"The location is away from the busy district, the area is very relaxed with a mixed of residential and small businesses. There are a convenience stores nearby, cafes and small local restaurants. Quite a walk from the nearest MRT station ( around 10 to 11 minute walk ) specially that its been raining during our stay. The room is very spacious, clean and complete with amenities ( except for toothbrush - which I think is a government regulation for single-use items - so just take note ) The bathtub was our favorite, we get to relax everytime we go back to our hotel after a loooooong day. The beds are comfortable too and this is honestly the best part of my day, my complete 8-10 hour sleep. The staff were also friendly and attentive. They also offer snacks and coffee and choco drinks at the lobby which is my teen's favorite. Over all we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel if they don't mind a bit of walk in exchange for some relaxed and quiet location."

"This hotel is conveniently located just across the road from Jiantan MRT station exit 1. You are 1 min from the MRT station. The reception is friendly and welcoming. Though the room size is small, everything is well designed in such a way that it feel bigger as everything you need from luggage stand, mini bar, safe box is all easily accessible. Even though my room is on level 3 directly facing the MRT track, the sound proofing is so good that I don’t even hear the train passing.  The room is very clean and bed is firm and comfortable. Air coning is strong if you set it to low temperature. It worked well.  The breakfast is average."

"I am extremely satisfied with my overall experience at Hotel Royal Beitou. The hotel’s location is superb, conveniently close to the train station and various tourist attractions, making it an ideal choice for travelers. The pricing is also very reasonable, offering great value for the quality of service and amenities provided. The room was spotless and well-maintained, equipped with a wide range of facilities and amenities that catered to all my needs. The in-room toiletries, especially the shower products, were of high quality and a pleasure to use. I also appreciated the thoughtful additions such as scented candles, a sound system, a dehumidifier, and unique snacks and beverages. The only minor issue was that the TV’s internet connection was down, which prevented me from watching any programs. The service provided by the hotel staff was exceptional. They were friendly, professional, and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Upon check-in, they took the time to introduce all the room facilities in detail, which was very helpful. The breakfast offered by the hotel was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from, catering to different tastes and preferences. Overall, my stay at Hotel Royal Beitou was a delightful experience, thanks to its prime location, well-appointed rooms, and outstanding service. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Beitou for hot spring relaxation."

"The hotel was a great experience. My chosen room had private hot spring which also had a great view. Great value for the price of the room. Staff are very nice and accommodating. The hotel is located in front of bus station so it’s also very accessible with public transportation, however there are only few buses at night with long intervals. The private hot spring is great but the shared hot spring needs renovations and repainting. Overall great experience!"

"The service was terrible. I booked this hotel with 2 meals. , for dinner, they said we could not order the expensive menu, so we ordered within what they advised us. The oysters were not very fresh, and the soup was so blended, and there was no taste. We did not enjoy our meal much, and then once we finished, they gave us the bill with additional charge. I asked yhat lady what this additional charge for, then that lady did not even know what is wrong at the first. and then she called other senior lady, and she came back to us and explained like, ”This menu you ordered was actually not included in your meal plan. But it's okay since it's our fault, we will not charge to you. It's okay we will take this additional chages. ” I felt like... they are not generously allowing us something or giving services. Was so uncomportable. And the guy who work in the spa place on 2nd floor was so rude. Cheng? Chen? He was so rude and not quite nice. Also, for the outside spa(pool?), i know a lot of othe hotels spa allow people to use the shower cap on ther hair, but they said i should buy the swimming cap. Was so strict, so even we had the swimsuits, we were not able to use the outside spa(pool?). I paid almost 600$ and this hotel does not deserve to get this much amount. I do not recommend this hotel never ever."

"the hotel resort was amazing! service was so good and the room was sooo cozy. amazing for couples who want a peaceful getaway! we stayed for 1 night and felt so sad that it ended so quickly. but it was the last night of our trip and it was a great way to end our taiwan trip. will definitely want to be back again for 2 nights next time to have more time to explore the city area and also to make use of more amenities."

"I liked about this hotel very much and few points are as below- 1. Lovely and luxurious feeling by residing in this hotel. Every facility gives you a feel of a luxury hotel such as bed, entrance, doors of the room, staffs curtsy. 2. Breakfast has wide variety including one option for vegetarian person as well. They serve you as you order and staff try to help as much as possible with there little English language. 3. All receptionist speaks fluent English. Nearby National Museum and very good view from hotel of nearby mountains. 4. Bedding and bathroom were spacious. Even though little far from main Taipei city but it is worth to stay here rather then in busy city environments."

"We stayed 3 nights at The Tango Jiantan and really enjoyed it. The location is super convenient, right next to Jiantan MRT and close to Shilin Night Market. Our room was quiet, stylish, and very clean, with a comfy bed and a big bathtub. We loved the smart features like electric curtains and the Japanese toilet. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was simple but good. Great choice for comfort and easy travel in Taipei."

"The atmosphere is very good. Nearby a 24-hour book store which can go to watch and buy books anytime. The view looks like a picture of signature Taipei with Taipei 101 and Taipei Dome from the balcony. The only thing is the location in between 2 BL line stations."
