"We arrived 7 am to stow luggage. We sat for several hours before leaving for business. The staff is engaging and very helpful, including wifi before check-in. Upon completion of business, we returned to check-in. No elevators, so staff helped take luggage up. The rooms and facilities are immaculate with hot water showers. The rooms are very large with TV. TRULY better than the hotels stayed at before. For Breakfast, the bread we chose and the coffee were excellent. We will be back there in about a month, and will stay again for about three days. Truly excellent find. Our new Davao hotel!!!"

"I arrived at the Hotel around 10 o'clock in the evening, the staff was nice and i was able to check in right away. it was a smooth checked in, from a long flight. and also i was surprised that they upgraded my room into a Deluxe room. The room is wide and clean, im also happy that they have hot and cold water. I highly recommend this hotel and probably i will comeback again. ❤ P.S Though its not soundproof , i heard some noise outside or in the other room."

"Tämä on kolmas kerta, kun olen täällä ja se on pian minun menemässä Davaoon. Sijainti? Chef suudelma. Se sijaitsee aivan kaupungin ytimessä. Se on vain muutaman sadan metrin päässä Abreeza ja yksi jeepney ajelee pois muilta varastoista (GMall, SM Lalang ja SM Ecoland). Check-in on kätevä ja nopea. Yksikkö on ollut hyvin puhdas kolme kertaa olen ollut siellä. Vierailijat tarkistaa säännöllisesti, joten huone yleensä puhdistaa päivittäin. Yksityisyyden suoja ei ole ollut ongelma yksityiset puutarhat. Arvostan todella opiskelutilaa myös, erityisesti tuoli. Se on erittäin mukava tuoli. Ilmastointi toimii täydellisesti. On parveke, jos sinun täytyy hirttää vaatteet aurinkoa. Suosikki paikka huoneessa on kylpyhuone. Puhdas kylpyhuone bidet, sekä lämmitetty suihku ja keitto. Tietenkin on kaupankäynnin poistot, sillä et ole absoluuttinen yksityisyyttä ja sinun täytyy kävellä kevyesti muiden vieraiden, jotka odotetaan hinnan. Absoluuttisesti paras arvo rahaa kaikissa paikoissa olen oleskelenut kaupungissa."

We arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for. When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem. Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.

What I liked: - good location - excellent customer service - beautiful reception - the breakfast was authentic and tasty What I did not like: - cockroach was found in my room - the rooms and bathrooms are extremely dated in desperate need for a redo, despite some efforts for refurbishment since my last stay earlier this year - the TV is pretty much just a decoration in room, about 4-5 channels are available with poor signal quality, without any exaggeration it is impossible to view. Not a Smart TV, so no YouTube or Netflix to keep you entertained, if you choose to stay here, - it is poor value for the price/night, the recent price increase is really not justifiable

Pros - clean comfortable room - near the cost line with view over the channel - super polite staff - great family pool area - used to the place being full so it’s organised extremely well - 24 hour room service Cons - no concierge to greet new guests getting out of taxis - No one to show you to your room! Have to find your own way. - loud banging doors waking guests very early in the morning due to neighbours from doors next to one another (see pictures) - bird poo all over the windows (see pictures) - breakfast buffet was just okay.. self service coffee and not great food. A decent hotel but somewhat ruined by poor welcome and the early morning noise of other guests. Ask for a quiet rooms.

Location is really Good if you want to Roam Around Davao city Close to the mall and Shops, Staffs are Friendly,kind,Respectful.We enjoy our stay at the Hotel, the food from the Breakfast Buffet really taste good. The pool is relaxing Good for the kids to Chill from the hot weather outside. Maybe just Clean a bit the Window curtains coz it's a Bit Dusty , Overall experience is awesome.

My daughter and I arrived at the hotel around 10 in the evening. We went straight to the hotel from Davao Airport. Good thing it was late in the evening as we were able to escape the heavy traffic in the city area. The hotel attendant was nice and was able to assist us with our room. He was kind of having a hard time finding our booking, good thing he was able to sort everything out. We got a room on the 3rd floor, we got two beds, and didn't check if the TV was working though. The water pressure in the shower is okay. We have towels and toiletries provided. Air-conditioning is working fine. Just a bit of cleaning needed under the bed. We had a good sleep and went to check out before noon the next day as we needed to catch the bus going to Gen San. Thanks GV Hotel for a safe and sound stay in Davao

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the heart of the city. My partner and I experienced excellent service, mainly when an incident arose that required us to visit the hospital. The staff were exceptionally cooperative in providing an incident report, which was incredibly helpful for our insurance reimbursement process. While the hotel is somewhat older and the amenities could be upgraded, I still felt very comfortable during our stay. I would recommend this place.

The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. The hotel's big pool was a highlight, perfect for unwinding and soaking up the sun.
