The reception was helpful and provided toothbrush upon request. However, the shower gel wasn’t refilled even after I notified the front desk. Overall, a pleasant stay, though housekeeping could improve."

"It’s a new Islamic hotel, and they provide free breakfast for two from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, with an additional charge of 140 baht for extra guests. Since the hotel is new, everything was in excellent condition. Cleanliness was top-notch, and the service was great. They even have a swimming pool. I also appreciated the kiblat signage in the room, which is very convenient for Muslim guests. The only downside is that it’s quite far from the city, with no nearby 7-Eleven or food stalls. Other than that, everything was perfect! I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again if I visit Hatyai in the future."

The Hat Yai Railway Station is also only about an 8-minute walk away, which makes travel super convenient. Rooms here are spacious and comfortable (many guests said the beds are great and some deluxe rooms feel like suites), and there’s even an outdoor pool you can relax in after a day of sightseeing. It’s a solid choice if you care more about a clean, easy stay in the city center rather than luxury. The hotel is not brand new — some guests mentioned it’s a bit dated in places — but for the price you pay and how central it is, it’s still good value for money, especially if you’re planning to shop, eat, or visit night markets nearby. A few people found the hotel older and wished for renovations, but that’s common for great location hotels that are priced well."

"I stayed at Subanan Resident in Hatyai and had a really good experience overall. The cleanliness is the first thing that stood out — the place is spotless, probably one of the cleanest I’ve stayed at in this price range. The service was also impressive. When I had an issue with the WiFi, I just gave them a call and the staff personally came over to hand me the code face-to-face. Check-in and check-out were both quick and smooth. Even on my first visit, the parking service was clear and well-organised, which made things easier. Location-wise, it’s not in the busy tourist area, which I actually liked. It’s surrounded by local houses, so the vibe is calmer and more relaxing. Within walking distance (about 4 minutes) there’s a Big C Mini, and a 7-Eleven about 7 minutes away. It’s a nice balance — not too far from convenience, but away from the tourist crowds and heat. As for amenities, they’re average. One of the rooms came with a Netflix account, while another didn’t, which was a bit inconsistent. Also, setting it up wasn’t the most straightforward — you need to switch between the TV remote and the Xiaomi box remote, which takes a little figuring out. Overall, if you value cleanliness, friendly service, and a calm local atmosphere over being in the middle of the tourist spots, Subanan Resident is a solid choice. Btw the coffee n tea pastries is just a cupcake and milo powder"

"I stayed alone and overall it's a good hotel where the night is quiet and the receptionists are very attentive & helpful when I reach out. The hotel has only a few massages and restaurants nearby but I was able to find a local restaurant and relaxing massage nearby within walking distance. The downside is the hotel WiFi kept disconnecting throughout the night and my data was having a hard time loading when I was in the hotel. Overall it is a good hotel but it might not be my first hotel option when visiting Hatyai as I was having trouble on the hotel WiFi and my phone data had no service."

"I have a good stay here. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Can converse using good english. The parking space is huge. Location wise is very strategic, as is it easy to get around. The hotel also provided free shuttle to go to anywhere within 5km radius. For sure will choose this hotel if im planning to go to hatyai again. The room is clean & spacious. Nice decoration. Concierge service is very good. Cleaning staff is very attentive too. Overall very good stay here."
