"Very convenient location. Literally just outside Amsterdam Zuid station which gives you plenty of options to travel to the city center by public transport. Easy and within 5-10 minutes you are in the center of Amsterdam. The neighbourhood on the Zuidas is also great with plenty of nice restaurants in the area in case you dont want to travel.
I would always stay in this hotel rather than in the busy and inconvenient to travel city center of the city"

Yksi mielenkiintoinen asia - huoneessa on kortti, josta käy ilmi, tarvitsetko siivouspalvelua vai et, kuten tavallisessa hotellissa. Mutta kortissa oli kaksi puolta: - punainen, et tarvitse siivousta äläkä tule huoneeseen; - sininen: ei siivousta, mutta saat tervetuliaisjuomakupongin.
Jostain syystä korttimme oli käännetty punaiselle puolelle, emmekä löytäneet kuponkia. Eikä edes silloin, kun menimme vastaanottoon pyytämään kuponkia, he kieltäytyivät antamasta sitä meille, koska he merkitsivät järjestelmään punaisen puolen. Olimme kuin hmm, ihan ok, mutta hotellina arvostaisimme, jos voisitte olla vähemmän laskelmoivia ja hieman anteliaampia.
Melko kaukana keskustasta otamme Uberin päästäksemme keskustaan ~12,4 € matka.

"Undisclosed demolition works from 07:00 – unusable stay, refund refused.
I had two separate bookings at this hotel: one night, followed by a second booking for three more nights.
At exactly 07:00 in the morning, heavy demolition works started inside the building (jackhammers demolishing the ground floor, I was staying on first).
This was not disclosed at the time of booking, on arrival, or at check-in. The noise made it impossible to sleep or work — even phone calls were not possible.
Because of this, I had to cancel all my online meetings that morning, urgently relocate to another hotel, and pay additional early check-in fees. As a result, the second booking was not used at all.
During the later correspondence, hotel management acknowledged internally that the contractor had violated working restrictions multiple times and had been confronted about it — meaning this was not a one-off incident.
Despite this, the hotel refused to refund the unused second booking and only offered partial compensation.
I recommend future guests explicitly confirm whether any construction or demolition works are taking place before booking."

"Convenient airport hotel with free 1/2 hourly airport shuttle. The hotel room clean and it is well sound proofed from the passing aeroplane. The other downside is the soft bed which is not my personal preference and the small shuttle bus at some time interval. It only carry 10 passengers and I encounter some situations where passengers have to wait for the next run which may be full again if you are not waiting in front of the bus."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely excellent — only a 5-minute walk to the train station, which made getting around incredibly easy and convenient.
The room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a cosy sofa area, a dining table, and even two bathrooms. It felt very comfortable and practical, especially for families. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and inviting.
One of my favourite features was the 24-hour fitness centre. It was clean, well-equipped, and had everything needed for a proper workout. Having access at any time of day was a big bonus.
Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily return!"

Mr. Oman at the reception was super friendly and gave us a warm welcome during check-in. He also helped make sure all our requests were met; connecting rooms, 2 single beds, same floor, and next to each other. Really appreciated that!
The only downside was one male receptionist (Middle Eastern-looking) who didn’t seem very welcoming. He was quite passive and seemed unwilling when I asked for help with temporarily storing our luggage.

LLeayahThe hotel was good—decent and very clean. It’s also very well located when it comes to transportation. Getting there from the airport is easy; it’s just two stops by train. The tram and bus stations are only about three minutes away from the hotel, making it convenient to travel to any part of Amsterdam.
With the kitchen facilities available, you don’t necessarily need to eat out—you can prepare your own meals. However, if you do feel like dining, there’s a Breakfast Club just three minutes away, which was very satisfying.

Still the Tribe hotel service was great and breakfast was delicious too. My daughter left her iPad in the safe at the room and when we called the hotel they can quickly check for us and sent us confirmation. Location is not central but consider near which 2 stops away, and just next to Noord train station.

