The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, even before my arrival. They tried to contact me in advance, but as a foreign guest, I do not have a Chinese phone number. It would be more convenient if the hotel could ask for guests’ WeChat IDs through the Trip.com messenger instead. Upon arrival, the staff created a WeChat group and added me in, which turned out to be very helpful. Through the group, they assisted with all kinds of questions, such as recommended places to visit, how to rent an e-bike, and where to eat nearby. The responsiveness and service were excellent. The room was awesome — very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and the view was fantastic. I also really loved the projector screen in the room, which allowed me to watch WeTV shows and other content. It made relaxing in the room even more enjoyable. The hotel provides e-bike rentals, which is a great feature. However, I was personally under-geared for the weather. It rained the day before, and the entire day was cloudy with temperatures around 11°C. The sea breeze was very strong and cold, especially when riding the e-bike with the wind blowing directly at you. Proper winter gear is definitely needed in such conditions. If the hotel could provide glove and jacket rentals, that would be an amazing improvement. In the evening, the staff even brought a small gift to the room. The gift was thoughtful and practical, and I really liked it — it was a warm and welcoming gesture that made the stay feel extra special. Breakfast was okay. Guests are seated on Level 2, and the meal is served to the table. As I come from a place where some Chinese do not consume beef, it would be great if there were options such as chicken or beef. That said, the beef noodles were actually very good. The Western-style breakfast, however, was quite average.

The room was exactly as shown in the photos on Trip, and waking up to a stunning sea view was easily the highlight of both the hotel and my trip. The room doors were a bit tricky to maneuver—even though the staff kindly went the extra mile to show me how to open and close them, I gave up after the third try. Breakfast was simple, nothing fancy. A large bug appeared in the room, which gave me quite a scare. Also, this place isn’t ideal if you’re traveling with large suitcases, but the staff are incredibly helpful and always ready to assist with carrying luggage up and down. Overall, a beautiful view and warm service, with a few quirks to keep in mind.

My overall experience was satisfactory, though there were a few areas for improvement. The room had the necessary amenities but was not as new as depicted in the images, likely because the hotel has been operating since 2018. Additionally, the soundproofing was inadequate. The garden did not appear as organized or aesthetically pleasing as shown in the photos, possibly due to the colder season. On a positive note, the hotel’s location, away from the city, makes it an ideal choice for a peaceful city getaway.

A great experience. Highly recommended this for everyone. I travelled a lot in China but for such an economical price I haven’t experienced this kind of amazing service before. The rooms are spacious. The owner is very cooperative. I checked in before time and checked out after time without any extra charges. Very hygienic environment. The location is very convenient. The supermarket is just downstairs. In short, I recommend it to everyone.

언어가 통하지 않아 힘들었지만 , 위챗을 통해서 실시간으로 도움을 주셔서 감사합니다 . 풍차가 보이는 숙소는 너무 좋았고 , 넓고 쾌적해서 편히 쉬다 왔어요 . 다만 아쉬운점은 타올이 일회용인점이 조금 불편 했습니다 . 중국의 휴일이라 사람이 많아 교통통제가 심해 힘들었지만 , 국경일을 피해서 온다몀 너무나 여유로운 여행이 될거 같습니다 . 푸른눈물은 이번에 못봐서 아쉬움이 남습니다 . 담에 기회가 되면 다시 방문 하겠습니다 . 감사해요

This is one of my best experience with hotels/accommodation. The location is in the city center and is accessible by subway which less than 5 mins from the apartment. The room is clean, spacious living room and big bathroom. The smart lock (pin) and the entire smart system in the room makes the stay even more comfortable. The service staff are very help and friendly. There is also a huge smart projector for movies installed in the rooms. Recommended for travelers to Fuzhou. (The bed image is taken after I am about to check out :( )

Wonderful service and experience from the start to the finish. The staff went out of their way to ensure that our family were comfortable. The home from home service was exactly what was needed when looking for a chilled beach holiday. The hotel was close to the main beach Longwangtou (Less than 10 minutes by taxi. Also it is close to Pingtan railway if you want a convenient trip into Fuzhou city. The rooms were very clean, there is a jacuzzi in the garden. The manager and staff were very attentive. I would certainly recommend it and book again next time!

Honestly one of the nicest stays I have had in China. Came here for a writing retreat - such an amazing spot! Lovely sunrises, sunsets and nice walks nearby. Very quiet and rural feel - not many people around but great amenities (good coffee shop and restaurant, scooter rental). Staff were all extremely friendly and went out of their way to make my stay exceptional. Breakfast was great for a free breakfast. Don’t recommend going to “chase the blue tears” though unless they are a high level of density - not worth it. Better to just stay and enjoy the peace and tranquility nearby the hotel.

Fantasy Hotel is near South Fuzhou Railway Station, which is a bit away from the town centre but handy to catch the high speed train from Fuzhou south. The check in was poor. The address does not say which floor the hotel is and you are expected to phone the hotel even though they do not speak English. I had to get a passer by to help me. They did not send a check in code either. Apart from that the room was fine though there was no window and this did not match the photo. I also had to pay a New Year’s Eve tax. But that is expected. You can easily catch the subway into town but beware it closes early and then you will have to get a taxi. Happy New Year everyone !

Location - Had a hard time to find the apartment as there’s totally no signboard or any indication of the apartment’s name because it is hidden in a building. It took me 30 minutes to walk from the nearest subway station to the ground floor of the building. Cleanliness - ok Comfort & Room Quality - ok Service - The person in-charge Miss Chen （小陈）is very friendly and helpful as she purposely recorded a video to show me a shortcut from the apartment to the subway station. Value for money - Suitable for budget travelers.
