Under renovation right now so lift is rather messy. Surprised that room comes with face wash, make up remover oil, hair gel and laundry detergent. Didn't dare to use it but thought it was a nice touch. Coffee machine and tea in the lobby for self service. Serve supper 9pm-11pm but I missed it during my stay so no reviews on that."

Otherwise it’s probably the worst hotel in China and Ibis worldwide , I’ve resided in ! As you enter the disgusting, grubby lift , you know what to expect . NO INTERNET IN THE ROOM . And the 2/3 male characters at reception don’t help . But the location and cheap !"

"Stayed here a few times since I left Ningbo and have been returning for visits. I knew the hotel already when it used to have M Bar but - as predicted - they have finally done away with the place and replaced it with some kind of members lounge. In fact, that whole side of the hotel has gone more upmarket - in keeping with the standards of the brand. The reception staff are efficient if a bit cold, the breakfast is plentiful and fresh (I think there was a conference or something as was super busy) and the hotel is clean and roomy. The soft pillows are still my biggest complaint but I have continued to stay here despite this and beds are comfortable in general. Thanks and best wishes."

"It's a great hotel. Keeps up to the Shangrila high standard. It's slightly away from the busiest part of the city but close enough to walk on a fine day. It's right next to the huge K11 shopping mall. Unfortunately it's very empty with low traffic so it's not a nice place to shop or hang out. That's a disappointment. Hope things will get better."

TTridib MisraAfter reserving, I received a courtesy call from the hotel, and we then connected on WeChat since I don’t speak Chinese. The hotel introduced me to Long, the housekeeper, who coordinated our entire stay with great care and attention. Before our arrival, they asked if we had any special requests. As my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, I asked them to decorate the room with flowers—and they did a beautiful job. They also asked about our dinner and breakfast preferences and were impressively organized in their preparations. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, but our taxi had trouble locating the hotel. I called Long, and he immediately came out to meet us—a huge help! When we checked in, they welcomed us with refreshments and even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. The room had a bathtub, which our three-year-old son especially loved. To our delight, they had thoughtfully prepared a child’s hygiene kit for him, including kid-friendly soap, shampoo, and a dental kit. We also received a handwritten note, a fresh fruit bowl, and a lovely bouquet of flowers. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and very tastefully decorated. There’s a small indoor play area for children, including a slide, tent, and games—our son played there every day. We also enjoyed strolling around the grounds and spending time at the scenic swimming pool, which is nestled in the mountains. The food was another highlight: we had a delicious Chinese dinner and a traditional Chinese breakfast, both full of flavor. Throughout our stay, Long was incredibly helpful and made our trip truly special. Thank you, Long! I highly recommend Lost Villa. They have other locations as well, and we’re definitely looking forward to staying with them again.

Henkilökunta auttoi meitä matkatavaroiden kanssa heti sisään tullessamme ja tarjosi popcornia. Hotellin vastaanoton popcornit olivat herkullisia ja niitä oli saatavilla 24 tuntia vuorokaudessa. Illalla he jopa toivat jälkiruokakeittoa huoneeseen koputtaen oveen. Pystyi itse valitsemaan, halusiko sokeria vai ei. Tämä oli todella miellyttävä oleskelu, myös pyykinpesumahdollisuudet olivat erinomaiset. Erittäin tyytyväisiä, tulemme varmasti uudestaan!