VVieraskäyttäjäI recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent and made it very convenient for exploring the Amsterdam central station area. Our room was comfortable, the building is stylish, and we enjoyed our time here.
There are a couple of areas where improvement would make the experience even better. First, the reception staff were chatting with each other while assisting us. It wasn’t a big issue, but it did feel a little unprofessional.
Second, the lifts could use some attention. They were quite slow during our stay, and on the day we checked out, none of them were working. We waited for about 15 minutes and eventually had to walk down 10 floors to reception (luckily, we didn’t have heavy luggage). What surprised us more was that the reception staff seemed unaware of the problem and didn’t acknowledge that there was an issue when we and other guests told her so.

Staff however, too often, go according to the 'book', and find it hard to think and improvise on the spot. It's as if they are under trained. When checking in there is no need to ask the guest to fill info on the iPad. You have this info, to stay in touch, already. Don't burden the weary traveler with trivial nonsense. If the sun shines, finally after weeks of grey and rain, and a guest sees the patio with tables in the sun, and this guest wants to have tea in the sun outside in the patio, this has to be a possibility. Don't say, well it's not the season so it's closed, it doesn't make sense, you're a top hotel, not the vander Valk. Improvise, think on your feet, explain that he is welcome to sit there and that his tea will be brought out, but it might take a few minutes longer. This way the guest feels listened to and that the moon is even possible.
The kitchen is incredible, the food is wonderful. Last evening I had dinner at the Jansz., two ladies working, were very kind, helpful and attentive, they understood the delicate balance between asking how things are going and leaving the guest alone. I want them to know i appreciate them. Please extend my gratitude to them. Also the Asian looking lady who worked during breakfast this morning, was excellent. Please let her know as well. Finally, the staff at the entrance - getting cabs etc. - are great. Some of the male staff are too - in Dutch, popy yoopy. I am your guest and not your friend. That's all, and that's enough.

VVieraskäyttäjäThe church hotel idea is interesting, and the workers were really nice. 🥰🥰 However, in my opinion, this place doesn’t deserve $155. When I booked it, I was on the way and made the reservation quickly. I knew the room would be small, but not this small. It wasn’t just small, the main wall was slanted, which made the usable space extremely narrow.
I immediately took a picture of the toilet upon entering, as it had a yellow stain inside. The beds were comfortable, but there was no closet, not enough hangers, and the bathroom was extremely small with a tiny sink, making it impossible to place a toothbrush or makeup bag.
The location is not bad, but you do have to walk at least 20 minutes (and 4 minutes with ferry) to reach Central Station. If you take the train, it’s about 11 minutes of walking plus 2 minutes on the train. Overall, in my opinion, the price paid definitely does not match the quality offered.

LloreleikvltWe had been really concerned after pre paying this hotel then reading bad reviews that had us convinced we would need to wear plastic suits the entire visit,, so I thought I'd give my review based around the concerns we had read, to try and be helpful ! some of the things were true , the sheets did come off the bed on mine but I wiggle but my friends both stayed on their beds. super annoying but I just slid it back on and you can always throw your cover over it instead and ask for another . Fortunately we didn't come across the bed bugs people mentioned !, the cat seemed happy and not flea ridden.. however the room was clean enough , no obvious mould. The beds were comfortable enough. The bathroom was clean and quite nice
It wasn't huge but had ample.space for our things in the triple person room .
It's an old building with narrow windy stairs I'm glad the elevator worked. it's not a relax and sit in all day hotel..it's a place to sleep , shower ...charge your phone and keep your belongings.
The coffee machine was fine as far as basic goes.
The staff were fine
There was a fifty euro deposit on the desk, we just asked for a receipt after other things mentioned in reviews and were given a written one with no problem on leaving . We were offered one free housekeeping day as we stayed 4 nights but opted not to use it due to theft mentioned in reviews..
We stayed at the main hotel so I don't know if all the bad reviews were from the other or we just got lucky with our room but we had no problems, and when I went rustling down before hours looking for coffee the guy did help me before reception opened.
It's no paradise of a place , there are marks on the walls but faint...if you're fussy it's not the place for you but for the price and location, we really didn't mind it . It's a super great location as a base with a trendy area behind it
And a really cool vegan restaurant a tiny walk away a pub downstairs and metro train a stone's throw away
If you have the option to pay on arrival ask to see.your room first.you could take that route
Just to be safe, but all up it was fine..3 women travelling together there was no unsafe feeling there .
