Kim’s Youth Hostel is located in the backyard of Lower Yubeng and offers private ensuite rooms with basic shower amenities. It is about 5 mins walk to the main stretch of restaurants and shops at Lower Yubeng and 10mins walk to the transport pickup area (to Upper Yubeng/ Ninong Village). The room offers some views of the valley but is partially obstructed by buildings in front of it. Breakfast starts after 7.30am but our plans started earlier. We didn’t get the breakfast but chose to buy a 35rmb sandwich instead. The accommodation does not provide bottled water. Instead, there is a filtered water dispenser at the lobby/dining area to refill your bottles.

Fantastic, fabulous, and fascinating! This homestay in Benzilan is pure magic! The location is serene, the accommodation spotless, and the people—simply outstanding. The hosts treat you like family, always smiling and going the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. Honestly, leaving this place is the hardest part! It’s hands down my best stay in Yunnan. If you’re heading to Deqin for Meili Snow Mountain, this is a must-stay. Highly recommended!

It was really my perfect decision to chose this hotel for watching the sunrise in XianGeLiLa.Outside is cold but inside of the hotel was full of warm atmosphere (physically and psychologically) .it’s just too easy to go out into the spacious balcony during the night for watching stars or watching the mountains in the morning.When we feel a bit cold just warm us up with a cup of offerer hot drinks.Then we could enjoy the beautiful scenery as long as possible.Its unbelievable we could enjoy that luxurious environment without spending too much budget.Thats the place where we need to stay several days not one day like us.

This stay offers great value for money. The hotel has an excellent view of Meili Snow Mountain from its observatory deck on the 5th floor, although the view from the room is partially obstructed by a building on the right-hand side. The reception hall is impressive, and we received a warm welcome with afternoon tea, nighttime desserts, and group activities organized by the hotel, including fireworks. We were very fortunate to catch the Geminid meteor shower during our stay and were able to watch it comfortably from our room—and, of course, to admire Meili Snow Mountain at sunrise.

The room was new and clean. But the star of the show was the hosts.They were really kind and gave us lots of good tips and shared tea and snacks with us at the fireplace.

新開的酒店，設施服務都很到位。 首先到了大巴車下車點，打電話就有人來接我們，2分鐘的車程很快就到了 設施方面很齊全，製氧機地暖都有，會幫忙打開，熱水也很充足，一切洗漱用品包括一次性毛巾都備全了，房間裝修精緻，還帶智能語音系統和投影設備 因為幫忙升級了景觀房，早上還在房間看了日照金山，超出預期，隨後就去雨崩了 此次飛來寺中轉的行程休息得很好，滿意

Excellent location, next to the bus stop where coach bus from Shangri-la will stop. And it's just 200m to the viewing platform of Meili Snow Mountain for sunrise. The room is very clean, spacious, with heated floor, heating mattress, oxygen supply (if needed), furnishing is 5-star quality. The owner is very helpful giving us accurate info on how to observe Meili Snow Mountain sunrise, and helped to buy the coach bus tickets back to Shangri-la. The restaurant at second floor can observe BaiMa Snow Mountain (sunset) and Meili Snow Mountain (sunrise) if you don't want to go outdoor. Highly recommended for anyone coming to FeiLaiShi.

Hotel is just a short walk from the entrance to lower Yubeng village. The room is very clean and sufficiently spacious. Everything is functional. We had a very comfortable 2.night stay in the hotel as well as delicious food just downstairs.

Amazing small village with warm welcoming ******* family. The whole area is very calm, not touristy. The boss lady speaks perfect English as she used to be a tourist guide. If you need any help, you should add her to WeChat. Her number is on Trip.com. The hotel is brand new and very clean. You can have a room with view to the glacier. This is the perfect basecamp for visiting the Mingyong Glacier and Yubeng. They can take you or pick you up to/from these destinations. They have a good variety food options, the kitchen is very clean. They also sell beer and local wine. We loved our stay and would stay again anytime if we come back to the region. This is real ******* hospitality.

What sets this guesthouse apart from others is its convenient location - while most people spend 2 nights in Upper Yubeng and 1 night in Lower Yubeng, this guesthouse was conveniently located between Upper and Lower Yubeng, allowing me to explore all the hikes without having to change accommodation. The food provided was fresh and good, and the rooms were neat and tidy. Extra points for a western toilet, as many other guesthouses only offer squatting bathrooms. The owners always looked out for our safety as well, providing information on which hikes were safe to do, weather permitting. Will highly recommend this for its convenient location and great service.
