A great escape from city life. Very relaxing environment with green and country side feel. Lunch and dinner is very delicious. A stroll to the tulou is not far away and you can enjoy the scenery throughout. Since this area is in a tulou scenic area, you will need to apply for a pass RMB 90 to get through security. Advisable to call the minsu and ask them for application procedure especially for foreigners. Age above 65 is free to enter . The only cons is that the mattress is too thin. Overall it is a very wonderful stay . Love this place..

超乎預期的一次入住！先表揚前台小姐姐的熱情服務，在就是房間的採光太好了，一進門就被滿屋的陽光驚艷到了，窗外的景色綠意盎然，室內佈置得温馨雅緻，而且打掃得非常乾淨。酒店旁邊是幾十年的老店，午飯順便解決了，味道也是極好！距離古城3-5分鐘就到了，吃住玩都方便，而且床品柔軟舒適，晚上睡得特別香。強烈推薦給在意居住環境的朋友！

More than a Stay - A Warm Family Welcome in the Heart of the Tulou! From the moment we arrived, we were treated not as tourists, but as guests of the family. The hosts – the Father, Mother, and their Son – are the soul of this place. They are incredibly friendly and go so far above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and special. The Son was our main point of contact and coordinated everything for us with great patience. He arranged our visit to the magnificent 振成楼 (Zhencheng Lou, the ”Prince of Tulou”), with Mother sharing fascinating stories about its history that you won't find in guidebooks. But where this family truly shines is in their genuine care. As overseas visitors, we were completely unfamiliar with local transportation and booking systems for our next destination. The Son sat down with us, helped us navigate the Chinese online systems, booked our train tickets, and gave us detailed instructions for the rest of our journey. He spent a significant amount of his own time to ensure we were set up for success, which was a gesture we will never forget. The homestay itself is a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Decent simple home-cooked breakfast with the family was priceless. In summary: · Hospitality: Unmatched. オーナーはとても優しい人でした！ 宿はエアコンがありませんでしたが、扇風機があり、夜は意外にぐっすり眠れました。外国人が土楼の中に泊まれる宿で、すぐ近くに承启楼や他の土楼もあるのでアクセスも便利でした。私達は龙岩站から公共バスで行きましたが承启楼前で降りたら宿までは歩いて5分くらいで着きます。泊まれる土楼は他にもありますが、ここのオーナーは本当に優しく、旅の相談を色々アドバイスをしてくれました。とてもおすすめです！つぎもまたここに泊まりたいです。

I came here alone and was so captivated by the charm of this place that I stayed for two days. A neighbor who was like an older sister to me here took me to the observatory. Everyone helped me and they were so kind. I was very lucky to be able to stay at the Chengqi Tower. I want to express my respect for the greatness of the Hakka people. I am leaving after receiving such a valuable experience and emotion. I hope everyone here will be blessed with good luck. *Boss. It would be nice to have a wall mirror in front of the table in the guest room. And it would be better if the towels were a little bigger.🤭

The hotel was perfectly located across the road from the Prince Tolou and just a short walk to the evening bon fire show. I loved the country feel about this location! The owner helped arrange a driver for me to collect me from the train, drive me to a number of locations, and return me to the train station the next day. She arranged tickets to the bon fire show, took me there on the back of her bike and offered to pick me up (I chose to walk throigh the little dark streets because it was a lovely evening). She invited me to sit and drink tea with her and her friends, and made me feel like part of the family. As a westerner, the bed was a little hard for me, but i was very comfortable in my room. A must see area of China!

This place is really nice, staying in one of these Tulous is a great experience, the village is very nice an authentic. It is a bit of a hassle to get there, as public transport is not really an option, you'll need a ride from train station (I got from Longyan and it costed me 300 yuan). It is indeed worth it, but prepare for not much English (the owner's daugher, if she's around, can speak some decent english and is very nice), basic facilities, basic local food, etc.

Everything was good until taxi service provided by accommodation. Driver was rude, making decisions where to go and when to go on his own against agreement with the hotel owner, non-communicative, escalated the conflict in the end and dropped me off far from railway station. Was supposed to drive me around for 4 hours, instead only 2.5, that including all the time wasted on disputes. As a result I didn't see what I wanted to see and both of us got angry. I paid him less, but I don't think he deserves money at all because of his attitude and the fact that I didn't get the service I wanted.
