"Truly love this hidden oasis! River, ponds, fish, ducks, kayaks, swimming pool. WiFi is strong too. There are chairs and beds to relax and chill beside the river. We tried the kayak and it’s fun and shaded by the forest, not hot. The pool is clean and great for swimming and relaxing. We bought fish food from the reception and really enjoyed feeding the fish around the property. We stayed in the loft and the river/pond is directly at our doorstep. So many fish and fishes. There are about 9 ducks and they are so cute! They eat fish food too, especially the 2 brave ones who chomp up the pellets swimming. The rest do eat on the ground when we stay at safe distance. There are motorbikes and bicycles you can use. I think bicycles usage is free. We did not use. Many locals and foreigners here. We also took Grab to head for short trip into town. Fantastic place! We want to come again soon!"

"I stayed at Varana Hotel for three nights on my solo birthday trip, and it was truly a memorable experience. The hotel is new, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. On my first day, I tried the NAAM hydrotherapy, and it was the perfect way to unwind after a long drive—so relaxing and calming. The staff were great at explaining each step, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I also had an aromatherapy massage, which was equally relaxing. The therapist was polite, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. The gym is brand new and impressively well-equipped, and the breakfast each morning was fantastic—both in taste and the stunning view that came with it. What made my stay truly special, though, were the people. The staff, especially those at SALA, were incredibly warm and attentive. They often stopped by to chat and offered thoughtful recommendations on activities and places to visit. As someone traveling solo for the first time, I felt so welcomed and cared for—alone, but never lonely. To top it all off, they surprised me with a birthday cake, which was such a heartwarming touch. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil and meaningful getaway."

"The only decent hotel in Ao Nang that is pet friendly. Why other hotels/resorts around the area that are not pet friendly i dont know? There losing out on a customers that like travelling with pets, they should make their location during the low season."

"Myself and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay at Greenhill resort! Very unique concept of the cabins on the hill which we loved. The manager gave us a sea view room which was beautiful. Manager also very helpful with other bookings- his ferry prices to Phuket were cheaper than other places so we booked directly through him☺️ Clean, very friendly helpful staff & nice touch of free tea,coffee,water,toiletries. Would recommend!"
