"Hotelli oli enemmän kuin hieno maksamaani hintaan, joka oli alle 300 000 IDR Haittoja: Ilmastointi toimi lämpimänä, eikä näyttänyt säädettävältä. Jotkut kylpyhuoneen kalusteet olivat omituisia, esim. Suihkukytkintä on vaikea vetää ja kytkeä, - joten piti vetää ja pitää sitä ensin, sitten käynnistää vesi Suihkuvesi valuu koko lattialle - koska se peittää kylpyammeen yläkerroksen, - sitten vuotaa yli lattialle - koska siinä ei ole huulta, joka estäisi veden valumisen. "I had a truly wonderful stay at Aksari Resort. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, the overall experience was exceptional, and what stood out the most was the staff. Every single staff member I encountered was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and attentive. Their service felt genuine rather than just professional, and you could really sense that they cared about making guests feel comfortable and welcome. They were not only friendly but also very intuitive - always noticing small details and offering help before I even needed to ask. This level of attentiveness made the stay feel very special and personal. I especially appreciated how accommodating they were during breakfast. While I initially wished there were a bit more variety in the menu, when I mentioned it, they kindly offered to bring additional items separately. This flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile made a big difference and showed their commitment to guest satisfaction. - also when I need to check out early in the morning, they prepared the packed to go if I requested earlier. Another highlight was the shuttle service to Ubud. It was extremely convenient and made it easy to explore the area without worrying about transportation. Having this service available added so much value to the stay and made the overall experience even more enjoyable. I also want to sincerely apologize because the staff had written their names down for me so I could mention them individually in this review, but unfortunately I lost the note. I feel very sorry about that because they truly deserved to be recognized one by one. Every single person I met was warm, professional, and attentive, and their kindness left a lasting impression on me. Overall, the hospitality at Aksari Resort was outstanding. The service was thoughtful, detailed, and consistent throughout my stay. It’s clear that the team takes great pride in what they do, and it made the entire experience memorable. I would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Bali, especially if you value attentive service, a peaceful atmosphere, and a team that genuinely cares about their guests. I would happily stay here again in the future."

"As a solo traveller I found this hotel to be good value for money because it is along Jalan Melasti - the street up from the entrance gate to Pantai Legian (ie Legian Beach 500m). There are half a dozen restaurants within a 400m walk ranging from the delicious and fancy Bella Italia or the Lemongrass and the more affordable “Uncle Norm’s” and “The Goat”. The location is 1km from the Bali bombing memorial in Kuta. The airport is about a $10-$13 AUD  Gojek /Grab ride away (15minutes depending on time of day and traffic.  My room had a nice queen sized bed and they promptly provided me with a kettle after I asked for one. The staff are very young and maybe not the most fluent in English but they mean well. It helps to ask them in basic English (a few times) so they get my instructions (asking for water or directions etc). The room has a decent bathroom and the only issue I had was that my room was consistently in the dark as there are no windows. There is a door that leads out onto a weird ledge that unfortunately or oddly is shared by the neighbor (meaning if I step out and the neighbor steps out we can go into each others rooms). I just kept that particular door shut because I saw through the curtain that the neighbor had his door open so he could smoke. I didn’t want to make contact or have smoke come in. It’s not a major issue for me but just be aware. Oh btw…the ledge or balcony looks onto nothing but a brick wall. Overall I’m inclined to say that you’re getting value for money because you get a clean room, comfy bed in a central location. The breakfast is brought into your room at your nominated time (between 7-10.30am). Breakfast is an omlette, 2 pieces of bread, coffee, orange juice and small sausages along with 3 small Indonesian sweets). Not exactly a hearty meal but what do you expect for $5? I stayed a month and it suited my needs."

"I stayed in the deluxe double room for 4 nights and Overall the hotel was decent. Balcony was small but ok. Bed was clean didn’t find any issues , there was tiny bugs inside the wardrobe but I’ve found these in every hotel over Bali and think they’re pretty standard. There’s not much to complain about , staff was very friendly - they’ll hold your luggage after check out , pool is cleaned daily , housekeeping is swift and efficient. The location isn’t the best but it’s not terrible , they did construction on the road so now it’s a smooth journey when on bikes or in car - it’s like a 4 minute walk to the “main road” with all the shops and everything else. For the price I’d stay again. Would recommend if you just need a night or two for a very affordable price."

"Pandawa Homestay is a rare find. We originally booked in for 3 days and left to go to Kuta Beach. After two days we left our accommodation in Kuta early to return to Pandawa Homestay. The rooms are large the swimming pools beautifully clean and the breakfast the best we have had in Bali. But the standout feature is the amazing staff. The level of service exceeded our expectations and better than many five star international hotels where we have stayed. Every request was met without question. We were greeted like family members and this exceptional level of professionalism and genuine kindness was maintained throughout our stays. As a consequence we returned 3 times during our month long holiday in Bali. Congratulations Pandawa Family Stay."

"Poppies is a lovely bungalow complex just perfect for couples. It wouldn’t suit families as the pool is quite small, and the room has just one queen bed. Gardens are lovely and well kept, and being right on Poppies Lane 1, has many small generic and speciality shops within an easy walk, right in the lane. Guests should be aware though that opposite the entrance are a group of menacing dogs, which came out to us and were a real risk. The staff were very understanding of this, though probably can’t control the open gate which was where they had escaped. As there is a high risk of rabies in Bali, guests should be aware that this could pose a problem. The breakfasts were probably the best and most varied we had on our recent trip, and Poppies Restarurant nearby is a lovely setting to enjoy those. Pics are of the cottages, gardens, the pool and restaurant."

"Very nice and helpful stuff, very friendly and open to help, they made a great impression, Villa is very nice and clean, location is pretty good for Kelingking beach by foot only 10min away, broken beach and crystal bay also not far from there by car, rooms are spacious bathroom very clean, pool is also nice and clean with water massagers, overall great stay here! I would recommend to everyone"

"Замечательный отель в самом центре Чангу. Шум стройки не мешал совсем. Понравилось, что есть парковка под крышей и охрана 24/7, за сохранность вещей можно не переживать. Номер очень уютный, всё из дерева, спишь как младенец. Единственное, чего не хватило, так это окна в номере. В остальном 5 баллов."

"Tämä lomakeskus oli täynnä yllätyksiä ja ylitti odotukseni. Varasin huoneen ilman yksityistä uima-allasta, koska en aikonut viettää lomakeskuksessa suurta osaa päivästä. Olimme suunnitelleet menevämme ulos oleskelumme aikana. Mutta hotelli antoi meille ilmaisen päivityksen! Mikä miellyttävä yllätys! Hämmästyttävää kyllä, uima-altaan ympärillä oli hyvin vähän hyönteisiä jopa yöllä, eikä huoneessa ollut hyönteisiä ollenkaan. Ruoka oli myös varsin hyvää! Ainoa haittapuoli on sijainti, joka on hieman kaukana Ubudin keskustan hälinästä."
