"Comfortable rooms with breathtaking views of the city. Location was excellent - less than 5 minutes walk from the metro station, restaurants, supermarket, MacDonalds, Chagee, KFC etc. Service was prompt and a room heater was provided when requested. Only thing to note is that there is no proper check in counter and everything is communicated over WeChat. The corridors outside can also look quite dark at night."

"The receptionist was very nice and happily refilled our empty water bottle. The room itself was nice, quite generic, with the usual kettle, hair dryer, and some free tea samples.
The bed was comfortable, and the AC was working well as well. The only issue was that there was a big clump of hair left in the shower when we arrived. It is no big deal, but it does give a bad first impression.
The hotel itself is walking distance from a renovated pedestrian old street that is quite popular with tourists."

"It was very difficult to find as there was no English writing. Even a local stewardess who helped me had difficulties. The staff was at first unwelcoming and then insisted on a 5 star review. The pod is way too small and difficult to move around. I felt like being inside a dryer. I suggest to book a double pod, even for one person, but then, that is the same price as checking into a hotel. The USB port was broken, which I only found out in the morning, when my device was not charged. The hair driers did not work at all. It is still a good solution if you only have a few hours and need some sleep. The bed sheets felt very clean. The towel was too small and afte drying my hair was already soaked. "

Was welcomed by 2 friendly customer service personnel: Liu Rui and Feng Yan. Both are friendly, helpful and heart warming staff. Thanks for their recommendation.
Stayed in A29 room at ladies corner near toilet. Entry and electric, powered by card only. USB and C port charging points available.
Basic bedding: good enough for overnight transfer stay: pillow and blanket.
Hand towel size for bathing. Traveller toothbrush and ear plug is provided.
In-house slippers are provided, hence no shoes allowed in capsule as carpeted areas.
Guess due to space constraints, no luggage’s allowed in capsule areas, hence opening of luggage can only be performed in front of the counter the reception area.
Packed Light breakfast was provided but no hot beverages (2 Bread Buns, Tea Egg and Yoghurt Drink). However, mineral water bottle is complimentary.
Nice experience, however a bit noisy when other guests closing doors.

The hotel is located fairly centrally in the island of Pingtan in a small village. Its exterior is nicely decorated with lights, and if you arrive late at night like we did, you’ll thank for that, as it shines like a beacon in a otherwise not very well lit street.
The service shone from the beginning. One of the staff was ready to help us with our luggage and show us in, and there was no delay with the registration of my passport (something that as any foreigner that has travelled in the Chinese Mainland will be able to tell, is not something to take for granted), and was immediately added to WeChat, where through the entire trip I was kept updated on everything relevant to us as guests, from the time breakfast was ready, to the fact that a guest with a dog was going to stay in a room next to ours (to which they offered to change if we needed in case any of us was scared or allergic to dogs). Breakfast was always kept warm for us, even when we were coming down late and were not expecting it to be there, and in general the staff’s attitude was always what you would expect in a bigger, more established (and more expensive) hotel, but with a home-stay twist.
The hotel is not very close to any scenic spot or touristic destination, but they offer a service of e-bike rental that we used through the trip, and that we’d recommend to anybody is staying here as it took transportation off the list of things we had to think about, and allowed us to fully take advantage of the central location of the inn. With 2 people per bike, going very far North, or South to the city (sometimes both in one trip), we never ran too close to empty our batteries.
The room was clean, big enough, and as we were staying on the last floor and our door opened to a patio, very well ventilated. The patio also proved to be a nice place to sit and chill or eat, and I was able to make work I had to finish feel less of a sore in the middle of my holidays. The only things I’d add or change to the room experience are a place to hang clothes (there wasn’t any closet or the sort), the toilet paper (they offered tissues but they don’t feel the same when you want to, you know, keep your hands clean), and real towels (they offer disposable towels, but they’re just not the same).
In conclusion, not only I would come back but I most certainly will, as I had an amazing trip and this inn played no small part in it. Would 100% recommend if you like less noisy, more home stay-ey atmosphere, and don’t mind to be a few minutes drive from the city.