VVieraskäyttäjäI would have given a 5-star review for Pan Pacific Ningbo had it not been for allowing guests and even hotel staff to smoke in the hotel! I give 1-star for cleanliness because allowing guests and staff to smoke in a hotel lobby and rooms is simply disgusting! There's nothing clean about it! It's such a waste because Pan Pacific Ningbo has such great facilities and luxurious interior; I even made a video of the hotel and will be posting it on my newly created YouTube channel. I may return again when the Chinese government has banned smoking in hotels and taken a more serious attitude against smoking and enforced the laws against smoking in hotels and restaurants. Having brought up the bad thing about Pan Pacific Ningbo, I would like to highly commend the following staff for their exemplary services: 1. Cady of the reception Cady was the same receptionist who checked us in during our two separate stays, on our way to Zhoushan and back from Zhoushan. She was very courteous and friendly. She offered to add me on her WeChat so that I could contact her if I needed anything. True enough, I needed to contact her within a few hours after we checked-in during our second stay. Smoke filled our room. When I found out that it came from the room next to ours, I immediately informed Cady, who immediately arranged for someone to spray air freshener in the corridor. She offered air filter, which I declined as we were already going out. As we walked down the lobby, I realized that Cady had actually left, and she was arranging all those even though she was already off duty! It was also Cady who informed me that GHA Discovery members would get dining discount by giving me a brochure. 2. Cora (陈丽) Cora was the wait staff attending our table at Madr 99. When I found out that I had run out of mobile data plan, I asked Cora for the passcode to logon to the hotel Wifi. Strangely, there's no option to logon with hotel room number. There were only 2 ways to logon to the hotel wifi: using a passcode and mobile number. Cora kindly offered to use her mobile number to help me logon. She didn't even ask me to use my own mobile number. It was very kind of her to do that. Upon paying the bill, I presented Cora with my GHA Discovery membership card. Cora provided me with 10% discount for silver member, exactly as stated in the brochure that Cady gave me. When we headed back to the serviced suites, another male wait staff chased us and rudely told me that GHA Discovery silver member was not entitled to any dining discount at all. He demanded me to go with him to the cashier to sign a new invoice. I later contacted Cady and asked her to verify with her manager the terms and conditions of dining discount for GHA Discovery member, before we went to Hai Tien Lo to dine in the evening. Cady, who was already at home and off duty, gladly obliged to my request, and confirmed that dining discount was applicable to even silver members. Perhaps hotel management could ask Cora to train the guy properly before allowing him to interact with guests directly! Otherwise, one day he might get punched by guests who are irritated by his behavior. 3. Cavan Cavan was the porter/concierge who helped us deliver our luggage to our room. He, too, was friendly and polite like Cady and Cora. He even walked us to Madr 99 and showed us where all the hotel restaurants were located. The way he treated us was like VVIP. The hotel management should treasure and try to retain these 3 excellent staff. Have these 3 experienced staff to train their junior colleagues.

LLing_sgMX Mansion has given me the best overall service experience. You can really feel that the hotel places strong emphasis on service quality. Location: Strategically located in the heart of Ningbo, the hotel is just a stone’s throw away from Cheng Huang Night Market, the pedestrian street, shopping malls, and many popular restaurants. Super convenient for exploring the city. Staff: Check-in was pleasant and smooth, with friendly and warm staff at reception. They were very helpful in giving us navigation tips around the area. The team even went the extra mile to make our wedding anniversary special. A big thank you to Ms. Lu (吕小姐) for her thoughtful service! Amenities: The self-laundry area and gym are tucked away in a corner, so they’re convenient to use without disturbing guests. Room: Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. It feels like the hotel has been newly renovated. The environment is comfortable and well-maintained. Breakfast: The breakfast spread is good and offers enough variety if you prefer to dine in the hotel. Note: During winter, the hotel uses a centralised air-conditioning system, which means the rooms are set to heating mode. There are rooms with and without windows, so do consider your preference. My room was without the freezer, but the receptionist said if I requested during check in, she can arrange to upgrade for the customers. Breakfast is good and have a wide variety to taste. The location is close to both Ningbo Airport and the high speed train station.

Let me share my experience: Stylish Ambiance: The hotel, though showing its age, exudes a certain elegance that sets it apart. The vintage touches combined with modern aesthetics create a captivating atmosphere. Prime Location: CITIC Ningbo enjoys an enviable location, offering easy access to the heart of the city. From my room, I had a delightful view of the surroundings, which added to the overall experience. Breakfast Variety: The breakfast spread was impressive, with an array of options to suit different tastes. Whether you prefer a hearty meal or something light, the hotel caters to all preferences. Fully Stocked Mini Bar: The mini bar was a pleasant surprise. It was well-stocked, allowing guests to indulge in their favorite beverages and snacks. However, there were a couple of areas where the hotel fell short: Toiletry Oversight: Unfortunately, the housekeeping team overlooked the essential toiletries. I missed having a dental kit, comb, body cream, and shower gel. Even the shampoo was absent from the toiletries collection. Tiny Bottles: In the cabinet, I found only tiny bottles of body wash and shampoo. While they were functional, I expected more comprehensive amenities. In summary, CITIC Ningbo International Hotel offers a nostalgic charm, excellent location, and stylish ambiance. With a little attention to detail, it could regain its former glory. They staff are very nice , they were very accommodating on our needs. The place does needs some maintenance as we encounter some light issues and we had to change room, and some mold . Other than that it’s a great place
