It was my first experience of Japanese hot springs and I enjoyed it a lot. First of all, I'd like to thank a male staff who met me during check-in. He welcomed me warmly, explained all the details of my stay and helped to carry my bag to the room. Unfortunately, the female personnel wasn't that much friendly the next day when I asked for some help with my luggage. The rooms have a splendid view of a forest and a river, old style Japanese but with some modern facilities. The meal aren't a traditional Ryokan type but are still quite enjoyable with sushi and wagyu beef as a starter. In general, I can say it's a mix of traditional Japanese and moredn western style hotel in one. If you're lucky and avoid the days when the hotel is crowded you'd be able to enjoy the river view from the onsed in quiet. Unfortunately, the water in the outdoor wasn't as clear as I expected. But the rest was just amazing.

We love everything here. Efficient, thoughtful and good super delicious. I ate everything like never did when stat at any ryokan.

Right in front of the bus stop Kamaya-Mae I think.. Kind hosts who speaks a reasonable amount of English. Dinner smelled delicious but I didn’t go for it because I wanted to try the other restaurant in the area. If I return to kawayu, I will come back here.

從本宮大社走大日越徒步到的酒店，路過湯峯温泉街，離温泉街大概走個半小時就到，不太清楚坐車如何，酒店環境很好，完全日式度假酒店，安靜，遠離人羣，服務熱情，衞生合格，（注意客房內是沒有淋浴的，都得去大浴室）温泉很大有特色，晚飯也不錯，休息的非常好，走的時候有班車送到本宮，（可能也可以約接）渡瀨温泉值得體驗！

This hotel is perfect for a relaxing one day stay. It’s right beside a sapphire-blue river in the middle of the mountains. The in-room onsen is more than big enough for two people and they also have communal baths. They also offer a free shuttle to the start of a stretch of the Kumano Kodo if you want to hike the next day.

is so relaxing to have hot spring trip on this hotel. specially, when u finishing the Kumano kodo routes from Kumano Hongū Taisha.

Majoitusmaksu ilmaistaan ､ kaaosiksi.¥ 9,800 〜 Jos maksat käteisellä paikalla, saat alennuksen. Kun menen paikalle, tilanne on erilainen.

It was 3rd day when my wife and I are hiking KUMANO KODO. After 6 and half hour hiking and 20 minutes bus, we arrived at Watarase Onsen Hotel Sasayuri around 5pm. At checking counter, we found that I booked wrong day - one day late….. However service person rearranged room and dinner for us within less than half hour. Their traditional Japanese service and food are amazing and forgettable. I will be for sure coming back when I revisit this area.

I had a such beautiful stay at Aizu ~ eating breakfast in the sun on the deck was bliss! Met loads of friendly travellers and the hosts are super kind. Thank you Aizu Guesthouse :))

Huone on hyvin puhdas, pomo hoitaa ihmisiä ja hyviä, ja hän vaihtelee kiinaksi käännösohjelmistolla. Olen järjestänyt hänen aamiaistaan 800 yeniä, syödä hyvin, en tiedä, mitä ruokaa valitaan, se on, mitä hän tekee, mitä syön ja tyydyttää. Tämä kansa voi kuljettaa aseman, en puhu japania, ja hän voi kulkea ja hän ajaa minut asemalle, kun hän lähtee. Se on hyvä!Bussit ovat kaksi kertaa päivässä, ja ne ovat vaikeat ja ne ovat iloisia.
