- Gym Attendant Arnold went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Not only was he super friendly, but he personally escorted my mom to the changing room and ensured she felt comfortable. The entire gym crew & safeguard team showed incredible patience and care toward her – it meant the world to us!

We did hit one small snag: we ordered room service and discovered mould in a yogurt. We simply informed the team to prevent other guests from experiencing the same. Their response? IMPRESSIVE. They immediately apologized, checked their entire stock, assured us of food safety protocols, and waived our entire room service bill as a gesture of goodwill. No excuses – just accountability and action!

At checkout, **Front Office Manager Man personally apologized for the yogurt incident – a classy touch that showed real ownership. It wasn’t just about fixing a mistake; it was about valuing us as guests.

消消防仔Title: Wonderful, family‑friendly stay with excellent service
We had a fantastic stay. The staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful in arranging birthday decorations that made our celebration feel special. Our room was spacious and comfortable, giving our family plenty of space to relax and spend time together.
The swimming pool was a highlight—clean, well maintained, and great for both kids and adults. We also loved the convenience of having Donki in the hotel for snacks and late‑night bites.
Overall, a very family‑friendly property with great amenities and thoughtful service. We’d happily stay here again.

VVieraskäyttäjäThe Altira is an absolutely gorgeous hotel in the north of Taipa village. My stay was excellent from start to finish. The view from the hotel room is expansive, with a gorgeous outlook of the main Macau peninsula. The room itself is huge, with a large bathtub to soak in and a cloakroom to store luggage and jackets. The room itself has a large couch, a desk, and a generous bed. Th casino at the first floor is small, but quiet in case you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the Venetian. Shuttle bus services are more limited than other hotels, but Taipa is walkable enough to get to Cotai or any other part on the southern island. Shuttle bus services go to Border Gate, City of Dreams, and Studio City. Housekeeping is incredibly generous and attentive with their service. I had glasses on my bedside so they gave my anti-fog wipes to clean the lenses! Truly a wonderful stay — I’d certainly consider staying here again upon my next visit to Macau.

From entering the lobby, check-in, welcome gift,24H butler service, bed at night, low noise, inexhaustible bottled water, 24H free ice/hot milk, chocolate milk, capsule coffee, USB charging plug, exquisite bathroom supplies, shower room without overflow problems, comfortable mattress, very cold A/C, special surprise, check-out, they taken care of carefully.
You must try their buffet. Make a reservation while you check-in, you will have a good prices.
I would like to say thank you to lovely butler Ivy and Sarah. No one is more considerate than your service. Thank you for your lovely hand-painted cards, balloons and St. Regis Bear,.Which made my daughter has a very unforgettable trip in Macau. Without your sweetness arrangement, the journey would have lost such special memories! We love you.

From the moment we arrived, Edgar went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He handled our check-in with a genuine smile and was incredibly helpful with recommendations for local restaurants and things to do in the area. His positive attitude and professionalism are a true asset to your hotel. It's rare to meet someone so dedicated to making sure guests have the best possible experience.

TTravellerfromhkWe chose W Hotel Macau as we heard the breakfast was great. It actually amazed me with both quality and quantity. Different style of cuisine could be found and we loved most of the food we picked. Moreover, huge thanks to their staff Brian and Hazel with the room upgrade. The mega room was insane. The terrace was more like a space for party where you could enjoy the view of Macau from top of the building while having fun with friends. Also the service from Jimmy when I was checking out was also brilliant. Overall, it is absolutely a place I will stay again in the future.

VVieraskäyttäjäThe walls are thin. You can hear the snore of the guests behind the walls and in the corridor. On the third day of my stay, a family with kids checked in to the connecting next door. The kids kept turning and turning and turning the connecting door knob violently for a few minutes and the parents didn’t stop them.
Terrible service of the waitress at the restaurant. Poor communication skill and offensive manner. When I asked for the bill and placed my credit card on my dining table — and I didn’t say anything else — her first response was “No discount!” I didn’t ask for any discount. She asked me “Are you our hotel guest?” I showed her my check out luggage storage tag and said “I am. But I just checked out.” She responded grumpily, “No discount gah! You don’t have the room card!”
I wouldn’t book with this resort anymore. I wouldn’t recommend this resort to people who are looking for a quiet stay.

VVercetti88The hotel's location was good. Many restaurants and a fastfood (Mcdonalds) and a convenient store (7-11) around 3 mins away of the hotel. We were surprised about the room size (non smoking room, spacious) and the cleanliness was well taken care by the staff. The Check-In and Check-out was also smooth and the front desk staff were polite and responsive to all our inquiries. Even the staff security who was stationed on the elevators was very courteous and all smiles. I would definitely book again this hotel on my next trip to Macau 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

However, the check-in experience was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING.
========== (TL;DR) Imagine you had to experience this after a 4 hours flight ==========
The young female receptionist I encountered on arrival handled things very poorly. She kept insisting she couldn’t find my booking, smiling the entire time as if it were a joke. Instead of checking properly herself, she kept handing me random printed bookings, one after another, asking me if any of them were mine. It honestly felt like I was doing her job.
If the names were even slightly similar to mine, I would understand. But she passed me almost every booking she had in her hands, including ones with clearly Japanese or ********* names that were nowhere close to mine. I even asked her, “So does that mean I’m supposed to sleep on the streets tonight?” Yet she still giggled, with zero sense of apology or urgency. It made me wonder if she had ever been trained in basic customer service or professional ethics.
Eventually, she finally handed me the correct booking with my name. But even then, after I confirmed it was mine, she said, “I gave you this earlier and you said it wasn’t yours.”
Like… excuse me? You’ve been passing me completely unrelated bookings the whole time?!
I initially wanted to rate the service 1 star, but I added one more because the hotel cleaner left a good impression, the cleaner auntie was polite and attentive.

Facilities:
The TV in my room was broken, so I’m guessing it was just for decoration. Ventilation also seemed poorly designed. Despite booking a non-smoking room, I was woken up early in the morning by cigarette smoke seeping in from outside my door. Not recommended for light sleepers either, as the soundproofing is weak. I could clearly hear people talking outside, though I’m not sure if they were in the corridor or inside another room.
