A nice boutique hotel, clean and friendly staff. Breakfast not a wide spread but definitely sufficient. They also served hot porridge per order. We asked for half boil egg, they gladly do for us. All staff from the front desk to the breakfast, helpful and friendly. Facilities only a pool but that is not what we go for so is fine. We ae happy with this hotel.

From the moment I stepped into the Tribe Hotel, I knew I was in for a treat. The welcoming atmosphere was set immediately by the two front office professionals who greeted me warmly and generously presented me with vouchers for a massage and food and beverage discounts. This thoughtful gesture was the perfect start to my stay. The attention to detail in the hotel's design is evident everywhere. The rooms are not just clean; they are impeccably well-appointed and feel incredibly current, reflecting a stylish, modern aesthetic. I especially appreciated the inclusion of contemporary features like the co-working spaces and easy casting from my mobile device onto the TV. Beyond the stunning environment, the true gem of this hotel is its staff. Every person I encountered was polite, helpful, courteous, and genuinely eager to provide great service which is a testament to their high standards of training. The amenities offer perfect spaces for both rest and play. The swimming pool is a beautiful, free-form infinity pool surrounded by comfortable seating. It's such a balmy and restful spot that I even drifted off to sleep there! My evening was spent at the rooftop bar, which boasts amazing vibes. The staff here maintained the same high level of service: they were attentive, well-trained, hospitable, and polite. I highly recommend trying the coconut-based cocktail when it paired perfectly with the savoury pork cracklings for a delightful experience. In summary, the Tribe Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a stylish, modern hotel with a team dedicated to providing a five-star level of friendly, attentive service.

My stay coincided with the king’s coronation holiday and I was certainly in for treat! Three nights of fireworks, how lucky! I even got to witness a ceremony of sorts from my room window (red carpet and the full works). The hotel’s location is amazing with unmatched views of the Royal Palace, Wat Botum Park and from the rooftop infinity pool on the 12th floor, a breathtaking view of the river! Just a short walk on the main road, you’ll find a small Daily Mart with necessities, the victory monument just across the road, and Brown Cafe (it’s not the only branch but it’s the coolest-looking one with a little glass house centre and good cold drip coffee). While the hotel doesn’t have a gym, Phnom Penh is a relatively walkable city and you can definitely get your steps in while exploring. Don’t miss the sunset - absolutely stunning from the pool. You can order food from the restaurant (the hotel’s only restaurant on the 11th floor) and they’ll serve it to you poolside. Breakfast and the food at the hotel’s restaurant is average at best and you’re much better off having it at Brown Cafe just 2 min walk from the hotel, or any of the local eateries nearby. When I checked in, the hotel upgraded me to a deluxe king room but I noticed a strong smell of turpentine or some chemical sealant that stung my eyes. It was likely from some recent repair works. Turning up the AC and opening the windows solved it. Bonus points for the bedding - super comfortable. Had the best sleep and there were mornings where I had to pull myself out of bed. But the best part of this comfortable fuss-free hotel is the warm hospitality and service from the hotel staff. They truly made my stay feel like a home away from home. Special shoutout to Thiya from the front desk for helping me out when I broke a glass in the bathroom, and for his patience with my incessant queries. I’ll certainly be back!

This is my best stay in Cambodia. I liked that there were real flowers in the room. They make it easier to breathe. The soundproofing is also very well done. I can't hear my neighbors. Overall, it's a quiet area. Yes, it's far from the city center, but I was more interested in the large malls that were close to me. There is a swimming pool with hot and cold water on the roof. You can also drink alcoholic beverages and work out in the gym there. There is a grocery store within walking distance. The kitchen has a stove, but no pots. It's convenient that there is good tableware. I thought the extractor fan was a little weak. Maybe it's time to clean it.

On this trip I upgraded to one of their apartments and that made my week even more comfortable.. Very spacious, bath, 2 showers 2 toilets, 2 good aircon units and a small balcony overlooking Wat Botum pagoda. A good family sized fridge freezer meant my drinks, milk meats and cheeses were cold. Basic utensils but top tip, bring a normal cutlery knife. Located on 4th floor, I woas treated to a spooky but spectacular lightning show without the rumble of thunder. Stood on balcony and had a fantastic view. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfasts still very good, simple but plenty. However going 'self-catering' allowed me to get my cornflakes and ice cold milk in the morning. Cannot beat that! Next visit will see me booking an apartment only. So so convenient. Again, Le Botum was a superb location for me. Go to street 172. Plenty of expats....some characters too...and a 24hr supermarket called 'Smile' and you will. So much British stuff, it could have been anywhere in the UK. Book Le Botum. You won't be disappointed.

Stayed at Ostro from 19th to 21st Mar. Had a really pleasant stay. My only complaints are that there was no fridge in the room and the shower had little water flow. What made up for the service was the Front Office Night time Receptionist. She was really friendly to my friend & I, she even treated us to a glass of beer on our last night. The day time receptionist was also really friendly & greeted with a smile each time. Such gestures are what make me come back to such establishments! Cheers, Koala

Found 2 dead bugs in one of the glasses. Towels smelled moldy. No daily housekeeping. Front desk were helpful when there, but opens late (8am). Location was main reason we booked, with a really nice sky bar on the 43rd floor. However, will not book again if not necessary.

Excellent location with warm service. However, it isn’t an ideal hotel location for tourist location where situating near a bin or smth like landfill that with unlike smell. Additionally, the room was filled with ants everywhere. The hygiene condition definitely has room for improvement. In terms of faculties, the bathroom can’t provide hot water with stable temperatures, i can’t take a shower with hot water around 7ish. anyway, i still think the hotel quality is matched with the price though, not a bad choice for a short stay

Nice rooms but staff was beyond great! I forgot my passport in my room, called and they personally delivered it to me so I made my flight - though I had asked they send it via taxi driver, the young lady took it upon herself to ensure fast delivery - outstanding!!

What I Appreciate: 1. Prime Location: The hotel’s location is excellent. I loved being within walking distance of the riverside, the fresh fruit market, and several great restaurants. Having a convenience store nearby was also very helpful. 2. Local Amenities: The proximity to a local laundry shop (with very friendly staff) was a great convenience. 3. Room & Comfort: The bedroom is impressively spacious. I also found the bed linens and towels to be very clean, and the provided toiletries met a high standard. 4. Staff & Facilities: The hotel staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. Additionally, the in-room refrigerator worked perfectly throughout my stay. Areas for Improvement: 1. The Bed: I noticed the bed frame/mattress squeaks quite loudly every time I move. Even as a solo traveler, the noise was a bit distracting. 2. Environment: There was a persistent unpleasant odor near my room. It seemed to be coming from an external source, possibly a nearby canal or drainage area. It might be worth investigating if there is a way to better seal the room or treat the area to improve the air quality for guests.
