"We decided to stay near Mount Austin because we enjoy the nightlife there, and in the morning we could easily have wanton mee for breakfast. However, it was very difficult to find a decent hotel in the area.
The hotel is located between Mount Austin and IKEA. Although both places are accessible by cab, it is not walkable, which makes the location quite inconvenient. We booked two single rooms for $60, with a RM100 deposit for both rooms.
The rooms were extremely small—we couldn’t even open our cabin-sized luggage properly. The bed was very uncomfortable; we could clearly feel the springs. To make things worse, the walls were very thin, and we could hear voices and people walking outside clearly.
Overall, we would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again."

"This hotel provides complimentary parking in the basement which is a huge carpark catered for the convention crowd. Our room is huge for three pax. The open air carpark beside the hotel is an approved fireworks/fire crackers letting off ground during Chinese New Year 2026. Hence there is frequent bomb bomb sound at night during our stay. Food is easy to find in the hotel vicinity. Hotel breakfast buffet is very basic. No service staff will make you scrambled or sunny side eggs."

"The location was good, right above Paradigm Mall. Service provider was prompt in replying to messages and gave clear check-in, check out guide with videos.
The place is just nice for a family of 6.
Slightly down side is the water pressure in the bathroom could be abit stronger, but this is subjective to individuals."

Host sangat friendly dan mudah berurusan. Bilik bersih dan selesa. Aircond berfungsi dengan baik, memang sejuk 👍. Internet pun laju dan stabil—sesuai untuk kerja atau streaming.
Lokasi pun strategik, senang nak bergerak ke mana-mana.
Highly recommended untuk yang cari tempat stay yang selesa dengan servis terbaik"

The residence is conveniently located near Paradigm Mall, making it easy to access shopping and dining options. The host/management was friendly and responsive, and the check-in/check-out instructions were clear and hassle-free.
The unit itself was very spacious, clean, and well-equipped — perfect for larger families or groups. Everyone had plenty of space to relax comfortably.

YYiChaoThe ventilation fan lighting couldn’t be turned off and it’s very bright. Couldn’t get into sleep. Would suggest hostel to deactivate that light. Overall experience is great, however female toilet cleaness have to improve . Reasonable price for travelers stay.

AAlvinOngThe unit itself is nice but the management do not give customers a good vibe. Everything was wrong from start of checked in. Before checking in I already informed management that I am riding a motorbike. The instructions given to me was to park at level 5. Upon reaching the mall to collect keys. The guards do not allow me to go level 5, no bike is allowed. Told me to go park in the basement but did not tell me that I need to collect a bike card to scan in at the basement carpark for bike. After quite sometime asking around, one of the guard told me to get a bike card from the reception.
Next when reached the unit. There is a metal gate. But I was given a key card for the lift and a sensor for the main door. No key for the gate. When texted the management. It’s replied by AI. So I need to take a lift to UG level and see the reception again. I was told there is a manual latch behind the gate. All these troubles could be solved if proper instructions were given to me. I came down from Ipoh, a long ride down and still need to go around finding out how to get into the unit.
Upon entering the unit, looks beautiful at first. Then when want to have a shower, there is not a single hook or rack for bath towel. So I have to text again. I was told to hang towel on the curtain rod. But there was no curtain rod. The only rod I saw was a metal rod sticking inside a plastic pail. So texted again and show photo. The reply was hang my towel on the door lock. First time I heard of this. So I went to take my towel. It was a dirty towel with black stained. Send photo to reception. Nothing was done, not even an exchange of towel. Is just silence….
After shower wanted to get some water to drink. It was a water dispenser that is not dispensing. So went down to the supermarket to buy a bottle of mineral water.
The only plus point of this place is joined to a mall. That’s about it. I have never rated any hotel or apartment so low before. This is my first and I hope it will be my last.

VVieraskäyttäjäBest part was the location and having 2 bedrooms in the apartment. On hindsight, should have gone for hyatt at the same building where lobby is accessible within the mall.
For this residence, had a hard time even trying to check in. First of all, the auto reply welcome message told us to whatsapp the number 1-3 day before on check in. When i did, there was no reply all the way even thought the number was indeed under antlerzone.
Had no idea if this was because check in was not ready until after 4pm on checkin day and no choice waited till then. But still no reply so tried to look around for alternative contact number and finally got reply from another of their whatsapp number and only begun check in process then. By then kids was tired and irritated and the instructions givennto access the lobby was not helpful for families not driving. Had to walk up the cars’ slope to reach. Advice on alternative lift and entrances were not helpful.
Families with young children or elderly need to consider these.

VVieraskäyttäjäJS Hotel oli hiljattain paikalla ja vaikka sijainti oli mukava, yleiskokemus jätti jotain toivottavaa. Hotelli tuntui hieman vanhentunut, ja huoneet voisivat olla huomiota puhtauden ja huollon. On selvää, että kiinteistö voisi hyötyä uudistamisesta parantaakseen mukavuutta ja vetoomusta.
Myönteisellä puolella hotelli on kävelymatkan päässä Aeon Shopping Mall, joka on erittäin mukava ostoksia ja ruokaa. On myös mukavuuskauppa suoraan ulkopuolella, joka tekee helppoa napata olennaisia.
Yleensä, jos etsit vain perus, ei-frills paikka jäädä erinomaiseen sijaintiin, JS Hotel voisi toimia. Kuitenkin, jos etsit nykyaikaisempaa tai hyvin ylläpidetty kokemus, saatat haluta tutkia muita vaihtoehtoja.

VVieraskäyttäjäAir cond at living room was defective. Unbearable during these few days when weather was so hot. Ended up we had to check out earlier to soak ourselves in air cond malls. Heater at common bathroom was also not functioning properly. Water was still hot even though the dial of instant heater was set to “off”. We had to turn on both shower heads/taps to mix the hot and cold water ourselves. No hand soap was provided even though Covid taught us to be mindful of hygiene
