"What I liked about it : The receptionist is very friendly and helpful.

"Beautiful place, stunning room, lovely food and I loooved the forest pool ! Staff couldn’t have helped any more, so polite & friendly.
Only downside was I had to wait until 11pm to catch an overnight bus so asked if a friend could come to the pool with me to enjoy dinner, but was declined. I still loved my stay especially the room and pool. Will stay again !"

"Room was big and overall clean but there was a strong smell of cigarettes (I think It was coming from a neighbour smoking on their balcony).
Location is good - it’s not walkable to the main restaurant/bar area but only 5/10 mins in a tuktuk. There are a couple of nice coffee shops nearby and a 7/11.
It would have been good to have a fridge in the room to keep water cold especially after a long day exploring but for the price it was good value for money."

"Great hotel and amazing service! The room is spacious, modern, and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The swimming pool is fantastic, and the best part is that it stays open until 23:00 — perfect for watching the sunset.
The room also offers an excellent view, and housekeeping keeps it spotless every single day.
The gym is solid as well, with all the equipment you need for a proper workout, plus a sauna for relaxing afterward.

"We enjoyed our stay here beyond the busy city hustle. Room is exactly what’s stated in photos, clean and nice bed with complete amenities. We also had a bar fridge with tidbits to choose from. We had the pool to ourselves in the evening with the very pleasant city view and night lights. Breakfast buffet is elegantly prepared, not too many options though but it is worth what we payed for. So glad we chose this hotel. I would definitely recommend to friends if it were to be somewhere else because I will not recommend going to Phenom Penh after we encountered robbery and suffered PTSD after, instead of achieving our itinerary for this trip we just did staycation here. Thanks to the frontdesk staff for accommodating us with welcome drinks, nice French macarons and biscuits. There are also cold, clean towels in the lobby if you would want to freshen up before entering your rooms. Concierge are thoughtful and helpful too."

I have been to this Phnom Phen location three times, and also to the Siem Reap location. I consistently chose the Rambutan because of their amazing service and staff, and how incredibly warm and friendly the staff is. The entire team will go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable, safe and experience a joyful trip. They sincerely want to make sure you are well-cared for and enjoy yourself without being pushy, it always feel genuine and from the heart. The location is also nice in BKK1, close enough to the major tourist attractions and nightlife while managing to be an urban oasis away from the intensity of riverside.
On the grounds, there is a pool and garden, and the comfortable clean rooms include secluded balconies and alfresco private stone bathtubs. They are also an environmentally and socially responsible business, investing in their staff and local community. This was one of the initial reasons I chose to stay.
The included free breakfast is excellent and a wonderful way to start the day on holiday, served fresh poolside as they cook to what you order off the menu, and their lunch, dinner and bar menu is top-notch and delicious, offering a wide variety of Western, local cuisine, fresh drinks and nice cocktails
I have used their spa before on previous trips, and they are very professional and everything is clean and above board. If you’d like a secure and tranquil base during your time in Phnom Phen or Siem Reap, will always recommend the Rambutan properties and their staff.

I recently stayed at Novotel Phnom Penh and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel is new, modern, and beautifully designed, with a location that’s extremely convenient — just steps away from convenience stores and plenty of great restaurants.
The breakfast selection was outstanding, with a wide variety of options. Their signature rice noodles are an absolute must-try!
What impressed me the most was the exceptionally friendly and thoughtful service. When I checked out and was waiting for my car, one of the staff members even offered me a takeaway coffee — a small gesture that truly made a big difference.
I’ll definitely choose Novotel Phnom Penh again when I return to Cambodia. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Phnom Penh!
I’ll also like to recommend Hotel should provide once off slippers due to the foot hygiene issue.

The perfect hotel in the centre of Phnom Penh with all the entertainment only minutes walk away from the hotel. Hotel is very nice and room are very well designed. Staff is very friendly and food in the skyward is very good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend for business or holiday travel in Phnom Penh.

Upea kokemus HM Grand -hotellissa aina, kun menen. Vaikka luulin, etten voinut kirjautua sisään aikaisin kuin aikaisemmilla kerroilla, sain 30 minuutin ILMAISEN hieronnan ja mukavan lahjan Tripiltä, ILMAINEN cocktail! 😊 Uusi käytäntö 50USD talletus voi olla hankala, jos käteistä ei ole heti käteisellä ja jos maksat kortilla. Se tulee takaisin tilillesi vain 7–10 päivän kuluttua. 🤔 Se voi olla hankalaa lyhytaikaisille matkustajille. Kaiken lisäksi hyvä henkilökunta ja hyvät mukavuudet.

Very clean and comfortable hotel, off the busy streets, near some nice clubs and restaurants. Some other reviews talked about the loud nightclub next door, but to me it was just background noise and did not interfere with my sleep at all.
One word of caution: if you have any mobility issues (poor balance, unable to move easily, weak knees), this hotel is NOT for you. The shower is in the (slightly elevated) tub, and you must step up high to get in or out. The tub and floor are quite slippery, and there are NO handholds…if you lose your balance or slip, you will have a very bad fall into the glass shower door! I spoke to the manager about the importance of putting in some rails on the wall and non-slip pads in the tub, and she said I was not the first to make this comment.
Other than this (which does not apply to everyone), it’s a very nice hotel. Be aware that it is down a walking alley, and although tuktuks can drive up to it, the hotel sign is above your head so it’s easy to miss it…in plain sight!

Very good room, clean and got nice amenities. There is a rooftop smoking area on the 7th Floor that is 24/7, if you want easy access then be sure to ask to stay on the 7th floor. There's free lemon water downstairs in the lobby. Breakfast is quite decent, they make you a few different noodles as well as your standard breakfast buffet. There is a deposit of $100 USD required and they prefer cash as paying with card can take 1-30 days to return the money. There is some temporary parking out front so getting transport is quite easy, as well as getting food delivered. This place isn't marked on Grab so you'll need to be quite precise with the location for delivery, as well as providing a picture of outside of the hotel for your Grab delivery address. The room itself has automatic curtains, multi-styled plugs for international travelers, good lighting so you can sleep with the right amount of lights on if you want to. Hotel staff is confirmed to be 24/7 at reception, they'll always be someone there and they speak quite good English. Around the corner is a small local convenience store for buying extra water or local cigarettes. Down the road a bit is a 24/7 ABA Bank ATM that withdraws only in USD in amounts of 100USD bills so getting deposit for this place isn't that hard. However because the ATM does only 100USD bills, breaking this note at local shops is quite difficult.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, despite it being just for one night. The staff kindly upgraded us to a luxurious 2-room apartment with a stunning view of the Independence Monument. The rooms were spotless, and we appreciated the cooking facilities. The rooftop offered a great view, making it a perfect spot to unwind.
The only downside was the WiFi. The in-room WiFi was weak and often disconnected. Hopefully, they can improve on this aspect.
Overall, we'd recommend this hotel for its comfortable rooms and excellent amenities.

Found 2 dead bugs in one of the glasses. Towels smelled moldy. No daily housekeeping. Front desk were helpful when there, but opens late (8am). Location was main reason we booked, with a really nice sky bar on the 43rd floor. However, will not book again if not necessary.
