"Great location, but significant comfort issues Positive aspects: Very satisfied with the general accommodation type. It’s an apartment-style hotel located in a prime area in the bustling city center. Having shopping malls nearby and being so close to the subway station made transportation extremely convenient. The unit was clean and tidy, and the facilities were comprehensive. Also, having 24/7 staff at the front desk is a plus. Areas for improvement (The reality of the stay): However, there were several issues that made our stay uncomfortable: • Room Layout & Comfort: The bathroom is located inside the shower area, which is quite unpleasant and impractical. The space around the beds is very tight, making it difficult to move around the room. • Noise & Insulation: I specifically requested a room far from the elevator, yet I was placed right next to it, making it impossible to sleep well. Furthermore, the kitchen window wouldn't close properly, and the windows in general have poor insulation; you can hear every bit of street noise. • Climate Control: The air conditioning was very difficult to regulate—it was either freezing or boiling hot, with no middle ground. • Hotel Style: Note that this is not a traditional hotel; the ”reception” is actually just a couple of rooms converted for that purpose. Conclusion: While the location is unbeatable, the lack of rest and the room's layout were deal-breakers for me. I would not book this place again and would look for a more comfortable alternative in the area next time."

"I enjoyed my stay in the MGM Shenzhen so much the room was fantastic as was the seaview. We also have front desk representative took us to the room and explained everything concisely and with great enthusiasm so that we could get the best stay in the hotel we enjoyed our stay so much. 海星 continued to keep us updated through WeChat on daily activities available at the hotel and helped us book a table at the hotel restaurant for dinner. Allowing me to fully relaxed and carefree! Breakfast was amazing, lots of varieties and of high quality. Will definitely return in the future!"

It takes only a few minutes to walk to the famous dining street, making it super convenient for foodies. The aroma in the room is incredibly soothing and uplifting, making one feel great and relaxed. The double-layered soundproof glass is amazing; the noise from airplanes is completely inaudible, and it even comes with noise-canceling earplugs. The DF front desk service is outstanding, helping to upgrade the room and providing excellent airport pickup and drop-off services. Although there is no breakfast, there are plenty of options nearby. Overall, it is extremely satisfying!"

"After assessing over hundreds of hotels across Shenzhen, I chose this place not only because of its high rating but also because of its value for money. Upon arriving at the location, I was warmly greeted by the receptionist who despite being unable to speak english, tried to communicate with me several times. So I consider this as a good sign of hospitality. I made a quick inspection of my room, which I later found out it was not properly cleaned. Hairs and dust could be seen in the corners, but thankfully they cleaned it well right after. The bed is also pretty comfy, so make sure you don't oversleep!"
