"The perfect hotel in the centre of Phnom Penh with all the entertainment only minutes walk away from the hotel. Hotel is very nice and room are very well designed. "This is such a hidden Gem, i stayed here for 2 nights and tboroughly enjoyed my stay such a pleasant hotel and the staff went above and beyond, and i returned back to stay again 4 days later for another 3 nights, When i walked in the staff remembered all my preferences and greeted me with the great Combodian hospitality, i am going back to stay there again. donf miss out on the rooftop dining experience such a cozy place with all the fancy cocktails."

"We had a perfectly pleasant and quite a memorable stay at Plantation. The place is very beautiful, aesthetically peaceful and hence very calming. The rooms are very harmonious and spacious with high-quality furnishings, very comfortable bed/pillow, great water pressure etc., and overall very clean. The pool was visually stunning, surrounded by trees and cabanas; And was quite frequently cleaned, ridding it of leaves from the trees above. The whole place feels like a ”green haven” with flora and quite a few birds and frogs, and this amount of greenery is something we really love, but did not expect to find in Cambodia!
The people who keep it clean and running are the silent backbone of the place and I really appreciate the smiles and the greetings that feel quite genuine. Although I did encounter a couple of rude staff, with a mildly biased behaviour, I'm inclined to rather shrug it off keeping the other kind staff in mind.
Overall, a very pleasing and memorable stay at Plantation, that I'll definitely choose again."

"Beautiful place, stunning room, lovely food and I loooved the forest pool ! Staff couldn’t have helped any more, so polite & friendly.
Only downside was I had to wait until 11pm to catch an overnight bus so asked if a friend could come to the pool with me to enjoy dinner, but was declined. I still loved my stay especially the room and pool. Will stay again !"

"From check in to check out, everything was almost perfect. But after check out, I had trouble to go to the Bus station.The Bus station I needed to go was not on the grab application. So I was needed to point out the location by myself on the map in Grab app. Eventhough, can find that location on google map, it was hard to point out on Grab map by pointing out due to the fact that map in grab was not that detailed like google and the whole alley on Phnom penh was so many. So I told one of the staffs to help me point out the location on Grab map that I needed to go comparing the right location on google map, but got rejected by the male staff. So shocked coz it's not that difficult request. It was just for him to help me point out the location on goolgle in grab. He just rejected just refused. So I called grab driver with rough location and needed to ask for the driver to help me find bus company that I booked with 10,000 tips. And then almost missed the bus. It should not happed to all guests including guests from Trip.com from now on."

I consistently chose the Rambutan because of their amazing service and staff, and how incredibly warm and friendly the staff is. The entire team will go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable, safe and experience a joyful trip. They sincerely want to make sure you are well-cared for and enjoy yourself without being pushy, it always feel genuine and from the heart. The location is also nice in BKK1, close enough to the major tourist attractions and nightlife while managing to be an urban oasis away from the intensity of riverside.
On the grounds, there is a pool and garden, and the comfortable clean rooms include secluded balconies and alfresco private stone bathtubs. They are also an environmentally and socially responsible business, investing in their staff and local community. This was one of the initial reasons I chose to stay.
The included free breakfast is excellent and a wonderful way to start the day on holiday, served fresh poolside as they cook to what you order off the menu, and their lunch, dinner and bar menu is top-notch and delicious, offering a wide variety of Western, local cuisine, fresh drinks and nice cocktails
I have used their spa before on previous trips, and they are very professional and everything is clean and above board. If you’d like a secure and tranquil base during your time in Phnom Phen or Siem Reap, will always recommend the Rambutan properties and their staff.

PPhilipFI recently stayed at Novotel Phnom Penh and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel is new, modern, and beautifully designed, with a location that’s extremely convenient — just steps away from convenience stores and plenty of great restaurants.
The breakfast selection was outstanding, with a wide variety of options. Their signature rice noodles are an absolute must-try!
What impressed me the most was the exceptionally friendly and thoughtful service. When I checked out and was waiting for my car, one of the staff members even offered me a takeaway coffee — a small gesture that truly made a big difference.
I’ll definitely choose Novotel Phnom Penh again when I return to Cambodia. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Phnom Penh!
I’ll also like to recommend Hotel should provide once off slippers due to the foot hygiene issue.

DDjcdeeVery good room, clean and got nice amenities. There is a rooftop smoking area on the 7th Floor that is 24/7, if you want easy access then be sure to ask to stay on the 7th floor. There's free lemon water downstairs in the lobby. Breakfast is quite decent, they make you a few different noodles as well as your standard breakfast buffet. There is a deposit of $100 USD required and they prefer cash as paying with card can take 1-30 days to return the money. There is some temporary parking out front so getting transport is quite easy, as well as getting food delivered. This place isn't marked on Grab so you'll need to be quite precise with the location for delivery, as well as providing a picture of outside of the hotel for your Grab delivery address. The room itself has automatic curtains, multi-styled plugs for international travelers, good lighting so you can sleep with the right amount of lights on if you want to. Hotel staff is confirmed to be 24/7 at reception, they'll always be someone there and they speak quite good English. Around the corner is a small local convenience store for buying extra water or local cigarettes. Down the road a bit is a 24/7 ABA Bank ATM that withdraws only in USD in amounts of 100USD bills so getting deposit for this place isn't that hard. However because the ATM does only 100USD bills, breaking this note at local shops is quite difficult.

The room felt a bit unsettling with the portrait hanging on the wall, especially since the lighting is quite dim. It would be more comfortable to have a mirror, which would be very useful when drying hair, or maybe having an extra power socket in the bathroom area would be convenient.
Toilet Amenities:
The toothbrush provided was quite hard, and the shampoo didn’t feel like it effectively cleansed my hair…no lotion is provided in the room. Perhaps these can be improved for better guest comfort.
Spa/Wellness/Gym:
10/10 — Absolutely excellent and CLEAN!!!
Restaurant:
10/10 — The food was great, especially the baguettes — they were delicious!!!
Overall, the staffs were friendly and helpful.

LLiAnn ChongFound 2 dead bugs in one of the glasses. Towels smelled moldy. No daily housekeeping. Front desk were helpful when there, but opens late (8am). Location was main reason we booked, with a really nice sky bar on the 43rd floor. However, will not book again if not necessary.

MMyron BuckVery clean and comfortable hotel, off the busy streets, near some nice clubs and restaurants. Some other reviews talked about the loud nightclub next door, but to me it was just background noise and did not interfere with my sleep at all.
One word of caution: if you have any mobility issues (poor balance, unable to move easily, weak knees), this hotel is NOT for you. The shower is in the (slightly elevated) tub, and you must step up high to get in or out. The tub and floor are quite slippery, and there are NO handholds…if you lose your balance or slip, you will have a very bad fall into the glass shower door! I spoke to the manager about the importance of putting in some rails on the wall and non-slip pads in the tub, and she said I was not the first to make this comment.
Other than this (which does not apply to everyone), it’s a very nice hotel. Be aware that it is down a walking alley, and although tuktuks can drive up to it, the hotel sign is above your head so it’s easy to miss it…in plain sight!
