"This Mingsu/ homestay just feel like the ancient wu xia inn. Being in Wudang Shan and staying in this Mingsu is like we are back in the ancient time. My husband and I had a great time staying in this mingsu. The room is big, clean, have the basic amenities. The boss and the staffs are nice, friendly, the boss even dropped us to Yuxu palace since he is on his way to buy things. The Mingsu will arrange a free pick up and drop off at the near wudang Shan 大门. Overall experience is good and we had a comfortable stay. Given the next chance of coming to Wudang Shan, we will come back to his homestay again."

"Hotel is close to the entrance of Wudang Mountain park. The breakfast is simple but sustains well. Since I reserved a family room (my wife, a 22 years son and I), they put us in a room decorated with infant motif, but it was clean and cozy."

"This hotel is about 15km from Wudangshan West high speed train station. It’s near the Wudangshan main entrance (1km). The boss and the front staff are friendly and helpful. They can send hotel guests to the entrance gate FOC. Good service. Many more shops and hotels are being built in the vicinity. Not many shops around at the time I stayed. But there are many shops and restaurants nearby the main gate. Overall, it’s value for money stay."

"The hosts at the Taiji Inn were great, super helpful, friendly and honest. Rosie even did my washing at no charge as I was up and at it by 5.30am every morning to the Kung Fu Academy. The little court yard out front was a great place to hang with other guests.. The food was also good and very reasonable. Its worth mentioning the Hotel is on a train line so if you a light sleeper or don't live in a big city you might find it a little noisy. all in all its a great little hotel."

"If you don’t speak the local language, I do not recommend staying at this hotel. It was incredibly difficult getting both on, and off the mountain “scenic area”. Some hotels in Trip reached out to us in advance to help coordinate transportation, this one does not. Your only way to contact the hotel is by calling, which isn’t feasible if you don’t speak the language. The hotel website showed that parking was available, so I thought we would be able to get there by DiDi, as long as I paid the fee to get the car into the park. This was not the case. We did see private vehicles, but I’m not sure what goes into that, but I believe 4 wheel drive is one requirement. So with our luggage, he dropped us off at the base of the mountain. It took a little while to get to the ticket office, you have to walk up several stairs and through a cobblestone market to get there, so we got nice and sweaty and uncomfortable. From there, you take a bus (ours had no underside luggage stowage) about halfway up to another stop. We had to awkwardly hold our luggage in the aisle of a full bus, while going up-hill and doing switch-backs. Everyone gets off about halfway-way up, at a station with several different buses. We asked for help and someone pointed us to the correct one. From the final bus stop up top, it was a short walk to the hotel. We figured going down would be much smoother, but after getting off the first bus, we accidentally got on the wrong one and started going back up. Overall, took us about 2.5 hours from the airport to the hotel, then just over three hours from hotel to the HSR station. Minor descriptions for the room were inaccurate. Ours was listed as on floor 3 or 4, it was actually basement level. The hotel is in the edge of the mountain, so it still had a scenic view. The window in our room was dirty (I expected more for what we were paying). The hand soap in the bathroom was in a re-used bottle and was watered down. Listed amenities said sauna and massage room, there are neither here (nor was there an offer of other local places to go when I asked). The breakfast food was amazing, including a hot, fresh bar with a chef making eggs and noodles. I wasn’t able to partake in the noodles one day because of the language barrier. Hotel staff was more hesitant than other places we’ve stayed in using translation tools and I felt like too much of an inconvenience in using them to ask for noodles. There is bottled water in the rooms, you can ask for more for free (they friended me via WeChat on Check-In and is largely how we communicated). There is free tea and snacks in the afternoon, the hotel was quiet so we were able to take up one of two seats that had an amazing view outside. The staff working the tea time was great and super courteous. You can hike to South Crag Palace and Nanyan Palace by foot, both are absolutely stunning. In summary, if we were to visit the area again, I would stay at a hotel at the bottom of the mountain (not in the scenic area) and use the day exploring/getting lost on the bus. While the view was great, it simply wasn’t worth the high price and the difficulty in getting there for non-locals. If I knew a hotel in the scenic area would reach out to me in advance to assist, then I would go for it. But unfortunately, with the way Trip.com works right now, hotels have to initiate that, guests cannot. I don’t recommend this hotel for non-native speakers."

"Firstly, I must say that the owner of the hotel is exceptionally friendly and helpful! Thank you for your assistance and advice in making my itinerary to Wudang Mountain so wonderful! Secondly, the room is splendid! Clean and beautifully decorated! We initially intended to stay at the hotel for 2nights but extended our stays for another 2days. Not forgetting, the hotel offer drive and pickup services to and fro the entrance of Wudang Mountain. Will definitely recommend anyone i know to book this hotel if they are coming to Wudang."

"This homestay is so so comfortable, so clean and new and very nicely and thoughtfully designed, it makes us want to retire in a house just like this! Our hosts are a family, very hospitable, helpful and sweet, they make us feel right at home. The older, strong Uncle insisted on helping us carry our luggage up the mountain as we made our way up to the scenic spot! We also love their breakfast - fresh, with a decent variety that will hold us over for hours. This location is as close to the entrance of the bus terminal that will take us up the mountain (no taxis or private cars are allowed up), so if you want to spend time up there, this is a good location. 这家民宿真的非常舒服！房间干净崭新，设计得美观，贴心，让我们都想退休后住进这样的房子里！房东是一家人，非常热情好客、乐于助人又亲切，让我们感觉像在家一样自在。那位健壮的叔叔还坚持帮我们把行李扛上山，一路陪我们走到景区呢. 我们也很享受他们家的早餐——很新鲜，种类足够让我们撑上好几个小时。 这里的位置离上山巴士站入口很近（私家车和出租车不允许上山），如果想在山上多玩会儿，选这里准没错！"