Booked 3 rooms for 2 nights stay.
Rooms were clean with modern amenities. Bedsheets used were white in colour like normal hotels. Towels were disposable type.
Overseas guests be warned that you need to get in touch with the rooms owner. Luckily for us we had Wechat. Our air transfer driver did assisted us by calling the owner on his phone.
That was because your room number and at which floor with the door security key numbers as well as the room door code would be send to you.
Secondly, once you gained entrance to your apartment unit, you needed to go up a flight of stairs (troublesome with luggage). Each apartment unit, the owner had converted to either 2 or 3 individual rooms.
Location was near a lot of eateries and we even managed to have supper around midnight at one of the eateries inside the apartment complex.
Also there were a number of convenience stores that opened till late or even 24 hours.
There was a metro station within 15 minutes walk.
One added bonus was that there was a washing machine inside the room
Concluding, the owner should have sent the doors security codes to us via Trip.com to avoid the hustle in checking in

The facilities are top-notch, with well-maintained, modern rooms that strike a perfect balance between comfort and luxury. The amenities are pristine and thoughtfully designed to cater to every guest’s needs. What truly stood out to me, however, was the staff’s attentiveness. I’d like to extend a special shout-out to Miumiu, who went above and beyond to make my stay remarkable. She was incredibly helpful, addressing all my questions with patience and ensuring every detail was just right. Her dedication to guest satisfaction truly sets this hotel apart. If you’re looking for a relaxing retreat or a convenient base for exploring the area, the Bandao Resort Hotel is an excellent choice. Huone oli puhdas ja käytettävissä hissi helpotti matkatavaroiden vaihtoa ylös korkeimmat kerrokset. Tupakointi haju huoneessa on paras korostaminen minulle. Tulen takaisin, jos teen samanlaisen kauttakulkua uudelleen, kuten kuulin isäntä monia paikallisia ruokapaikkoja ovat lähellä, että voin yrittää, mutta minulla ei ollut aikaa tällä matkalla.

I arrived and at first couldn’t find the reception or someone to talk to you . But I rang a number and luckily the guy was on the same floor and knew a foreigner was coming. From then on 5 star service … was a comfortable and clean room with everything you need for a few nights .

The apartment is located inside a modern high rise building (with four elevators) in the middle of what appears to be a middle class neighborhood.
The building is within walking distance (I estimate 10-15 minutes tops) of the Fuzhou-South railway station. However. When me and my friend arrived there we decided to take a cab due to heavy rain - and we got yelled at because the driver was unhappy about the destination being so close to the railway station We yelled back and the driver apologized. We later realized that it would have been smarter to order a DiDi as cab drivers have to wait in line long time to get a railway customer and it is understandable that they want a customer who wants to go to the city center. Still. He had no right to yell at us. This is what the minimum fee is for.
Anyway. It is one of those high rise buildings that is built around a huge mall. Plenty of shops, drug stores, markets, restaurants (outside the mall) are within 5 minute radius. A mall entrance is within 3 minute walking distance. Very very convenient location. Not only so. Every day after 10:00pm there is a night market down the street where you can buy all sorts of delicious snacks even grilled oysters and steak.
Me and my friend had no issue locating the apartment because upon arriving at Fuzhou-South we got in touch with the owner. The owner then befriended me on WeChat, sent us the address, pictures of the entrance, description of how to open the main apartment door and the key lockers. Piece of cake. TBH I initially did not understand how to enter the code into the electronic door lock and so the owner came to assist. She was there within minutes after we asked for help.
The apartment is basically a bedroom with huge screen, beamer, queensize bed, workplace with sink, water cooker, washing machine, dining table and a nice, big fridge. Naturally you also have your own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and me and my friend were super happy with our choice. I initially thought that the mattress was too firm but then I slept very well on it. You have to take a cab or DiDi to the city center but its not far so it is not expensive. The A/C works very well. The view from the 18th floor is amazing.
Would I stay there again? Given the good location, hygiene and price I would absolutely stay there again.

Kolme päivää Fuzhouin peliä, asuin täällä tyytyväinen. Huone on puhdas, yksittäinen sängyssä ei ole hajua, nukkua mukavasti. Sijainti on todella mukava, kävely kolmen ja seitsemän minuutin päässä, vieressä on ruokailu kadulla, on verkkopunainen ravintola, ei ole raskasta päivällistä. Lyhyt hius sisko oli myös innokas auttaa minua laukkuun, ja pääasiallinen laukku oli edelleen raskas.Ennen majoitusta lähetettiin yksityiskohtaiset ohjeet, ja keskipisteenä kysyttiin ruuasta ja ruuasta. Huoneessa on myös puhdas projistori, ja siinä on pieni jääkaappi. Smart koti käyttää myös valoja.
