"I booked for layover flight. Convinient and clean. Got big locker fit for medium luggage, towel, tootbrush and the pod bed. One thing that the shared bathroom have some strange smell, but it looks clean. I just check in, put my luggage, and go out for a while. Back to get ready for my flight. You can check in on the spot, but the price online is cheaper, they also do 6 hours stay but cannot do online for that 6 hours."

"As a solo male traveler whose sole purpose was to chase waves, I found POP! Hotel Kuta Beach to be a surprisingly good basecamp. For just $17 a night, it's an absolute steal, offering far more value than its price tag suggests. The hotel itself is a cozy, meaning it's got a unique, no-frills charm that works perfectly for a surf trip. My room was clean and tidy, and the air-conditioning was a lifesaver after a long day in the tropical heat. One of the biggest perks was the Netflix access, which was a great way to unwind and chill out in the evenings. The only real area for improvement was the shower. While it did eventually get warm, it took a while for the heater to kick in, which was a minor inconvenience. However, given the ridiculously low price, it's a small trade-off I was more than willing to make. If you're on a tight budget and need a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to crash between surf sessions, this is it. You're getting incredible value for your money and a place that understands what a no-fuss traveler needs. I can't ask for more, really."

"The service was great, there is a 25/7 front desk, the room was always left impeccable, clean towels, a tucked in bed, the staff is very friendly and welcoming, felt like staying at home, they also provide a laundry service, there is a kitchen and you may order food from them too! Definitely coming back as soon as I am in Canggu"

"As a solo traveller I found this hotel to be good value for money because it is along Jalan Melasti - the street up from the entrance gate to Pantai Legian (ie Legian Beach 500m). There are half a dozen restaurants within a 400m walk ranging from the delicious and fancy Bella Italia or the Lemongrass and the more affordable “Uncle Norm’s” and “The Goat”. The location is 1km from the Bali bombing memorial in Kuta. The airport is about a $10-$13 AUD  Gojek /Grab ride away (15minutes depending on time of day and traffic.  My room had a nice queen sized bed and they promptly provided me with a kettle after I asked for one. The staff are very young and maybe not the most fluent in English but they mean well. It helps to ask them in basic English (a few times) so they get my instructions (asking for water or directions etc). The room has a decent bathroom and the only issue I had was that my room was consistently in the dark as there are no windows. There is a door that leads out onto a weird ledge that unfortunately or oddly is shared by the neighbor (meaning if I step out and the neighbor steps out we can go into each others rooms). I just kept that particular door shut because I saw through the curtain that the neighbor had his door open so he could smoke. I didn’t want to make contact or have smoke come in. It’s not a major issue for me but just be aware. Oh btw…the ledge or balcony looks onto nothing but a brick wall. Overall I’m inclined to say that you’re getting value for money because you get a clean room, comfy bed in a central location. The breakfast is brought into your room at your nominated time (between 7-10.30am). Breakfast is an omlette, 2 pieces of bread, coffee, orange juice and small sausages along with 3 small Indonesian sweets). Not exactly a hearty meal but what do you expect for $5? I stayed a month and it suited my needs."

"Kind of hard to find first, not accessible by car. Isn’t you typical hotel. Friendly staff. First night we had a problem with the AC - there was rotten egg smell coming from it (Hope they are fixing it) but luckily the staff was friendly and they gave us a new room."

"This hotel is very good, the localisation is perfect, not too far away from the center of Ubud, but not to near, so there is no noise. The environment is beautiful."

"Booked this hotel for one night stay while waiting for my friends to arrive the following day. It's like a small villa homestay. I reached after 9pm, managed to check in quite smoothly. Room was good for the price I paid. Only comment is that I thought there will be toiletries as I read in some earlier reviews. It is very near to the main street from their back door, but have to walk past neighbours house and a small alley. When I returned, there was a neighbour's dog barking and I couldn't get to the hotel. Luckily I managed to enter from the front which is a few hundred metres walk. Breakfast was at a restaurant at the end of the small alley along the main street. Food was fine but a little salty for me. When I returned after breakfast, I was blocked by another neighbour's dog, which chased/followed me out of the alley and I ran back to the breakfast restaurant. Fortunately, one of the restaurant staff ”escorted” me back."

"Hotel Dee Mansion lokasinya Strategis walaupun masuk jalan kecil. Di sekitar hotel banyak jual makanan, mini market bahkan Laundry. Fasilitas lumayan buat backpacker. Ada dapur dan bisa masak sendiri. Sewa alat masak 20rb/hari. Tambah extra bed 80rb/hari. Hanya kebersihannya saja masih perlu ditingkatkan. Untuk petugas pelayanan lumayan respon bila kita membutuhkan sesuatu. Bahkan waktu mau checkout, jam 11.30 sudah diingatkan"
