас радушно встретили, как в гости к хорошим друзьям приехали. 🤗
Домики хорошо расположены, на расстоянии друг от друга, никто никому не мешает. С видом на сад. У каждого есть зона, где можно пожечь костёр вечером под крышей от дождя. В домике 2 этажа, на верхнем кровать и балкончик, а на первом гостиная и туалет, душ, на свежем воздухе. Есть шампунь и горячая вода. Кстати, вода тоже с гор. Приятные тёплые одеяла, хорошее постельное бельё, много подушек. В домике нет кондиционеров и отопления, но этого и не нужно - температура очень комфортная даже с открытыми окнами. На территории кафе с потрясающим видом на горы. Хозяйка готовит завтраки и ещё по меню в любое время дня (до 21:00) индонезийские блюда. Рыба из океана на гриле под местным соусом была волшебная!💛👌
Какой чистый воздух здесь! Виды захватывающие, тишина, лес, горы, цветы и сады - умиротворение.
Цена очень демократичная для Бали. А ещё мы купались в горной реке, у маленького водопада в 200 метрах от отеля. 👍

It's like a small villa homestay. I reached after 9pm, managed to check in quite smoothly.
Room was good for the price I paid. Only comment is that I thought there will be toiletries as I read in some earlier reviews.
It is very near to the main street from their back door, but have to walk past neighbours house and a small alley.
When I returned, there was a neighbour's dog barking and I couldn't get to the hotel.
Luckily I managed to enter from the front which is a few hundred metres walk.
Breakfast was at a restaurant at the end of the small alley along the main street. Food was fine but a little salty for me.
When I returned after breakfast, I was blocked by another neighbour's dog, which chased/followed me out of the alley and I ran back to the breakfast restaurant.
Fortunately, one of the restaurant staff ”escorted” me back.

Some holes in doors/walls so you hear everything, road (quiet at night if not for the occasional motorbike), mosque and other customers. Nice staff and marking area has space. Hot water, coffee and tea available. 250k walk in rate for non ac/tv room, add 50 for these two and/or 50 for breakfast.

But I wont blame the hotel, because I have the strong feeling trip used a.g.o.d.a as a third party and put the wrong information.
The view from our room was very nice, and we had the banana pancake for breakfast that was excellent. It is a good accomodation for the price and I would recommend it. But next time I would choose a room with AC

We were traveling as two couples and honestly did not expect to find such a beautiful and peaceful place away from the busy tourist routes.
The hotel is charming, very well maintained, and has a special atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed from the first moment. It is also conveniently located close to one of Bali’s famous attractions, Lohongan Sweet, which was a wonderful bonus for us.
The owner is absolutely wonderful — incredibly welcoming and attentive. His hospitality made us feel at home and even made us wish to extend our vacation and stay here longer.
We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay.
